Business › Have You Ever Been Cheated By The Foreigner Here In Nigeria? by Btruth(op): 5:48pm On Jun 22, 2013
As a Nigerian, have you ever been cheated in one way or another, maybe by working for the foreigners (as in, in their companies), or by supplying them materials or by doing any business with them? Many of these so called foreigners are here to defraud Nigerian, especially, the ones from the Asia countries (such as, Indians, Chinese & the Lebanese). I've not heard any good things about them.

- Have you ever been cheated by any of these crooks?

- What are your experience(s) with them?

- And what can be done to curb their various acts of cheating Nigerians?
Business › Have You Ever Been Cheated By The Foreigners Here In Nigeria? by Btruth(op): 5:04pm On Jun 22, 2013
It has come to my notice how some of the foreigners here in Nigeria are cheating some of us here, even on our soil. Many of such cases that I have heard are especially of the Indians, Chinese & the Lebanese.

Will it be proper for this people to just come and do anything they like and go away with it simply because they think our law enforcer will not do anything after all.

Have you ever fall a victim of any of them? How do you think Nigerians can deal with this kind of situations? Please share your experience(s), and what is the way forward?

yes, supported....what about a death warrant for GEJ himself for all the death that happened under his leadership? Who will be responsible for the death of young Timilehin at Ketu area just last week? It should be him, the IGP, the commissioner of Police in Lagos state & the station DPO. Living dead people in a clothes.

Mhweeee!

timi0103: This story brought tears to my already swollen eyes. Why all these hullabaloo? The NPF again......... This is just too pathetic.
Would justice bring back young Timilehin? There has to be an end to this. Also, a drastic measure must be put in place to curb the excessive drunkeness and aggressiveness of the police.

Little wonder; the popular Nigerian cliche "police is your friend" makes zero sense to the citizens. Is it about reforms, restructuring, apprehension or a better living for the NPF?
I honestly just hope all this reports are getting to the office of IGP & Mr President. Though, I know it might not make any sense to him, since he is busy throwing his weight around Gov. Rotimi Amechee & others that are against him. Let's wait and see what Ruben Abata (Abati) has to say this time around.......... bunch of idiots.
Politics › Re: Policemen In Lagos Killed A 9-Year-Old Boy And Fled by Btruth:
...............they don't need to run. Their sins will definitely catch up with them. Hope they have a families too? One thing is certain, they will never know peace again in their lives, both in their homes, at their work, even in their families. As they've brought sadness to this family, so will sadness goes ahead & behind them. Just because of N50 they want to extort from the commercial buses, they end up taking a life of a promising child.

I've always says that Nigeria Police Force needs to be scrap though, they are bunch of nuisance in the society. I think the society could do better without them. I could write on & on about so many of their atrocities, those that I know now & those that I have the records. There's nothing good to write home about them......nothing good to write.

Timilehin, it's just a pity that you have to die like this. I'm very sure you will be in the bosom of the Lord by now. Don't worry anymore about this wicked people, God will give your parents & siblings fortitude to bear this loss.

We are all living in a dead country anyway, it has never been better since their so called independent. All our leaders have been so useless....... I mean all the governing sectors, including all the ministry & their ministers.

There is absolutely nothing to write home about. Everything is just getting worse, the Police force, the educational sector, the health sector, the energy sector, the customs, all the roads are bad, so many things.

I honestly just hope that Jesus Christ will come & do rapture for Nigeria alone, if He's not ready for the rest of the world. Let Him just come & do Nigeria own now. The wahala is too much, even for us that are in a small scale business too, it has always been suffering & smiling.

Rest in peace Timi.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Is Surrounded By Professional Praise-singers - David-west by Btruth: 8:24pm On Jun 16, 2013
Adex097: G.E.Jonathan met with the Queen
of England. He asked her, "Your
Majesty, how do you run such an
efficient government?
Are there... any tips you can give
to me? I want to help Nigeria.
"Well,"the Queen replied, "the
most important thing
is to surround yourself with
intelligent people.
Jonathan frowned, and then asked, "But
how do I know the people
around me are really
intelligent?"
The Queen took a sip off her cup
of tea. "Oh, that's easy; you just ask them to
answer an intelligent riddle."
The Queen pushed a button on
her intercom. "Please ... send
David Cameron in here, would you?"
David Cameron walked into the room and said,
"Yes,Your Majesty?"
The Queen smiled and said,
"Answer me this please. David,
your mother and
father have a child. It is not your
brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"
Without pausing for a
moment, David Cameron
answered, "That would be me."
"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.
Jonathan went back home to ask N. Sambo, his
vice presidential
choice the same question.
"Sambo, answer this for me. Your
mother and your father
have a child. It's not your brother
and it's not your sister. Who is it?" "I'm
not sure, said
Sambo. "Let me get back to you
on that one..." He
went to his advisors and asked
every one, but none could give him an answer.
Finally, one night, he ran into
Ngozi iweala..
Sambo asked, “Ngozi, can you
answer this for me?
Your mother and father have a child and it's not
your brother or
your sister. Who is it?"
Ngozi Iweala answered sharply, "That's
easy, it's me"
Sambo smiled, and said,
"Thanks!" Then, he went back to speak with
Jonathan. "Sir, I did
some research and
I have the answer to that riddle.
It's
Ngozi iweala.
Jonathan got up angrily, frowning he said to
Sambo. No wonder
Nigeria isn't moving forward, I
don't have intelligent people
around me. !You Dummy! The
answer is David Cameron!!!!l...........
lol......O ga oooo......lol. Why won't it be David Cameron? David Cameron ko, Queen of England nii. He has chosen the like of Ruben Abati who changes from driving on the left hand side of the country to the right hand side as his Special Adviser. Let him sit down there till express will overtake him.

Politics › Re: President Jonathan’s Faulty Self-Assessment by Btruth: 7:12am On Jun 11, 2013
luvinhubby: I disagree with this particular punch editorial with the following personal reasons

- A substantial amount of the 10litres of fuel i bought last week Monday for my generator is still remaining after one week, normally lasts two days, reason being the up to 18hrs of power supply in my area at Ebute-metta Lagos.
- Travelled last month through Benin-Sagamu expressway & took me 31/2 hrs agains previous 5hrs because of the much improved road, especially the Ore-Benin section.
-I don not remember the last time i qeued to buy fuel in Lagos.
- Between 2008-2010 , my annual gross turn-over was between 3-4million naira, but between 2011-2013 grossed above 6m.
-Last time i went Abuja, the dualisation of Abuja-Lokoja highway was around Abaji
.
Agreed that more needs to be done, especially in the area of anti corruption, but considering the peculiar challenges of this administration, i will still score him above average.
Thanks for making us all know about your self achievement Mr Ajala travel. Meanwhile, we are not talking about the little selfish privilege folks like you here, we are more concern about the much numbers of ordinary nigerians that cannot even avoid a 2 meal a day in a country that is rated as one of the highest producer of crude oil in the world.

If Jonathan like, let him scored himself 120% on his paper scoreboard. But one things is certainly sure, 2 people cannot surely missed out on a lie. I will just advice him & his entourage to travel from Iyana-Dopemu via Iyana-Ipaja, Abule-Egba, Kola to Toll-gate to see how improved the Lagos-Abeokuta has been.

I'm very happy to hear that the electricity has so much been better in Abuja & its environs though, but what about other parts of the Country? Many artisans has so much deserted their various profession and turn to Okada riders, many have been so much frustrated to the level of turning to "Agberos" (tout). So, how is Mr President rating himself?

I will simply just advice Mr Jonathan or whatever he calls himself to pick a copy of Billy Clinton book titled " My Life: The Presidential Years" to read.

Business › Re: Reps Probe Banks For Malfunctioning Atms by Btruth: 8:26am On Jun 06, 2013
Welcoming idea though.

Imagine 2 banks serving 3-4 local govt in Oke-Ogun area. First Bank Plc & Skye Bank, both at Okeho are serving all the entire towns in the area with 3 ATMs of which 2 of the ATMs are faulty.

Imagine all the stress for all the business (even the individuals will needed their money) people in the area, especially for guys that travelled all the way from Lagos and other cities to do business, having transfer their funds to be used in this 2 banks.

I think even the bankers forum or something should do something about this or if possible, the customers should be encourage to go back on the counter to cash their money.

I personally witnessed for 2 days people queuing up for more than 5 hours without the ATM functioning. It is such a sad experience though.
