If he was serious he'd be organising his own investigation into the abduction and the circumstances of the rescue himself instead of making out he is so helpless and irresponsible.

That said, perhaps he wants to fund United Nations and international human rights organizations to investigate for him, which is commendable indeed, though I'd rather he use local talent.

She sounds like she is intelligently making sacrifices for the welfare and success of her daughter, who will eventually grow out of needing childcare and leave the mother with much more money.

It would probably be much harder if she'd remained in Kenya where she'd likely not have nor need the money for childcare but struggle regardless because she might not find a job that pays more than the 75 Canadian dollars she currently pays, which is likely half of what she earns in a day in Canada.
