What is the name of your god? MaxInDHouse: |
Is that what you call yourself: a preacher preaching the unbiblical sermon. Max you are dancing with the devil. MaxInDHouse: |
Maybe there's a very good reason to that, I will give you one-you refuse to read the Word, so it's pointless witnessing to someone who hates the Word of God. You and Janosky haven't any idea, about your decisions you have made against the Word of God. If you believe Jehovah died for you, was raised up by whom? and his coming back to collect his people at appointed time. then of course you wouldn't believe the Word of God-even if it was looking straight at you. you still wouldn't believe.. MaxInDHouse: |
Neither did Jehovah: he didn't die for your sins either, but you worship him. MaxInDHouse: |
{Revelation 19:13} He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. You may believe in your head you can out smart the scriptures, but His Name is the Word of God: Janosky: |
The Hebrews and the Greeks recognized God with names such as YAHWEH YHWH, EL, ELOHIM, ADONAI. (Hebrew); THEOS KURIOS (Greek) are the correct names given to God. Jehova began 700 years ago by a Roman Catholic monk: and over 200 years ago the Watchtower had added the ending "H" and called God Jehovah.. So the bottom line is Jehovah is a 200 year old name given by the Watchtower. Yahweh name for the God of the Israelites, representing the biblical pronunciation of “YHWH,” the Hebrew name revealed to Moses in the book of Exodus. The name YHWH, consisting of the sequence of consonants Yod, Heh, Waw, and Heh, is known as the tetragrammaton. Janosky: |
Why not you Max look it up yourself: maybe then you will began learning the scriptures: you expect us to give you the answers, when it's pointless to do so, you never accept what the Word of God say's to you anyway. But you can change your laziest and begin studying the Word of God, the net is full of information about scripture, don't be frighten to step out of your comfort zone, you need not to fear man, this is your rights to search for truth. Just maybe one day-you will finely find your calling in God; if you pray to THE FATHER In your secret place, I know He will be listening to your prayer, just don't be afraid to take your first step; the Lord see's everything, He will be watching you. I wouldn't be focusing upon God's Name so much, it's not important, you need to focus upon Jesus, God gave all authority to Jesus, no other Name above nor beneath or on Earth can save you, only Jesus can You JW's can call out to Jehovah; but you won't be receiving any results in Jehovah's name. Only in Jesus Name will save you. With a little help to get you started; begin with searching the net: you will find your answers there. Yahweh name for the God of the Israelites, representing the biblical pronunciation of “YHWH,” the Hebrew name revealed to Moses in the book of Exodus. The name YHWH, consisting of the sequence of consonants Yod, Heh, Waw, and Heh, is known as the tetragrammaton MaxInDHouse: |
I read the English bible; and I answer to God, Lord or Father 'just as my King James is written, I am not interested in Names, it is far more important to know God through faith in Jesus Christ, than trying to figure out the correct pronunciation of God's Name: but in saying this, In conclusion, it is highly unlikely that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of YHWH. if you choose to call on Jehovah: that's your choice: When you a stuck Max: you will try anything-I will accept every Word that is written in my bible-if Jacob, Judah, Joseph, Joshua, Jonathan, Jerusalem, Jeremiah, Jonah, John, Jesus, James, Judas, is written in my bible I will accept: but since the name Jehovah is not written in my bible I don't accept: besides in the 1611 bible Jesus's name didn't begin with a J-but a I, Iesus. So all these other names you have written down would have began with a I. So Iehovah spelling is correct. The Hebrews and the Greeks recognized God with names such as YHWH, EL, ELOHIM, ADONAI. (Hebrew); THEOS KURIOS (Greek) are the correct names given to God. Jehova began 700 years ago by a Roman Catholic monk: and over 200 years ago the Watchtower had added the ending "H" and called God Jehovah.. So the bottom line is Jehovah is a 200 year old name given by the Watchtower.. But when I address God, I call Him by His Name: God, Lord or Father, and He answers.. Now who's being deceived? Max MaxInDHouse: |
You added the name: Jehovah: the scriptures don't mention Jehovah as God's name in those verses: so obviously you are reading your bible from the NWT version: where in fact the name Jehovah are not seen in any other bible . Plus Iehovah was the correct spelling, No J, after the Watchtower printed the King James on there press, 4 verses were added given the name Jehovah as God's title, and if we look at the 1611 King James Iehovah was the correct spelling-not Jehovah. You need to study up Max before you caste those stones. you will always try to lie against the truth, no matter what the subject is.. MaxInDHouse: |
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! {Deuteronomy 6;4, Mark 12;29} And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. {Deuteronomy 18:19} “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. {John 17:6} And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”{John 17:26} “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me . {Isaiah 43:10} None of these scriptures can prove His name is Jehovah. Maybe in the Hebrew Language His Name is either YHWH, Adonai El, Elohim, but I don't see Jehovah.. I tell you the truth, you have been lied too, you are not God's servants, matter of fact you don't believe in the fact One must be Born Again before he can enter into the Kingdom of God: so obviously that leaves out the Jehovah witnesses: because of their disbelief. Iehovah was the correct spelling, from the 1611 bible, Jehovah Has the wrong spelling, it was over 700 years ago, when a Roman Catholic Monk wrote Jehova claiming this is now God's name. But in the English version, God's Name is God, Lord or Father. God still answers to these Names. MaxInDHouse: |
When I am looking at my bible, God's name is God or Lord or Father-Jesus's name is Jesus or Lord or the Son of God: in Hebrews Jesus is addressed as God by God: the Holy Spirit is always the Holy Spirit: these are the names I myself recognize in the English language: So when I address them, I am addressing them by their Names that are written in my bible.. Because of this: I still have contact with God through Word and dreams. God haven't put a barrier upon me because I don't call Him Adonai or Elohim or El, or YHWH, I call God just the way it's written in my bible, and I still receive answers. In Hebrew or Greek they understand God in their languages, the Hebrew name for God YHWH was pronounced. Some prefer “Yahweh” (YAH-way); others prefer “Yehowah,” “Yahuweh,” or “Yahawah”;. In terms for “God” and “Lord,” including El, Elohim, and Adonai (Hebrew); and Theos and Kurios (Greek), these are people from the other side of the world, people with different languages, where in fact I don't speak their language, all English speaking bibles Call Him God, Lord, Father, the Son of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. But all in all, in every bible God's Name is addressed as God-Lord, Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, everybody uses these Names when they are addressing them to the world-even the JW's,do it, they address God as Jehovah-yet they still call Him God. So it doesn't matter what we call God-what matters, do we believe He exist. I don't focus upon God's Name, it is far more important to know God through faith in Jesus Christ, than it is to know the correct pronunciation of His name. |
No one said; anything about the disciples not calling God Father, I call God my Father as well. I was preferring to Jesus, He calls His God Father. You don't call Him Father-you call Him Jehovah. But of course you go straight into denial; you haven't the slightest idea, what the scriptures tells you, but the truth is, it doesn't make any sense, stay with the Watchtower comics, they seem to make more sense to you. Why don't you ask Jehovah to rescue you: and since you believe Jesus and Lucifer are brothers-then why not ask his brother Lucifer to call out to him, so you will know what time his coming. MaxInDHouse: |
it doesn't matter Jesus always preferred Lord God as His Father. Jesus never preferred to his Father as Jehovah: {Deuteronomy 6:4} “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! {Mark 12:29} Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one {John 20:17} Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ” {John 20;17} Is obviously the verse you always use; and you still can't see, Jesus calling God His Father. I don't see Jesus calling His Father Jehovah, Jehovah's name isn't there. But you call the Fathers name Jehovah: when in fact Jehovah's name is not in any of the verses you have given me. "So who's the fool 'now: max.. MaxInDHouse: |
It was the time the Watchtower were printing the King James-they slip in Jehovah's name in the bible. and they delivery made a spelling mistake-it's wrong, they added a J instead of an I, they managed to change a few verses adding the wrong spelling-they added Jehovah's name: not iehovah-Lucky the Watchtower printing press was closed down. We would be all in trouble: fancy this, none of us would have known the truth. and iehovah name as you can see in the 1611 bible, began with a I not a J. "IEHOVAH" in the 1611 KJV Bible {Exodus 6:3} And I appeared vnto Abraham, vnto Isaac, and vnto Iacob, by the Name of God Almighty, but by my name IEHOVAH was I not knowen to them. {Psalms 83:18} That men may knowe, that thou, whose name alone is IEHOVAH: art the most High ouer all the earth. {Isaiah 12:2} Behold, God is my saluation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord IEHOVAH is my strength and my song, he also is become my saluation. So Janosky what you are telling me you believe in iehovah with the wrong spelling jehovah-you need to do more study Janosky-before competing with bible believers, who studies up their history. Janosky believes in the unknown god-only the Watchtower prefer to call their god Jehovah with the wrong spelling. Janosky: |
Jesus said; when you pray, pray this Our Father who art in Heaven-does this prayer ring a bell. Jesus spoke of His Father-always. The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit, I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me: So Jesus preferred to God 'as Father. Not Jehovah, but Father MaxInDHouse: |
Again you choose not to listen to the scriptures. MaxInDHouse: |
Read the scriptures? if you are gain. MaxInDHouse: |
I have already got you pinned down, with plenty of evidence: as time has past, you still haven't learnt the scriptures. Janosky: |
But the name of Jesus's God was not Jehovah: Jesus preferred to God's Name as Father. Janosky: |
Maybe if you studied a little, you too can find out facts. Janosky: |
This is truly the sign of madness. Janosky: |
You can't help yourself, you are writing random scriptures: that has nothing to do with your conversation? You are on drugs aren't you. Janosky: |
He is right about the witnesses, the Watchtower began from the Freemasons which are connected to the Catholic Church. Janosky: |
You are still out of order: your brain is not functioning properly' Janosky: |
No one is interested in Watchtower literature, it's no good arguing over something you haven't the slightest idea about, The form Jehovah, though, is very commonly used. It is used in the King James Version of the Bible {Genesis 22:14; Exodus 6:3; 17:15; Judges 6:24; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4} So with all the bibles that is written around the world: Jehovah's name is written Just in a few verse in the old King James bible. It is also used, and strenuously promoted by, the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Jehovah’s Witnesses emphasize the use of Jehovah to the extent that any other name or title for God is viewed as borderline idolatry or outright heresy. Of course they would? Janosky believes what the Watchtower teaches, it's true? He believes the Watchtower is chosen by Jehovah himself. The vast majority of Jewish and Christian biblical scholars and linguists do not believe “Jehovah” to be the proper pronunciation of YHWH. With all of that said, it is not crucial to the Christian faith for the proper pronunciation of YHWH to be known. Both the Old and New Testaments, inspired by God, use generic terms for “God” and “Lord,” including El, Elohim, and Adonai (Hebrew); and Theos and Kurios (Greek). If the authors of Scripture, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, were allowed to use these terms, it is not wrong for us to refer to Him as “God” or “Lord,” either. It is highly unlikely that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of YHWH. Argue as mush as you like-the Watchtower is wrong, it's just another lie you have chosen to spread, a lie you choose to believe once again Janosky. I would rather listen to the experts, who study God's Word-then listen to a cultist organisation, that find it difficult 'to tell the truth in all circumstances. {Psalm 101:7} He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. Nothing that comes out of your mouth has any truth within, you are full of deceit and lies and it don't interest any of us-I am convinced your brain does not function well, it's out of order: Janosky: |
You are doing it again, writing down random verses, are you are stoner, you can't seem to keep up with the times. Now I am not convinced you actually know what you are talking about, and since you don't search the scriptures like most believers prefer to do, just maybe anytime you fill like straighten up a little, tell your demonic spirits to hush-and then you may wonder why you are arguing over scriptures, you really haven't got a clue about. Why don't you try and prove the Lord and God doesn't exist, But Jehovah does-instead of beating yourself up, over scriptures you haven't the slightest idea what they all mean. Janosky: |
No-I believe there are plenty of believers out there sitting in Churches today: waiting on the Lord: to separate the tares from the wheat, the sheep from the goats. There's a time and a place for everything: Many of us spend the comforts of home mediating on the Word of God Day and Night. Praying, thanking God daily learning and studying His Word: as watchmen we are watching the times and the seasons, for that great Day of the Lord. You learned nothing from the scriptures I had written down: you believe in obeying the traditions of men, rather then God Himself. This is why: I myself would never dream off walking away from the Word of God, to follow after another gospel: like yours. I don't follow tradition of men.I follow God.. MaxInDHouse: |
What has {John 20:17} got anything to do with what I have written? You are totally bent.. Janosky: |
In the Hebrew Scriptures, the name of God is recorded as YHWH. So, where did the name “Jehovah” come from? Ancient Hebrew did not use vowels in its written form. The vowels were pronounced in spoken Hebrew but were not recorded in written Hebrew. The appropriate vowel sounds of words were passed down orally. As a result, when ancient Hebrew is studied, scholars and linguists often do not know with absolute confidence how certain Hebrew words were pronounced. This particularly becomes an issue when studying the Hebrew name of God, written in the Hebrew Scriptures as YHWH, also known as the tetragrammaton. Despite much study and debate, it is still not universally agreed upon how the Hebrew name for God YHWH was pronounced. Some prefer “Yahweh” (YAH-way); others prefer “Yehowah,” “Yahuweh,” or “Yahawah”; still others just like the JW's argue for “Jehovah.” The form Jehovah, though, is very commonly used. It is used in the King James Version of the Bible {Genesis 22:14; Exodus 6:3; 17:15; Judges 6:24; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4} It is also used, and strenuously promoted by, the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Jehovah’s Witnesses emphasize the use of Jehovah to the extent that any other name or title for God is viewed as borderline idolatry or outright heresy. ![]() With all of that said, it is not crucial to the Christian faith for the proper pronunciation of YHWH to be known. Both the Old and New Testaments, inspired by God, use generic terms for “God” and “Lord,” including El, Elohim, and Adonai {Hebrew} and Theos and Kurios {Greek} If the authors of Scripture, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, were allowed to use these terms, it is not wrong for us to refer to Him as “God” or “Lord,” either. In conclusion, it is highly unlikely that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of YHWH. Further, it is far more important to know God through faith in Jesus Christ, than it is to know the correct pronunciation of His name in Hebrew. Janosky you can believe what you want to believe. typical JW believe everything the Watchtower tell them, without even studying to see if what they tell them is true. The net is a open door: and news travels in all directions. Janosky: |
You have given me these verses: why? {John 20:17 & Revelation 3:12,21} they don't match up to anything? This happens all the time with JW's, when we, write down scriptures, we, then explain there meanings, but you JW's don't, you return to us scriptures that doesn't line up with anything. Those verses above have nothing to do with the subject: we have written about, you really haven't a clue about the scriptures, you just look up any verse and start writing them down, you don't even know why you are writing them down, let alone how to explain them. But this is quite common within the Watchtower: with all the elders I have sat down with, sharing the scriptures, they do it all the time. Once they know someone knows the Word, they jump from one verses to another: and the conversation we had doesn't even make sense any more. This is obviously a sign-from God warning us true believers that the Watchtower is full of religious people who haven't the slightest idea who God is. Janosky: |
You write lies about people, and when asked about them you refuse to answer. Well maybe if you would answer all our questions: maybe then you will receive the answers from us. You can argue as much as you like: but the Governing apostles didn't belong to the Watchtower: No the Apostles stood outside in the court yard of the temple, after witnessing about Jesus, they took people to their homes, baptizing them. the Pharisees didn't agree with the teaching Jesus taught, nor would they allow the disciples teach: so where else could they go, from house to house they had home Church, they also met together on the streets. {Hebrews 13:7-17} Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you, None of the chapters you gave me, {Hebrew 13;7-17, Act 2:42, 1Corinthains 16:19; Philippians 4:22; Hebrews 13:24; Titus 3:15} say: we must worship in temples. Homes yes, but not temples-and we always respect our authorities-those who preach the Word of God. {Acts 5:42} Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah. {Acts 2:46} With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart The Holy Spirit didn't fall upon the disciples in a temple, it was in someones Home Don't forget the temple vile was spit in two from top to bottom when the Holy Spirit left the scene, after Jesus was crucified. Jesus made away that the Holy Spirit was given to those who have chosen to believe.. I have found over the years many different religions prefer to use the Old Covenant Law, for gain: twisting it, selling God's Word for money. especially when using the tithing lie "now you can stay under the Old Covenant: your choice-and come under Moses Tabernacle-sacrificing daily and paying your tithe: and don't forget to stone your children while you are at it, and obey the 613 laws God had in place for those who were led by God's hand out of Egypt, Or you can come under the Covenant Jesus made with His disciples: This is the New Covenant it's the promise that God makes with mankind that He will forgive sin and restore communion with those whose hearts believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant, and His death on the cross is the basis of the promise. He defeated death by His resurrection and restored life for those who believe in Him. {John 3:16} “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." {Luke 22:19-20} And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. So we are under the New Covenant: we are no longer under the Covenant God made with Moses and Aaron: Jesus may have been born under the Law: but He made His New Covenant for us to obey: I don't deny the old testament, matter of fact I really enjoy reading it: but it was our tutor that brought us to Christ, now Christ has come, we are no longer under that tutor. {Galatians 3:25} The Lord explained the old Covenant law and then under his New Covenant Law-He changed it. {Matthew 5:44} Pray for those who hurt you. “You have heard that it used to be said, 'You shall love your neighbor', and 'hate your enemy', but I tell you, Love your enemies .. See: He changed the Law. So which Covenant do you obey: obviously the Old Covenant. you hate us with a passion: you are no different to the Pharisees, they hated Jesus and the disciples: to a point of stoning them to death and crucifying. Max you need to search the scriptures when finding anything out concerning Jesus-you need to stop playing the fool by Twisting scriptures-none of them chapters you gave me lined up with your temple theory-you need to study-stop listing to elders who haven't the slightest idea about Word: you know Max it's by there fruit we recognize them: This is what we see in your fruit -we recognize you as a hater against us.. And why do we prefer to have Home Church? Look around you: the Lord is separating the sheep from the goats. MaxInDHouse: |
Max you are wrong Jesus didn't only go into the temples worshiping God: Jesus ministry was everywhere; He went into the temples to read the scriptures: the Pharisees hated Him doing that, Jesus spent most of His teaching everywhere other then the temple: matter of fact Jesus didn't follow the Pharisees tradition: the Pharisees were disobeying God, they were not obeying God's Laws and Commandments, nor were the Pharisees staying under the Covenant God made with them. The Pharisees actually turned there backs on God, they were worshiping other gods. Which of course are demonic activity. {Ezekiel 8;15-16} Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east. So if you believe Solomon's temple was where Jesus worshiped his God throughout his life! Which is not true. then if you are to follow His foot steps, then you aren't reading the scriptures proper. Rightfully speaking with all the crimes going on in your organisation. I have got to ask? which god do you and your elders worship? "Now it's understandable why Jesus said: to the Samaritan Woman “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. |
