Poems For ReviewRe: Ibi-tunde(eclipse Of The Joy) by BTT(m): 4:21pm On Sep 23, 2015
amiskurie:
IBI-TUNDE (eclipse of the joy)

I am the season un-requested
I am the Willi-willie that lurks around you.
I am the shadow,I walk with you
I am that, who hung to destiny
I am the unwanted Angel.
I am that placenta uncut.
I am "Ibi-tunde,"the equalizer.

I am that you called august visitor
Yet,I came with you.
I am that, who live with you.
I am the spider-craft.
Yes! that art of mystery.
that, that dangles un-worried with your chandelier.
I am that rhythm that tickles sorrow.

Take one of those pathways,
Walk,hundred miles away.
Did you see the moon walk?
Jackson walks,so does the moon.
The day came,so shall the night.
Call me "Ibi-tunde,"
I am the eclipse of the joy.

Car TalkRe: Courtesy Or Right: Who Was Right And Who Was Wrong? by BTT(m): 4:08pm On Sep 23, 2015
I have seen Lagos BRTs with bold stickers inside them that read "ENTER WITH YOUR EXACT FARE". That should mean 'No change' in everyday English.

If we should borrow wisdom from this, it suggests that it is the responsibility of the service provider to state his terms.

Two, even if there's a law that says we must announce our financial status before boarding a transport, it is also a duty on the transporter to reiterate it in words or writing when dealing. Does the law not give you rights to remain silent when under arrest, yet you have it read to you. The courtesy/moral obligation is on the transporter to do so.

Three, do you walk into a shop/mall to buy with cash and worry about change for them? They are the ones into commerce and having plans for customers' needs should form a core of their business success. To not make this preparation, and pick an offence for a customer who demands it is disgraceful. This is usually the challenge with informal sector service providers; it is difficult for them to understand that what they sell.

Four, the customer is and must be treated as king. Even danfo drivers know that. It is the reason they can pick passengers anywhere but remind you there's no bus-stop at the same spot when you want to alight.

So, Mr Boyooosa, I am with you on this one, but stop arguing with semi-illiterates for your own good.

I want to be like Kingreign, Kashif and Gazzuzz when I grow up.

That Gazzuzz and his humour, no be here.

Kashif, this is very commendable. This must require a lot of determination and paying attention to details. The greatest challenge here for me would be the amount of time to be expended. Great work Kashif!

And btw, my regards to your understanding wife.

ICS Limited would like to bring to the public's attention that there is currently an employment scam fraudulently using our company's name.

I would like to see the UK government site where I can read this piece of denial.

I trust Nigerian politicians like I trust my throat to look after my meat.

Even the headline is misleading. It suggests the UK authority as the source of the information instead of one Mr Olaniyonu, who is a media aide to Mr Senate President.

ijustdey: .... Asked what would happen to the other policemen said to have been part of the incident, Offor said "... There is no way eight policemen could have fired a single bullet.
“But investigations are ongoing and if there is any complicity of any other policeman, we will do the needful,” he added.

... Musiliu, in an interview with the press, said he never had the intention of killing the victim...

He said, “It happened 12am in the night, and there were four of us on duty.."
Two. When this news initially broke, the name of the accused police officer was given as Valentine Telemundo, so how come the guy is now Musiliu?

I truly hope that our Police force have not swapped criminals.

Car TalkRe: Lexus 2003/4 RX 330, Infiniti FX35 OR Nissan Murano by BTT(m): 7:26am On Sep 19, 2015
My brother, once you pitch any auto brand against a Toyota in Nigeria, you should know where the odds are.

Even people who are yet to own theirs will tell you how admirable, say the G-Wagon is, but once you ask for their opinion on whether to BUY it, they are quick to ADVICE you on the Toyota/Lexus 'equivalent' to buy instead. It is one of the sad hypocrisies in our national daily lives.

I am a Nissan/Infiniti fan and have enjoyed premium Nissan technology in the Infiniti repeatedly. My choice will be the Fx anytime.

But you see, follow your heart and just make up your mind you promise to live with the consequences of that decision. It makes life easier.

'...the people we are prosecuting, are the courts dismissing them of corruption? Do w2 then say that when we have sufficient evidence to prosecute them we should leave them alone just because they are Mr President's enemies?'

Mr No 3 of the Republic, go and shame them!

Are you connecting with the Blackberry Email App or GMail App? If with the Blackberry Email App, then you need to ensure that you have selected SSL/TLS for the imap.gmail.com setting. Try that and let me know also what you currently have there as the security encryption type.
Have tried both. Imap port is 993 and the Encryption is SSL. SMTP port is 465 and Encryption is also SSL.

Refer to your BIS service package with your telecoms operator. Very possible the operator allows just one email account to be setup on the device as per what package you subscribed to. I hope this helps.
Thanks Sis.

I have always had 2 emails set up on it.

I at a time thought that might be the issue so I deleted everything so as to make it just this. Still didn't catch.
Christianity EtcRe: What Lessons Can You Learn From Sickness, Surgery, Etc? by BTT(m): 4:04am On Sep 18, 2015
As we speak, I have been indisposed for 2 days now. It is the reason I am awake now having slept for the most part of the day.

In sickness I have learnt that you can allay the fears of people around you by still making jokes even when you are shivering. It kind of loosen people up.

God, oh that you perfect my healing in Jesus name.
PhonesUnable To Create Gmail Account On Blackberry Z10 by BTT(op): 3:48am On Sep 18, 2015
I have been unable to set-up my Gmail account on my Blackberry Z10.

I have always had this same Gmail on it until recently when I lost my Android device and I decided to change the Gmail password. So, I deleted the account on my Z10 only for it to refuse being set up again.

Usually it returns with errors like: '...the imap.gmail.com path prefix is incorrect..' (note that I have never tampered with it), or '... the me@gmail.com/calendars/contacts/dav (something something like that) is unavailable at the moment. Try again later, or the server imap.gmail.com for your account (me@gmail.com) is not responding. Please check your settings and try again. I have repeatedly tried now for 10 days with little success.

I created a new Gmail and it set up fine. My office email was also set up on the Z10 fine. I created my old Gmail (the troublesome one now) on my wife's android device and it set up fine.

This thing is driving me nuts as I do not have ALL my contacts anymore.

I checked on Google devices logged to my account and it identified the Z10 as an unknown and unsecured application trying to access my account.

My case looks altogether new as there seems to be no information about this the net over.

Please help.

higher ground clearance. the sound system is out of this world..I have to be schooled in this area as the manual is not even helpful. I need a summary not a whole book just on the entertainment system. members of staff at work keep telling me "I have arrived"...I do not understand why. may be because its a status car.
so much engine power...wish to travel asap to have a feel of its max performance

.the temperature gauge is not fixed at half mark like my Camry and flunctuates between 80-100, but not more than 100 keep wondering if its going to overheat especially i n traffic. Fuel let's not go there......I definately buy more now...my trip to fuel station have increased by x2 to x3.
it is too old 15years, coming from an 03 and going back to 00...the newer the better.
bought new tyres...hmmm it is well

PoliticsRe: Ongoing Fight At Alaba International Market? by BTT(m): 5:09pm On Sep 15, 2015
MrOra:
1.Most people commenting here haven't even neared alaba the closest they've done is to go there buy something and leave. Please don't comment like you understand.
2. If yorubas and hausas hate/hated igbos so much why didn't they just let ojukwu and biafra be then? I'll never understand this because it's just sign of collective tyranny, I say collective because I have mostly yoruba friends and even though they always, always tease me about how useless igbos are, they still got my back in any fight. It seems like the hatred is perpetuated just because of pride, I AM YORUBA, THIS IS MY LAND. This is God's land please, the igbos aren't claiming it. I'm one of the people that find igbo political ambitions in Lagos stupid.
3. If you truly want people out, starring from alaba rago where hausa boys are collecting money from people to cross pako.
4. Don't you think it's really stupid to condemn xenophobic attacks in South Africa but support yoruba against igbo or vice versa or any other tribe in arms? Yorubas why didn't you support SA in those killings if you so much respect THIS IS OUR LAND.

I'm not judgemental, I hope I didn't sound judgemental. Most of the comments I saw here, same like I see everyday on NL brings tears to my eyes cause of the following reasons.
1. At this age, people with phones, knowledgeable, even religious people(Christians, Muslims, etc) , it's saddening that you can still support (no matter what side you're on) violence. Switch on your TV and go to CNN and see what war has done to families, even with these knowledge you still push for violence,... Oh.
2. My friends in school used to tease me a lot(I attended model college ojo, yea I used to live in alaba till recently), if you didn't asked for your change after buying something they'll yab you that igbo too like money, if nylon tear they'll say it's alaba fake igbotish rubbish, etc. I used to get bothered sometimes, my be cause I don't know who to get angry at, my friends or igbo people giving them reasons. Little did I know that I'm not igbo, long story short my dad is not my biological father,so those things they said we're in my blood cause I was igbo was just.... Irrelevant lies. These irrelevant lies we tell ourselves. Eg, igbos like money too much, brethren, think back to our past presidents, we're they corrupt? Oh the trillions they stole, how many were igbo? . People in 2015 shouldn't be swallowing these lies meant to create discord.

I went to unilorin for putme recently and I had to stay with a friend and he's grandparents at ogbomosho, nicest people on earth cause they respected me, tried to speak the little English they knew cause I've not fully learnt yoruba language. I can't wait to go back.

Take a cue from Hitler's Nazi and the Jews. It really doesn't help any side to quarrel.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
God bless you, bruv.
