The verse also corresponds with all the other verses in the scriptures where jesus and the disciples identified the father as the one God, as their God and the only true God. And if Jehovah is the only true God what does that make other so called gods?

Jehovah is English , most languages have their own way of transliterating the tetragrammaton. The Hebrews and Greeks do not pronounce God's son name as "jesus" or do they?, they pronounce it differently . people who speak yoruba here pronounce it as "jesu". people who speak English say " jesus".

You are very much confused , the Hebrew tetragrammaton which is translated as Jehovah in the kjv of occurs over 6000 times in the scriptures, you need to ask the authors of the kjv why they translated it only seven or 4 times as Jehovah, and refuse to do so for the about 6000 other times the word was found in the scriptures. probably they wanted to help the devil in hiding God's name!

It is interesting to see them translate God's name as "lord" when there is another Hebrew word for lord, and those two Hebrew words don't mean the same things. It is this action of the kjv that is confusing you, thinking God's name only occurs a few times in the scriptures, no wonder you could not answer me if the
tetragrammaton is present in a particular verse.



You are learning small small, you have seen how people who wanted to hide God's name, like their forefathers did , replaced God's name with LORD,Lord and God, knowing fully well that their are other Hebrew words for them, and they don't have the same meaning.
