Why must it be the CAN president - a man who should be the symbol of Christian values devoid of scandals injurious to his faith and position?

However, city councilor, Ganief Hendrickshas stated that plans to shut down the mosque have nothing to do with its liberal stance. He stated that Hargey had converted the building from a warehouse to a mosque, without considering the health and safety implications. He also said that the building violated violated municipal by-laws by not having any parking spaces.

However, Hargey insists that the city council wants to close down the mosque due to its desire to maintain a “theological monopoly.”

“This mosque is based on the original mosque in Medina with one door where men and women come together to pray.

“I want my mother, wife, daughter to pray alongside me. Not be second class citizens. They pray together at Haj, why can’t they pray together in the mosques of the world?”

So how come we've not heard any word of commendation or support from APC's Liar Muhammed for the Nigerian military for the successes recorded in the war on Boko Haram in the past 3 weeks?

Why is APC quick to condemn but slow to commend even on an issue that bother on national security and the safety of Nigerians?

The abducted “Chibok girl” released on Wednesday is “pregnant and mentally ill”, national chairman of Chibok association, Dr Pogu Bitrus, has told TheCable. Earlier on Thursday, the police revealed that the 20-year-old girl was abandoned by suspected terrorists at Mubi in Adamawa state from where she was picked up. It also confirmed that she was one of the female pupils of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state, abducted in April by Boko Haram. However, Bitrus said it was still uncertain if the girl was from Chibok because her name did not correspond with any of the names in the records of the girls that were captured by Boko Haram on April 14. “I was speaking Kibaku to her, but she did not respond; she was incoherent,” he said. “She may be having mental issues as a result of trauma.” Bitrus added that preliminary tests – still not definitive – indicated that the girl is pregnant. “When she was picked up, she was taken to a clinic, not a standard hospital, and tests were carried out on her,” he said. “From the tests, it was said she is pregnant, but that is still in the speculative domain because a qualified medical doctor has not confirmed that she is pregnant. “However, we are still trying to establish if really she is from Chibok because from our sources, the last name of the released girl does not tally with the surname of the person bearing the first name of the released girl captured in our recoords and whose father is a carpenter at Chibok.
