Travel › Re: Do You Flaunt Or Hide Your Nigerian Passport When Travelling? by Btruth: 3:07pm On Jul 01, 2013
Of-course I flaunt it. It's my country & I'm proud of it. I'm always ready for both the immigration & custom, both here & there........ I have nothing to worry about and if any of them have a problem with me or my green passport, well, tough!

Proudly Nigeria! I know we will get there one day.

FlirtyKaren: another picture
...............& why is she so untidy? Haba! How does she expect the Holy Ghost to minister to the people in such a manner? God have a mercy. I don't stand to criticize her though, because we can never say who is God's anointing though.

RIP Senator.......

But we must all know that DEATH is the only sure thing for everyone. But, what we should be concern about most is where are we spending our eternity...... Consider the story below, a true life story though.

A pastor was traveling last week, he saw an old man, and gave him a lift. While they were going, the old man said; my son, do you know what happened in Heaven last night?

The pastor was so terrified and hurriedly parked and asked; Sir, are you sleeping? How did you get the information about Heaven?
The Old man said; last night in Heaven God became very angry with man and asked the Angels to blow the trumpet. The angels picked up the trumpets and as they were about to blow it WHEN, Jesus fell down and began to plead in tears. The blood that came out of His hands and body were very fresh. He told God that His death shouldn't be in vain.

God couldn't stand the pains of the saint and the wickedness of the evil ones. So He said; "I AM GIVING THEM THEIR LAST CHANCE."

Jesus then turned to the angels and told them to move down in their numerous numbers to tell the world that:
"THE END IS NEAR, JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON".

The pastor (sweating and crying) asked; sir, how did you know this?
The OLD MAN replied; I am one of the Angels sent
to the World.
Please use every medium of communication to send this message.
No time to waste, Please! And the old man disappeared.

Brethren, this story is real, Christ is coming Soon.
PLEASE SAVE A SOUL TODAY.
I Have done my part, it's now your turn to spread the Gospel.
No wealth can be compared to life everlasting in Heaven.
If you are Ready to share this Message, LIKE and write: "AMEN"
May God bless you all. AND DO NOT FORGET TO SHARE THIS POST

Foreign Affairs › Re: Nelson Mandela's Condition Worsens by Btruth: 1:12pm On Jun 27, 2013
Lordave: They are just doing him more harm, wasting a lot of money on him. Since it's obvious he ain't going to live past this year, why not allow the old man to pass on peacefully? You can never prolong death. Mandela needs eternal rest.
Death depends on God's appointed time. He alone only decides. It's not over, until it is over. Get well soon Mandela.

Supported. That is exactly what we need in this country. Though the National I'd card is equally important, but for the purpose of unemployment & benefits, such things like the (NI numbers as in the UK) social security number is very important.

Quaritch: Babafemi Ogundipe was the de facto Vice President of Nigeria during Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi's 1966 military government. He was born on September 6, 1924 to Yoruba parents from Ago-Iwoye, in present-day Ogun State in western Nigeria. He joined the Royal West African Frontier Force in 1941, serving in Burma between 1942 and 1945. He re-enlisted after the second World War, and rose to the rank of Brigadier in May 1964.
He served as the Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters Nigerian Defence Forces between January 1966 and August 1966. After the coup which overthrew Aguiyi-Ironsi, and following an agreement with the new military government led by Yakubu Gowon, he left the country for the United Kingdom, where he attended the 1966 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting as Nigeria's representative in September. Thereafter he took up appointment as Nigeria's High Commissioner in the United Kingdom, a post he held until August 1970, when he left public service. He died in London in November 1971.
He was criticized in some quarters for his refusal to take the mantle of office of his supreme commander, who had been murdered in the August 1966 coup, and that this aggravated the pogroms that eventually followed. He was the most senior military officer after the death of Ironsi, and the thinking was that he ought to have taken power himself. The fact is that this was not a viable thing for him to have done. He had no troops, and he was unable to rely on the few individuals available to him, many of whom were northern and were unwilling to take orders from a Christian southerner. Furthermore, he was basically a soldier and had no personal political ambitions. He understood that the preservation of Nigeria as one country meant that a southern Christian would be unable to hold the country together, and he took himself out of the power equation by accepting Yakubu Gowon (several years his junior) as the head of the new military government.
