The DNA request is admitted by the court and its success was facilitated by Mohbad's family's legal team, so this has gone beyond some ordinary people somewhere just calling for DNA, it's a process by those who know the law.

And do you know why Mohbad was killed, do you know what Mohbad has been calling for while alive,
Do you know his struggle with the so called wife while he was alive and just before he died?
And do you have the facts the father and the legal representatives have?
What if the issue of paternity is part of what led to the death of Mohbad ? If so then it's relevant!
They form part of evidences especially if the suspect has failed in other areas of investigation......then we can add one plus one together to have a conclusive report, that's how investigation works......

Don't forget is not as if everyman that dies be it accident on the road, or drowns in the river or through sickness, then people will now begin to call for DNA test from their wives, there is no relevance in that especially if they are LEGALLY MARRIED and the father never had issues with his children or questioned their paternity.

If they are not legally married or there are issues as regards paternity, the deceased family can call for DNA for sake of inheritance of property.
