Religion / Brief Teaching On The Doctrine Of Satan... by brighly: 3:39pm On Nov 19, 2023
The scripture says in the last days many shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of the devil (1 Timothy 1:4). Notice it says many shall depart from the faith? The implication of this is that there are many Christians, believers, and churches who are no longer in the faith. Also, realize that as long as you are not in the faith, you don’t have eternal life. It doesn’t matter how you feel or what you confess. If you are not in the faith of Jesus Christ, then you don’t have eternal life because this eternal life is in the Son of God and given to all that have faith in Him.

Now, what is the doctrine of Satan? It is very broad, and these are beliefs that do not emanate from the Spirit of God. They are belief systems that come from demons or the flesh. Most demonic doctrines appeal more to the flesh than to the spirit. For example, when God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, this tree was beautiful to behold, it appealed to their flesh and lust, but God said don’t eat. But the devil, the serpent, came and said, 'Eat it, it is good for you and will make you wise.' What the serpent was offering to Adam and Eve is what we call the doctrine of the devil. Adam and Eve giving their ears to what Satan is saying is what the Bible calls giving heed to the doctrine of Satan.

For example, as believers in Christ Jesus, according to the doctrine of God, we should seek the kingdom of God above everything else (Matthew 6:33) and set our eyes on the things of heaven, not the things that are in this world (Colossians 3:1). But many doctrines have crept into Christianity, teaching on how they can be successful and become possessors of the things of this world. These messages are appealing to many, but they are doctrines of the devil. Those who are seduced by these messages think they are in the faith, but they are not. This is one reason why the Bible says, 'Narrow is the way that leads to life, and only few will find it.'

These doctrines of Satan are rampant in the church today; many go to church not because they are pursuing the kingdom of God but because they need breakthroughs either in their business, career, relationships, and every other worldly benefit. And the wicked one, the devil, has prepared enough preachers who will feed these lusts and keep these people away from the faith.

If you are one of the people I have described, please know that you are not in the faith of Jesus Christ, and it is time for you to repent and seek true fellowship with believers who are seeking the kingdom of God and avoid following preachers who are teaching the doctrine of Satan.

Let those who have ears hear what the Spirit is saying.

That is the story your pastors and mogs tell you but that claim directly contradicts Jesus Christ who made clear that those who follow Him are to
▢ No longer work for food that perishes — no jobs or careers - John 6 vs 25 - 35
▢ Store up treasures for themselves in Heaven and not here on earth - Matthew 6:19-21
▢ Abandon, everything they have and own in order to become His, giving what they have freely to those who have none - Matthew 10 vs 35 - 39 & Matthew 16 vs 24
So, be honest with yourself. You do not serve the God of Jesus Christ but rather the whims and ideas of your pastors and mogs. undecided

2. If you truly believe that then what exactly is the difference between amassing wealth for yourself and coveting wealth for yourself?
Your theology is really bad, you have not known God. Did Paul the Apostle work? Who makes people rich? Is it not God? Prov 10:22. It says His blessing maketh rich and added no sorrow. Also Paul in 1 Timothy 6:17-19 New Living Translation (NLT)
"Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. Tell them to use their money to do good. " Who did He says here gives people richly all things? Do not wallow in ignorance, you indeed lack the knowledge of God. Your poverty and your lack will not bring you close to God, if you think that is what is going to happen. God is not moved by your poverty or wealth only the condition of your heart. As a poor man do you trust Him? As a rich man do you trust Him? Where is your hope, in mammon or in God? In the ends, every good gift comes from God, do not attributes God's blessings to the devil or evil. You are in real error and I pray you are. delivered. from this mindset.

Jesus Christ said those who belong to Him
▢ No longer work for food that perishes — no jobs or careers.
▢ Store up treasures for themselves in Heaven and not here on earth
▢ Abandon, everything they have and own in order to become His, giving what they have freely to those who have none

How could Jesus Christ had been the one who sent you there to amass riches for yourself by means against Him? undecided

God is not against his children. getting rich. He is against them getting covetous.

I had prayed for many things that I believe will Help me live according to the will of God but have never received any of that from God. There is no guarantee of making heaven for anyone as the bible made it clear that it's he that endured to the end that is going to be saved.

If God isn't answering my prayers about All those things I need to live holy life now on earth,I'm afraid I might not endure to the end. That's why I have started praying not to exist again (in heaven or hell fire) after this present life on earth . What do y'all think?
you have an idol in your heart, you are not seeking God with the right heart. Get rid of those idols and seek him with your whole heart.

Ok.....So does God determine for people to travel or not? or traveling is a personal decision?
If he truly is your God then that is not a personal decision. There is a way that seems right to a man but the end of that way is the way of death. So we need him so that we can avoid the path of death and always move in the path of life. For as many that are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. It didn't say everyone are His sons but only those that are led by Him in all of lives endeavours.

What is the name of the God that gave you the revelation?
The God of the Bible whom I have come to know through the Lord Jesus Christ. Actually He did not send me here because he wants to make me rich but for his own purpose. It was only this year I come to the complete knowledge of why He sent me here.

I have so many things to say but will make it very short.
If you japa contrary to the will of God, you will waste your life. If you stay in Nigeria contrary to the will of God, you will waste your life.
Why do you all go to church and pretend to serve God but do not care about what He thinks when you are considering making a major decision for your life?
As for me , I left over a decade ago by revelation. Before I left , I had nothing , I was very poor in Nigeria. None of my family member have a home as of the time I left the country. But God showed through several vision and revelation that I will live in the USA.
Today I am a landlord in America most expensive city and in one of the most expensive neighborhood in that area. I also set up a business in Nigeria that earns over 2 million monthly, the money that I hardly touch. So I was a lizzard in Nigeria that became a lion in USA. Follow God not any man.

Maynman:
1 john 5:7 is a forgery though.
well you would have made a point if this was the only scripture that support the teaching of trinity. There are multiple scriptures that support Jesus Christ as God the Son, God himself called Jesus Christ God in Hebrews 1:8. Also He commanded all the angels to worship Him in Hebrews 1:6. If Jesus is not God why did God asked angels to worship Him? is the worship of creature not sin in the eyes of God? Is it not an abomination in the eyes of God to worship anyone or anything that is not God? All those that do not belive Jesus as God cannot be his disciples. Their heart is blinded and cannot see the light of the glorious Christ. That is all I have to say on this topic for this platform. Bye
Religion / Exposing Reno Omokri lies/ignorance on Trinity by brighly: 10:00pm On Sep 25, 2023
Because Reno Omokri has been using his media influence to deceive many ignorant folks, I want to use this opportunity to explain this issue.

The divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ are fundamental to the Christian faith. Anyone who denies either of these two (divinity & humanity) denies the Lord Jesus Christ. I will focus on the divinity of Christ here.

The word "trinity" simply means three in one; the word does not appear in the Bible, but the concept of three in one appears in multiple places in the Bible. These three are the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit.

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)

It is this Word of God that became flesh and is now called Jesus Christ, the Lord of All. As John put it here:

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

God created the world through Jesus Christ (John 1:3). Many say Jesus did not call Himself God. Yes, He did not need to testify about Himself. It was God Himself who called Jesus God here:

"But to the Son He says: 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.'" (Hebrews 1:8 )

Jesus said about Himself to John in Revelation 1:8 as stated here:

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,' says the Lord, 'who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.'" (Revelation 1:8 )

Why did Jesus say this about Himself to John? That is because He and the Father are one.

"He said in John 10:30, 'I and the Father are one.'"

Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, 'Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?' The Jews answered Him, saying, 'For a good work, we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.'" John 10:31-33

In the above scripture, the Jews tried to stone Him because they claimed that He made Himself God. In John 6:45, Jesus used scripture to answer this accusation by telling the Jews that it is written in their law concerning Him that "They will all be taught by God." What does it mean when Jesus said He and the Father are one? It means that everything that God is, Jesus can claim the same thing. That is why it is not a sin to worship Jesus Christ; in fact, God commanded all the angels to worship Him:

"And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, 'Let all God's angels worship Him.'" (Hebrews 1:6 )

They share the same existence; you cannot separate the Father from the Son, neither can you separate the Son from the Father. You cannot have the Father without the Son, neither can you have the Son without the Father. You cannot honor the Father without honoring the Son, neither can you honor the Son without honoring the Father.

"That all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him." (John 5:23 )

There are many more scriptures that prove this point, but I believe what I have provided is enough. If you still do not believe in the deity of Jesus Christ and that He deserves to be worshiped just as you worship the Father, then you are one of those whose heart has been blinded by the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4 ).

Reno Omokri and many people like him will tell you to search the scripture. Everything I have presented here is not my words but scripture. They are blinded by darkness until the glorious light of Christ shines in their hearts. They won't believe, and they will continue to be used as instruments in the hands of Satan to try to diminish the glory of the everlasting Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

His replies is shallow and does not shows a deep understanding of consecration which is required for everyone who is called to be a priest. Also using the children of Israel as an example shows that he doesn't even have a deep knowledge of scripture. If he does he will know that the. children of Israel he was using as example never knew God, infact most of them perish in the wilderness because they don't know God. The fact something is in the Bible doesn't necessary mean it is right and approved of the Holy Spirit. Many of the character in the Bible do not know God, and what was written is for our learning. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher and he will teach you all things.

vannessa7:

My experience is a bit similar to your own in that I was a church minister too and darkness refused to leave me alone, ancestral idol inviting me to worship it but I built a personal relationship with God through the holy spirit and even when death was nocking at my door I went to God in prayers of enquiry on what to do and I received psalm 27 which delivered me, I became a Muslim after powerful revelations and divine leading and I have since found rest from all those evil powers.
I want you to know that holiness is the only weapon that can deliver from satan permanently and islam enable this. Being holy in christianity is not easy because the purpose of the religion will be defeated which is to save sinners through another holy person and not you which means your holiness is not a must, this is deep and I hope anyone who comes across this will meditate on it. I have known that the closer you are to God the holier you get and that's why pastors and ministers in church have more anointing and are called servants of God and not of Jesus. With islam we go directly to God daily and this purifies us, it doesn't matter what anyone might say about terrorist etc, those are just satanic distractions so people don't come to islam. I have discovered that anyone that has the devil after them can only be permanently delivered through genuine islamic practice. Ask yourself what will happen to you in afterlife because all those gods you are serving have no heaven to take you to. God actually came through for you by allowing someone to pay your hospital bill from nairaland here, you should have sought the face of God personally on what to do before succumbing to become babalawo. Islam will get rid of all those evil powers permanently and if I were you I would have preferred to die than serve the devil and I did so several times, I had to declare that I stand with the three hebrew children that I would not bow to the graven image, please rethink.
You left Christianity because all the men that were coming for your hand in marriage were Muslims? My friend, you love the things of this world more than the love you had for Jesus Christ, who loved you and gave His life for your salvation. You turned your back on him when you were faced with temptation and trials, your faith did not pass the test. Everyones faith will be tested and tried, sadly yours did not pass the test.

In my formative years, we were three fiery brothers practising Christianity in Iwo town -- two of us very poor, but with strange will to survive. After secondary education and with nothing to live for, first among us was a talented beggar. As the second guy, my mother is late, and my father's whereabout was unknown. So, the first guy and I were living in one of the three houses I knew belonged to the father of the 3rd guy, but the father didn't care about the 3rd guy, though. The first guy is a genius in gathering monies through request for "urgent 2k" -- we lived on this for years.

Miraculously, I and the 3rd guy obtained degrees in science and administration respectively; the first guy obtained a degree in theology and became the chaplain of a university Chapel.

But those days as a fiery Christian, I lost 40% of my hearing. The last time I visited the first guy of a chaplain, he needed me to source urgent 5k for him. Just this morning, the 3rd guy called me that he has bone fractures and is receiving treatment at the Ogbomosho general hospital. He needs money at least for feeding, but none is forthcoming. Let me add that the first guy is in Baptist, I was in Winners Chapel while the 3rd guy is a Mountain of Fire adherent.

Then I joined the ministry in Winners Chapel. Oratory is still my best physical gift -- those in Winners Chapel Adeeke, Iwo in 2005 will remember me by the name Yinka. I had studied the scriptures from "paali to paali"; prayer sessions I handled those days looked like wartime events. While in the university, I was sent to pastor a new church in another town and did so successfully. But when I started full-time ministry, what you would usually call hosts of hell came banging at my door. They would tell me what would happen the following day and they would come to pass. They would tell me Mr A was at my door while I was still sleeping by 6:30am and that would be so.

Later, those spirits told me why I am on earth, and if I neglect my path, I would regret being born. They said I'm a Babalawo by design. I quickly went on overdrive binding "thoughts that may setup their selves against God's knowledge and every disobedience..." Then I would hear strange laughter of a group of persons suggesting the spirits were many. Then I traveled to see a primary school mate who is making waves as a general overseer of a church. All his prayers or deliverance made no difference.

Then voices started threatening me and commanded me to go to a village whose name I never heard hitherto saying that someone is waiting for me there. I googled the name of the town and I found it. I went there because previous messages didn't fail. I met the person and the priestess gave a stern warning that refusing to work for the gods would be a deadly decision. I accepted the calling right away.

But divination is not that easy to learn. I know someone who spent eight years on it. I became a pro within five months by some rare twists of events and within nine months, I became a full-blown Babalawo.

I'm tempted to say that Christians practice something different from what the Bible taught me. In 2020, my daughter was on life support at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomosho. The bills were clearly beyond what my 50k salary could handle. I requested for help from the church hierarchy by calling the district pastor, and he said I should follow a correct route in channelling my request. I replied that I first of all called the area pastor who directed me and gave me his number to call. The district pastor started sounding offensive. That was why I came to nairaland and made a thread for help.

A nairalander sent a huge amount of money to me in the following thread to clear hospital bills.

https://www.nairaland.com/5641659/leave-patient-hospital-because-lack#86385594

I tendered a resignation letter in Winners Chapel in 2021 with two weeks notice. Before the notice elapsed and till today, I never heard anything from them about my resignation. But when the district church mistakenly paid a sum of money into my bank account after I had left (that money ought to be sent to the current pastor of the church) I told the accountant and he asked me to refund it immediately. While working there, I never had any history of misconduct. They treated me as though I never existed; that action reduced me to a new low, lower than the basest of animals...

Mr. Yinka, during your days as a Christian preacher, were you baptized in the Holy Spirit? Were you filled with Holy Spirit? I am asking because it is hard for me to understand how someone who has tasted the gift of the Holy Spirit and the powers of the world to come would turn his back on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Folks who are just religious and have not tasted the powers can fall anytime when faced with temptation. Please let me know. I have tasted the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of Christ's Resurrection and this power dwells in me.

The bible is against divination. The Op may have been possessed by the spirit of divination. To anyone reading this thread, there is nothing spectacular about fortune telling, they are evil and will only bring the wrath of God upon you and your household. Stay away from so-called Babalawo or anyone that practices divination whether they call themselves Christian or not.

Divination is the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means.

stay away from anyone that practices divination or has the spirit of divination.

And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.
