MY BIRTH STORY
My birth story will be a short one. I no Sabi write epistle. On thursday I checked myself into the hospital for the surgery on Friday. To God be the Glory my princess came into the world at 12:51pm on 5th August weighing 3.5kg. It can only be God. Even though I wanted to try for a VBAC, I have no regrets whatsoever. I pray for other pregnant mothers that you all would deliver safely and ATC mamas the time to favour you has come. Thank you mamas.

Wheat is 100percent safe for blood sugar please...It's What my Mum has been eating for more than 10years now and no issues....It's even recently she added oatmeal too....

Good morning dear! Thanks for your concern. Will be 33weeks 2moro.I sincerely dunno what to do to reduce it.They have stopped me from eating all the starchy food. Now it's just wheat and beans am allowed to eat.Its really boring and frustrating aswear.

Sorry , you hear. It's gestational diabetes abi or you have always had high blood sugar? If it's pregnancy induced diabetes, with proper care it will disappear once you put to birth. ...You can eat unripe plantain too....you can eat oats too....

Good evening mamas.Abeg muna help me on this one.my sister told me to drink bitter leaf water because of my sugar level and I confirmed it from my mother inlaw and she gave me go ahead.I started drinking it this morning but fear still dey do me,i had to Google it and I just discovered it's not good for pregnant women.After I don almost finish one Eva rubber and I have been feeling funny dunno if it's because I trekked to wuse market and trekked back home.Abeg pls don't read and pass.Thanks in advance.

Sorry about your experience. Google is right.....bitter leaf is not safe for pregnant women especially in concentrated form as you took yours. How many weeks gone are you ? I want to believe if you are above 20 weeks or so , you should be relatively safe. Pray about it. Ask God to protect your LO. Take bed rest for a day or 2 if possible. You will be fine.

I'm guessing this isnt your first baby?? Think i heard somewhere that first babies dont give very large bumps. Not sure tho. Pele my sister, i pray for more strength and grace to u . Its not easy but God will break protocols and make it easy for u. Hugs

Abeg, let me know the weight when you do the next scan. My baby was weighing 3.13kg at 36 weeks, maybe I can use your own to estimate our progression too Lol. My naughty doctor was now saying jokingly like 'anything can happen in 4 weeks o', he knows I don't want this baby to be as big as his sister that was 4kg.

Safe delivery sis. Jehovah will make it easy for you.

Every woman and their mask of pregnancy jare. Dont fret too much over the stretch marka. If e like make e nor disappear, nothing spoil. My own is my tummy is very black. Till now it's still black but i nor send the belle again.

Last scan i did at 36 weeks, scan said 3.2kg. But i know say now i don reach 3.6 if not more. My annoyance now is that I doubt if I will get to use all those new born clothes I bought...with labels 3.5kg ....may need to do another shopping in less Dan 2months.

Your black tummy pigmentation will definitely clear with time wether you rub anything or not.....

1...Jay pooed only once yesterday, and most of it (like 90%) wPlease, is there any cause for alarm?

2...I also had my 6 week check up yesterday, and my blood pressure was 140/100,
I was given "adomet", to be taken thrice daily, for 7 days. I've never heard of this drug, so I dunno if it's safe to take it, or to even take it for that long (I know bp drugs are to be taken with care)...


3...Lochia didn't stop at all since I had my baby, but it changed color from bright red to pink, to brown, light brown,
Please, is this still lochia, or has my period resumed...?

4...What natural remedy can I use for boils? I have one big one on my left eye and it's really painful. I applied shea butter this morning (trial and error things... Lol).

Please help a worried first timer...

1. No idea about question as I have not had a baby before. Experienced mother's will respond. Put the question on New born thread too.

2. Your bp is evident that you need rest and assistance babe! It's unfortunate your Mum left so early. ...the doctor really wants the bp to crash fast no wonder he is prescribing 3times a day! But rest and sleep does it better....can you arrange for a house help or another relative to come and help? You need rest ooo esp as you had a CS.

3.Your stress can induce the lochia again cos you have not rested enough for your uterus to rest too.

4. What did you use when you had the 1st boil and it went away ? Boil on the eye may limit what natural things to apply IMO....keep applying the sheabuttet tho. You may eventually need antibiotics to take care of the root cause.

@ Britneystacy ! Oh my goodness! Sister, this is really a trailer bump! Ha! How do you cope? Jehovah is indeed great, I am happy it's almost over as you will drop safely soonest by God's grace. Mothers are indeed treasures! Hopefully, the stretch mark would reduce after birth but hope you moisturize regularly with sheabutter, olive .

Na Jah dey support my back and waist ooo.....it's not easy moving around with this load. I was not consistent with the sheabutter....I guess that's why. But baby keeps getting bigger and stretching my skin more..But I will buy the bio oil after delivery and be consistent. Thanks Dear

I was trying to apply it ooo but gaveup on the way cos of heat. Infact, I stopped using cream during this pregnancy cos of unnecessary sweating . I hope it's not too late to start again and continue even after delivery

I tried getting out of bed 2 days ago and whooop! my muscles in the left leg stiffen! I felt extreme pain and could not walk. see cry
k I'm tired jor, don't know if i can manage till the time i planned initially

Kpele. I notice that I usually have that painful muscle pull whenever my calcium supplements finishes and I have not replaced it in 4-5days....are you taking calcium tabs ?
