Network shows bore me a lot. I find them either too tamed, too childish or unoriginal. With the exception of The Exorcist, I can't stand watching shows with dialogue conspicuously watered down to exclude profanities, scenes noticeably devoid of nude scenes, even when shot inside a strip club or brothel, tamed gun fights conspicuously devoid of good ol' blood and gore. Provocative sex scenes non-existent. Memorable Quotes a pipe dream.

Black Mirror Season 4 originally planned to be released early next month won't go ahead. Netflix had to shift it to next year for undisclosed reasons. Disappointed, as I was really really really looking forward to it.

Don't be naive. Only kids and naive people judge tv series based on awards and nominees nowadays. Three of the best tv shows of all times, The Shield (I don't mean agent of Shield pls), Justified & The Wire only garnered a negligible number of awards between them through the length of their respective run and yet people will look at this shows and use them as the gold standard to judge other shows.

Shows like Super girl, Smallville, Supernatural, The 100, Flash, 2 Broke girls and Pretty Little Liars have won multiple awards between them, but no self respecting tv show enthusiast will come out and rave about them. Why? Cos they are crap, period.

Awards don't mean shiit pal, the system is heavily rigged. It's the love and devotion of the fans that matter. Any credible television critic will tell you same.

Don't confuse popularity with quality dude. They ain't the same and can never be. Popularity is based on hype and Stranger things granted has that going for it at the moment. Quality wise, it's still far behind Netflix originals like Mindhunter, The Crown, Ozark and even HOC (season 1&2 at least).

And even in popularity it's not even numeruno. It's behind Chasing Cameron and 13 reasons why (another overrated crap).

The licencing issues is quite complex. Even though, X-men are under the MCU, they can't feature in any of MCU movies because of Sony ownership or something like that. Mehn that shiit is complicated.

The Marvel that do movies is separate from the Marvel that do tv series. The former is MCU and the later is Marvel television. Their worlds don't overlap. ie The Avengers (Iron man, Thor and Bruce Banner) will never feature or be acknowledged in The Defenders (Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones) world and so on, due to licencing issues add whatnot.
