Unfortunately I couldn't go to Angola as the Embassy in Abuja said I needed an invitation from someone in Angola for my visa application. Sadly, I know no one there, so I just traveled to the other listed counties and flew back home.

How exactly is it unacceptable? Did they tell you initially you'll get your passport within a particular period? When you sent your passport there, you committed automatically to their holding it for as long as it took to get the visa.

It seems nobody knows how to reach Accra IRCC on phone. So, is over 60 days of passport submission still within their timeline of processing? I have sent several mails for them to return my passport whether stamped or not but without any response. How can they just seize the passport for over 2 months now and nobody seems to know how to go about this ? This is crazy and totally unacceptable.

Yes, on VFS global tracking link, it says it has been forwarded to IRCC since 25th August 2023.

Normally, this process no suppose pass 2 months. But I don't know what is happening to mine. No ADR and no counterfoil. Is there anyone here whose case is as old as mine?

If you can pray, keep praying. I submitted mine since 18th of August and it was transmitted to Accra Visa office on 25th of August. Till date I am yet to get counterfoil or any update. My flight ticket is for 25th of this Month.
I am trusting God for a miracle!

@Brownmannie, Have you tried using the webform? I also submitted mine to Accra about 3 weeks ago and havent heard back. I tried reaching out to VFS Lagos because the tracker isnt really helpful. VFS Lagos told me it was at the embassy and there was nothing they could do.

I am asking those who know the process not a guess like yours.

Bro I don't think there's any need to 'escalate' or get so worked up; trust me I've been there. I didn't get counterfoil update till around 8 weeks after submission. Sent several emails/webforms but got no response. Just try to take your mind off it and start focusing on other things that'll make it easier for you to settle in the new land (for me it was Coursera, general research about job prospects in my desired fields, amongst other things). If you're a man of faith, don't forget prayer too! Hang tight, it will come eventually💯
