Gilb231: Breakfast served this morning
Self sponsored application.
I am not satisfied you would leave Canada at the end of your study permit.
I submitted a fixed deposit certificate in my name of over CAD15,000. I explained in my SOP that this is where my living expenses would come from.
My personal bank statements with a closing balance of N1.5million after paying my school fees.
Employment letter
Study leave approval
Payment of my complete tuition and 6months health insurance (basically I don’t owe the school tillage end of my program)
Should I just buy GIC to re apply ? Maybe also add landed documents ?
Please GuRus help me What was the reason you were denied? Order your gcms notes so you will be able to tackle the issue because that is where you will find the visa officers main comcern. And refire again, you are almost there bro. |

mama12345: Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.
I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office, on the 18th of February 2022
IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing
Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got above.
@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"
Thank you @PatrickOkunima @olasubomy @mrprolifik @VIKKYIFE @Teemenzo @Time2soar1 @Predator188 who helped give me answers to my posts as well.
I even ordered for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but its still not out.
My Time Line
Submission/AOR 6th September 2021 Medicals Passed 25th October 2021 1st Ghost update November (Not sure of exact date) 2nd Ghost update 24th January 2022 3rd Ghost update 19th February 2022 Passport Request 21st February 2022
My application took a total of 168 days , 5months, 15 days. I DID NOT USE AN AGENT
God did it for me. I cannot thank God enough. It can only be God Congratulations ma'am, I'm very happy for you. Couple of days ago you were very worried, now God has done it for you. I pray he does it for me too My application eligibility is also "further review". It's not easy. |

Teekay20: Good morning everyone, please I was going through my sponsors account yesterday. The opening balance was 13m and there have been some times he had deposit of 1.6 1.5 1.6 but by November he got 5m into the account. Please is that 5m a lump sum and should I send a webform explaining that deposit or should I just leave it alone since the amount is not strange to the account. Thank you so much If the amount is not strange to the account then there's no need of raising webform to explain anything. Since it's a normal occurrence, you're good to go boss. |

Pls i have a question. I sent the webform and emails with respect to my previous visa refusals and error on the previous mail sent to only Nairobi because i had been doing follow up mails on my application and Nairobi sent me a mail that they are processing my application. That was why i sent to only Nairobi. Pls do i need to keep sending the webforms and emails daily. I mean webforms with respect to my previous visa refusals which i mistakenly didnt include in my form IMM1294e.
Kindly reply. Is there a way i can know they have recvd my mail and webform Don't keep sending them, they have probably received them already And it will be added to your application profile You have done all you can, just be prayerful and hopeful |

Halyshia: Good day house, please how many days will it take ircc to respond to webforms and emails, it’s been 6 months and my eligibility review hasn’t started ☹️ It would have probably started ma'am, maybe they just haven't updated it in your portal. Keep sending them webforms and email. Try ordering your gcms notes, it can help them Kickstart your application if they've left it somewhere. |

Chiziteremary: Ketima/Anon 123 pls can u answer me.
Pls i cant understand why i am making so many errors. I have sent the webform and email. Just realised what i sent has errors. I also had two USA refusals when i was still single and two UK refusals. I mistakenly sent only the Uk refusals but with the date for the US refusals and i didnt send the USA refusals while i was single. Honestly these refusals have been so long ago. It skipped my mind though i included a scanned copy of my passport with the stamped dates for both embassies.
Pls is there a way to recall the webform and the emails which i sent. Hello Please calm down, you can't recall webforms or email you have sent especially when you've gotten confirmation email or message from them. Please gather all the files and documents that can show tangible proof that you've been denied before, write a well detailed letter of explanation again and appeal to the visa officer that it was an oversight from you and you wouldn't want that error to determine the outcome of your application. Send it through webform and email again. Then pray seriously that info sharing has not been concluded on your application. It's in God's hands now ma'am. I'm rooting for you |

Dont know if it will make sense to order for gmc notes now as I am expecting that they will come up with a final decision soon. Anyways let's be hopeful.... I'm a lady btwn. My eligibility review also started on the 21st of december. You can order for your gcms notes, so they can Kickstart the application again if they've left it. You're are almost there ma'am, a little bit of positivity and prayers |

Please my agent made a mistake in my first application about my job role
Is it advisable to correct it in my LOE and write a short statement that “my first application was handled by my agent and he made a mistake about my job role, and that now I’m filing this application myself and I’m going to submit documents asserting my claim”
The company is owned by my uncle and the correct job tallies with my proposed masters

Please guys, I just collected my files from my agent and I noticed lots of inconsistencies in my application. Note: I was denied for only “purpose of visit”
Number of siblings in my sop do not tally with what is in the imm forms The company I used is not the same with the one in my sop. My uncle owns both company’s tho. but the one in the sop is different from the one that gave me sponsored leave with statements and CAC.
Should I make the adjustments in my next application or I should just go on with what he has used before because me I don confuse
Guys, please do your application yourselves. No one can put that seriousness like you |

Bhooomie: God is the greatest and He came through for me!!!
1st Application: 29th Jan 2021 Submitted with upfront medicals and NSE requirements. After sending several mails and webforms as well as applying for my GCMS notes on 16th of April. I received my notes on the 17th of May with the VO’s concern about having lumpsums in our joint account. Refusal: 27th May 2021 (Purpose of visit & personal assets and financial]
2nd Application: 31st May 2021 Background check started immediately and eligibility started on the 3rd of June. I noticed my Medical was not updated and sent a webform with my e-medical sheet. Medical passed: 25th June 2021 PPR: 30th June 2021

My special appreciation goes to God that made my dreams come to reality. He deserves all the glory. I also want to appreciate @JustMellow (gcmswriters) for his guidance and prompt approach in handling my LOE. I reached out to him when I received my notes thinking I could explain the lumpsums before a decision was made but refusal came some days after. JustMellow assisted in writing my LOE to address the financial concerns as well as reconstruct my SOP to address purpose of visit (studied engineering but going for business management course). God bless you and cause his face to shine upon you. Going for a 2yr PG certificate. Thank you to everyone for their selfless contributions on this thread. The advices, comments and testimonies kept me going even when it looked like all hope was lost. Thank you for the congratulatory messages. God bless you all.
PS: I was able to reapply 3 days after my initial refusal because I already had my GCMS notes and had addressed the concerns in my LOE. All PPR hopefuls will testify soon by God’s grace. Please how did you tackle “purpose of visit” as that’s the only reason I was denied And how do I get to just mellow Thanks |
