Seriously, being handsome can be a disadvantage.
1. Girls see u as a play boy. it took d grace of God to convince my wife I wasnt a playboy, that i wanted her for keeps. My wife likes to flaunt me to her friends which can be sometimes embarrassing (and annoying).
2. People see u as arogant, so i go out of my way to smile and be friendly. I most times greet people first and try to make them comfortable around me.
3. Looks can open doors for u but will not prove d quality of who u are. I was employed at my present jobs coz of my looks but from past experience, i had to quickly prove myself that i had what it took for d job and my employers were quite impressed.
4. it can be quite embarrassing, eg when you are nominated as the most handsome man in the office (even when there were younger finer men).
5. It could also attract the wrong people (especially girls) around you coz they want to be seen with u. People sometime take advantage of u.
6. There is pressure on u to date a girl who is equally fine coz an average girl is not good enough for u.
7. U cant stand or walk down d road side or busstop for long coz people keep steering at u.
8. when u tell a girl excuse me, she thinks u want to toast her and she puts her guard on.

I also take advantage of it when i discovered people like to listen and be around me. during my service year i got involved with HIV campaign and preaching d gospel so i could reach out to lots of youths. it really paid off coz it gave me oppotunity to work and travel with UNICEF and NGOs. I do a lot of mentoring and counselling to youths, teens and young couples who want to marry.

So many advantages and disadvantages but I thank God for making me the way I am. Looks can open doors but what happens when u get in has a lot to do with ur personality and ur brains. So my advice, develop urself to the greatest height. Ur looks will be an added advantage.

Lagos has 2 large sea ports with another one under development. Why didnt the FG support Cross River in making its sea port operate especially to support its TINAPA and Export Processing Projects? Is it that dont want economic power to shift from the west to the east? Or so that the easteners dont import ammunitions unchecked. Its all politics.

Why are we even building more ports to import more foreign goods when we should be building our local industries for export. God help us.

Why would you then need to boil water twice just because you want to cook noodles/ The noodle makers say it's ready for eating in 4 mins. I think they know better and i believe them

U dont have to call the article silly. Its just a healthy way of cooking it. You take it or leave it. The product maker will neva tell u d long side effect of certain substances they use coz they want to sell. For example coke is advertised as a drink that goes well with food. i.e. it is ok to drink a coke after every meal. I have read and experimented the harmful side effect of coke especially it ability to remove rust and its usefulness in removing stubborn stains esp rust. Most consumers of coke dont knw this. Thou na something go kill person anyhow, but if we love this life, we should live it with care. I will love to live till old age and be full of health and vitality.
