The truth is bitter but Ngige must have to say it. |
Nairaland is not a law court,if other Governors said Jang is not the winner then they should go to court. Is it not in this same case of NGF which Fashola took to court & decided to withdraw, why did he later decide to withdraw the case from court?i It's not every thing you see in Nairaland the only thing you may see here is the 16 against 19 votes but the due process which qualifies the Governor to be on that seat is what you may not see here! According to the bible quote,if you fail one out of the ten commandment then authomatically you fail all (disqualified) so this NGF election is not all about 16,19 but the process of which you passed through to be on that seat.No NGF chairman should remain on seat & preside over his election have you thaught of this? If after an election & a petition came up which warrant to disqualify the winner, then the person that came second will be sworn in. Now let them go to court let's see if that 16,19 will have hold meaning there. Jonathan can not do anything in this matter except he's ready to infring the NGF constitution. Both Jang & Amaechi should go & have a rethink. Governors should go back for a fresh election which will clearly follow due process i think that is the resolution because Jang will not accept to step down cause he has some point & Ameachi will not accept Jang as the NGF chairman bacause he's looking at 16 against 19 mean while Jang is proceeding ahead. |
If the doctor wasn't one of them he would have identified himself with his ID & clear of doubt of his affiliation with WHO instead of runinig with terrorist. His investigation would have been minimal & the intervention of human right international would have been an advantage, for now he's involved even ICJ will also usher him thesame ideology. He's involved, simple. |

Some times i don't understand why should some one say Chidi Lloyd was defending democracy in Rivers state, let me tell you that a police man was chasing an armed rubber & shot an innocent civilian is not an excuse before the law!where did you see this democracy in Africa,is it the one that just happened in Zimbabwe? Not to mention Nigeria before this same Rivers state where a Governor was sworn in without receiving public vote during election? How can some one who is defending his pocket later became a democracy defender? Iv'e not seen that democracy which some one mentioned not to talk of the anti virus of democracy. If what you see here is democracy then you,my dictionary or my teacher made a mistake. ![]() |
Yes arresting Evans Bipi & others is just to make the case look as if the judge is neutral & to create more fund for the judiciary but the truth is that there will be no way Chidi Lloyd purnishment will not be more compare to others. The judgement against Bipi & others will be determind by the outcome of the police investigation which will still make Evans Bipi & others purnishment mild. The court can't lay much emphasis on Evans Bipi & others because ignorant is not an excuse to the law. When i mentioned others even the Governor of the state Rotimi Amaechi & his CSO are among,so you see what i mean bringing these people in will make the case head no where or cause much delay.Let's watch if this will not end like Otedola & Faruk Lawal where all the video evidence of the money transaction was rubbished before our eyes. ![]() |
How ever & which ever means the water enters the cocoanut ,that i don't want to know all i am saying is glory be to God! |

Get this police man, give him more alcohol, give a well loaded arm & take him to his family there you will know alcohol has no influence in his crime ,he already has a very bad habbit. The law should deal with this man for others to learn. |
Ilitracy na disease,if those boys has been to school & later serve this country as corpers, they would have known that one year sacrifice is not easy. Zimbabwe election: Mugabe's Zanu-PF 'wins majority' 2 August 2013 Last updated at 22:26 Play Robert Mugabe's Zanu-PF has won a clear majority, election officials say Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe's party has won a huge majority in parliament in this week's elections, officials say. With most seats declared, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission said Zanu-PF had won 137 seats in the 210-seat chamber, just short of two-thirds. Results in the presidential race have yet to be announced. Mr Mugabe's main rival, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, has already dismissed the election as "a sham". Mr Tsvangirai, 61, who heads the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and is running for president against Mr Mugabe, said the vote was "null and void". A local monitoring group has also said that the poll was "seriously compromised". However, the two main observer groups have broadly endorsed the election, saying it was free and peaceful. Earlier reports from the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) said Zanu-PF had won 142 seats but this was later corrected following some recounts. The AFP news agency reports that 186 seats have been declared with 24 results still to come. If Zanu-PF clinches a two-thirds majority it will be able to change Zimbabwe's constitution. Uneasy coalition African Union (AU) mission head Olusegun Obasanjo dismissed the complaints of fraud, saying the election was fair and free "from the campaigning point of view". He acknowledged incidents "that could have been avoided and even tended to have breached the law" but added: "All in all, up to the close of the polls, we do not believe that these incidences (incidents) will amount to the result not representing the will of the people." The former Nigerian president added: "I have never seen an election that is perfect. The process continues and we have to limit our comments." Monitors from the Southern African Development Community (Sadc) described the elections as "free and peaceful" but said it was too early to call them fair. "In democracy we not only vote, not only campaign, but accept the hard facts, particularly the outcome," said Sadc mission head Bernard Membe. The AU assessment sharply contrasted to that of the Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN) - the largest group of domestic monitors with some 7,000 people on the ground. It said on Thursday that the elections were "seriously compromised", with as many as one million people unable to cast their ballots. The ZESN said potential voters were much more likely to be turned away from polling stations in urban areas, where support for Mr Tsvangirai is strong, than in President Mugabe's rural strongholds. The group also alleged significant irregularities before the poll. It said that 99.7% of rural voters were registered on the electoral roll in June compared with only 67.9% of urban voters. Zanu-PF and the MDC have formed an uneasy coalition government since 2009. That deal ended deadly violence that erupted after a disputed presidential poll the previous year. Mr Mugabe, 89, is running for a seventh term. His Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa said on Friday that Zanu-PF was "headed for an unprecedented landslide". "If anyone is dissatisfied, the courts are there. I invite Tsvangirai to go to court if he has any grounds to justify what he has been saying,'' he told journalists. Under Zimbabwean law, seven days are set aside for legal challenges with another two days for rulings to be made. After that, the swearing-in of a new government takes place. The BBC's Andrew Harding in Johannesburg says some strong legal challenges are likely, with perhaps a few results overturned. Amid rising tension, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on President Mugabe and Mr Tsvangirai to send "clear messages of calm" to their supporters. His spokesman, Martin Nesirky, said Mr Ban wanted any election disputes to be handled "transparently and fairly". Source bbc. |
