Animes are also represented in Tv shows, so they have every right to post such here since the anime they post, is serialized. it does not constitute as derailing. Going by this your logic, we might as well go and open thread for every medium or genre of Tv shows.

There are people posting movies here and whatnot, save your energy for those.

Austin Butler doing good for himself too with upcoming movie from Darren Aronofsky after wrapping work with Dennis Villeneuve on DUNE PART TWO.

Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney just showed their star power with a rom-com (Anyone But You grossing $219mn on a $25mn budget) becoming successful worldwide, what's a rarity in the past 5 years. Headlines TWISTERS remake this summer.

Sydney just got off another success with IMMACULATE with good reviews too and co-produced herself with a fat paycheck. Powell is also gearing for another Netflix produced action movie in HITMAN with stellar reviews so far which he also produced.

Zendaya just got off a high from DUNE PART TWO and currently has CHALLENGERS in theatres.

Jenna Ortega just got off from a widely successful SCREAM movie as well as the lead in WEDNESDAY TV show with sequels in devt for these projects. I'm hearing she's getting approached for projects which I haven't caught up on yet sha. A major role in WB's upcoming BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE too.

The only ones I'm not so sure or up to date about latest projects in their slate are Florence Pugh and Jacob Elordi.


So man if THR says this I got every right to believe them cos I've been following the careers of almost all of these actors and observed their trajectories.
The list could be missing a few names which I'm at a loss to remember who's supposed to be on that list who isn't, but it's solid.

Half of them have at least 2-3 upcoming projects already if I remember correctly and at least with a well respected director. Glen Powell alone, the number of projects I'm seeing his name in the past few months ehn, I dey fear. Dude is taking the industry by storm. Same as Paul Mescal.

The only name I'm surprised not seeing on that list is Barry Keoghan.

Only 2 or 3 at most on this list, gets regular starring role here and can be considered truly A list.

I am still seeing Oldies like Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Emma Stone still star in movies this year ahead on these youngies, i even saw George Clooney and Brad pitt in one new movie ad recently. So when will these supposed young a listers take over? Considering some of them are already well into their 20s.

Godzilla -1 5/10.

i wonder why the Japs were gatekeeping this, so much like it was a masterpiece, when it's just a regular Godzilla flick, moreso so it was more a melodrama of a Kamakaze pilot suffering from survivor's guilt who can't sort out his feelings, than an actual Godzilla movie cuz I could count how many times, the actual thing the movie is named after was shown on screen.

The Editing and Plot pace was a mess, they could have cut all the drama, and spare us the long runtime of 2hrs, like you can just skip to the third act, cuz that's where there is small action, and you wouldn't miss a thing, if for anything, you will be saved from sitting through a tedious boring 1st and 2nd act, Like i came to see Godzilla smash shii up, not sit through unnecessary drama, like wtf?. The acting was piss poor too, it was like they just gathered a bunch of amateur actors. i have seen better acting from the Japs, and i didn't expect this kind of acting going by the way the movie was hyped.

i also think the CGI for Godzilla was overcooked because what the hell was that massive BBL bunda, that Godzilla was packing??

Okay flick, at least better than the Godzilla movies, Hollywood have been churning out for a while now, but forgettable really.

Civil War 2/10

This was a snooze fest that had no bearing, the trailer made it seem as if it was a kind of action packed "The Purge" regen, instead it was just a bunch of wartime photo journalist just cruising through America in a scenario that looked more like a gang scuffle than an actual war. No background story why the war even take place, just these bum characters taking pictures of people shooting, with a stupid motive to go to the white house and take pictures of the president my,like the plot line was so rubbish. They slapped Jesse Plemmons on the trailer and this brother was just in one scene!. There's is a story in there, about how America is divided now and all that, but they told the story in the most boring way ever. The film is just so pretentious and too artsy for my liking. There is a reason why Neon has overtaken A24 as the new King of Indie. please avoid this movie.

I am being realistic, and i see the matter in plain black and white. So realistically i feel there is nothing that can be done from complaining that they put these stuffs in their movies. It won't solve anything. So what are your options? You are going to plan a boycott of their movies? I don't think Hollywood really has the Nigerian audience in mind when they make movies, so they won't bat an eyelid if they loose audience here considering like 90% of people here pirate their movies, so the financial gains from here on their movies is paltry at best. Stage a protest from Oshodi, so that Movies that is made in far away America should stop putting unholy content in their movies? Sign online petition?? None of these solutions even remotely looks realistic.

The media is a powerful tool and the realistic thing to do is to police what media you consume, but if you have a better suggestion, i am all ears.

One thing is for sure... They know most part of the world is accustomed to Hollywood movies and they also know some countries are not so popular with this gay stuff (They know alot of Africans frown at it even though it's normal for them over there) but because we are already accustomed to their movies for other reasons, they try as much as possible to incorporate it (homosexuality) more in their movies in order to get to us, because we ARE ALREADY USED TO WATCHING HOLLYWOOD MOVIES FOR OTHER REASONS... and it's almost impossible not to watch Hollywood movies.

They're just making use of the media to push the lifestyle further.
Any gay scene is carefully planned and targeted to stir up emotions and normalize to a wider audience.

You've been expecting a movie you feel would be a bluckbuster and a must see... They chip it in (intentionally) and you're forced to watch the movie and try to accept that part (irritating gay part) because it's a movie you've been looking forward to... And not because of the gay part, of course

I like the house that I am living in and i have grown accustomed to it, but if my landlord decides to start doing shady things that goes against my morals in his house, i have two choices, either i pack out if it really infringes on my morals or i learn to live with said shady things, either ways, I can't really police what my landlord does with his property.

So just as you've been accustomed to Hollywood, you can as well unaccustom yourself if the gay isshh bothers you that much, and just face Nollywood or Bollywood.

If you like Hollywood and you can't do without it, better stop whinging and swallow anything they give you.

"Shove" is such an oxymoronic term to use in this context. I have never heard of a hetero to gay conversion therapy or camp, but there are gay to hetero conversion camps. If you lot studied history well, you know gay people have been here all along, there are well documented evidence of gay men living in the North,in the 70s and 80s, that were hiding in plain site, but because of how religiously tensed the subject was, they just had to repress it, and feing hetero to please their community, didn't stop them from being super gay.

It's very easy to just stop consuming Hollywood content going forward to avoid the whole thing altogether and save yourself the trouble of accidentally coming across gay content, cuz trust me, they are not going to stop, because you are angry about it and the main issue here is that, you can't infact avoid Hollywood movies, and you can't police them on what stories they decide to tell, so the ball is totally in your court. You can't eat your cake and have it.

People who are actually afraid of the influence on these content on themselves or their children, know what to do, they have filters and parental controls to make sure they never come across such content, and they don't start moaning every market day to Hollywood to stop such content because they know how futile it is.

Finally, If seeing a thief makes you wanna be a thief, then you might be a thief afterall, and just needed a little motivation, so if seeing Gay content on movies or shows, makes you think it has an influence on your hetero state, you might be super gay after all and just don't know it yet.

I never really get the point of wanting a second space on a device, especially in a entry level device. The stress of even moving between spaces already bore me. Probably why the OEM have started removing it on these devices as it isn't exactly a deal breaker.

Prices for the redmi 13 note series lol. The mid range spec and mid range prices are so far apart now because this is still sporting the same processor from it's predecessor with very minimal changes and the base version is starting above 200k?? 😬😬. I knew this day would come, like small something on top that 205k, some 5-6 years ago could get you a base flagship from the Galaxy S line, now it is only getting you the lowest base of a low mid range line up. Not that i blame Xaiomi tho, It's the Naira that has taking considerable beatings over the years.

I fear more people will be pushed to get used devices with fairly decent specs now, than buying a device that sports the Snapdragon 685 for above 200k in 2024 😩

I'm watching star wars. My favorite movie is Star Wars The Force Awakens. It was the greatest part of star wars for me because of Harrison Ford. I liked his acting and character very much. Moreover, I was amazed by the Proffie lightsabers used by the characters. This is what makes this movie more exciting and phenomenal.

This kind of spam post amazes me, like what's your affinity with lightsabers?? It's 2024, better go and learn a new format and retire this dead one.

I didn’t think much could surprise me after watching the peach scene in call me be your name, 2017 but this was a discovery. It tested the limits of my imagination.

I can’t even rate because I am unsure what to rate it.

People who are "screaming" that "Saltburn" is weird or "Make sure you are not eating when seeing it" probably need to see more movies because it isn't even a Top 20 weird movie material if that kind of list is ever made.

I went in waiting to see all the hype on how disturbing it was only to find out, it is a pretty straightforward "normal" movie to an average cinephile and that left me a bit disappointed.

A watchable movie with severe, interesting actions, unexpected twist, and funny comic reliefs. In addition, impressive actings from Jason Statham and Megan Fox.

But I'm still trying to wrap my heads around how Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) and Gina (Megan Fox) had sex with Gina fully clothed in a bikini, not neglecting the fact that when they started their love making she wasn't putting that on, only to miraculous being clothed with such. It is part of the internal storage now probably why you can't see it. Just pull it out and format using a PC or another device.
