Poor sods.

basilico:It was not an individual that sentenced the individual you are crying for. Hate speech is determined by the law! |
DMCY:Sir, this is the danger of market controls. You can not force a seller to sell at a loss. Come on, just think. What would you do if you go market to buy something to sell and someone tells you you must sell at a price that is less than what you paid for it or that is just not profitable enough for you? Is your business a charity, I would ask you. Market sellers are not tied to anyone market, and will take their produce to sell in the market that profits them. It is not their concern if you starve. They are not your papa or mama!
|
oluxy:I do know what association is causing. They are creating a monopoly in the market so only they can set prices, and in most countries that would be illegal. If Kabiyesi were serious, he would perhaps include the transport association that set transport prices too, but he hasn't, and has set price for the sellers alone. This is not a job for Kabiyesi, but a job for government. Thankfully, this very wise Kabiyesi has set the ball roiling so it has become a topic of discussion. In the end, some people will not be able to control a market that ought to be free. And that would hopefully include the market of wages too so workers get what they are worth. |
basilico:Educate yourself please. There is no right to bigoted false speech in UK.
|
basilico:I'm delighted that promoting hatred is already a crime. |
alphaNomega:I had over 20 mentions telling me off for not being pleased that Kabiyesi fixed my wages for growing my crops. I would have told them all to go read the very wonderful Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead, but I don't want to introduce them to the obnoxious (my opinion) Ayn Rand. It might make them understand that Kabiyesi does not own all the markets I can take my crops to go sell. |
alphaNomega:I agree. Now, we just need to understand that there is or there should be a free market in wages too, and tell government to go suck their 70k minimum wage. Especially now they've increased the judiciary's by 300%. https://www.nairaland.com/8184127/tinubu-okays-300-salary-rise |
alphaNomega:I do not complain when pump price of petrol goes up. https://www.nairaland.com/8174367/petroleum-scarcity-nnpcls-shady-deals#131312142 In fact, if I were to complain about anything, its that Nigerians accept such low wages! |
ayjay45:Please try both and come back to educate us. |
StillDtruth:Here. I'm reminded of you. https://www.nairaland.com/6319053/when-eve-charged-court-charges#97197951 |
One Kabiyesi fixed the price we must sell crops without first fixing the rain! budaatum: |
Babalegba:I'm going to limit my response to only you since you've expressed the the predominant support for Kabiyesi's price fix. You see, before Kabiyesi fixed the price of the crops I planted, Kabiyesi failed to fix the rain that I needed to grow the crops, and those crops, which I borrowed money that Kabiyesi failed to fix the interest of to plant, are now withering in the heat and are dying. And the little if any at all I can salvage from what I planted must now be sold to pay for the land and the labour and the loan plus the interest with some left over to feed me too. Can you perhaps now see why Kabiyesi's market might not be the market for me? Please see here that Kabiyesi did not first fix the rain. https://www.nairaland.com/8180492/farmers-howre-coping-drought#131420922 |
basilico:Musk did not interview dump and you know that. They sat there and jerked each other off. |
basilico:Asking Kamala to converse with Musk is like asking me to sit down with you because Bem sat down and played with your diq. Kamala is not Musk's friend and has no reason to want to converse with him. |
Your thread has virus!

The Council, at the meeting, directed that henceforth “vegetables should not be sold more than N50; pepper, pepper N100; garri N700; while kilogramme of meat should be reduced to N4,500.”Can someone please kindly inform kabiyesi that while its good that he has banned middle men who inflate prices, he has not exactly ordered that fertiliser be sold at uninflated prices, nor has he placed any control on land prices and labour and transport costs that contribute to the price of food in the market. And that if the prices he has ordered mean I sell at a loss, there are other markets where i can take my food to sell at a profit. |
StillDtruth:It must be difficult for you to understand that some people do more complex things than just sell land and buy food and pay salaries. Your lack of knowledge and unwillingness to self educate just shows you are not worth the space and time. |
StillDtruth:What is surprising is your ignorance is so much that you are not even aware of it. Sell land and buy food and pay salary are not the only things people do in life. Some build bridges and go to the moon or simply engage in complex investments. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_root https://unacademy.com/content/ssc/study-material/mathematics/how-square-roots-can-be-applied-in-real-life-situations/ |
abba09:Yea! But that's still asking for free prayer. Or do you think the milliseconds I divert to praying for you cost me nothing? Dude! You have seen for your self the uselessness of your own prayers that don't seem to have the ear of God, so pay make better person God padi pray for you jor to stop you hoping to reap where you have sown not! |
With inflation at 30%+, and currency devaluing at the rate it is, my N1000 plus 18.373% interest will not buy what it buys today. Note to self!
|
abba09:I do not believe it hurts you that people are insulting you and calling you names. You sit on your lazy ass praying for your daily bread instead of getting off your lazy ass and working for your daily bread. And to make it worse, you ask others to sit on their ass and pray for you without paying them! Dude, a worker must be paid. So pay and I will pray for you. |
ayjay45:Start at home. Kidnap one of your parents and ransom them to your siblings to learn the trade. Then would you be good to go in the wider outside world. Good luck. |
FRANCISTOWN:I am minded to inform you that you are attempting to discuss with an individual who thinks satan invented square roots and refused to learn because he knew already.
|
|
Kyrgiakos14:Of course I don't understand the point you are trying to make, lol. I've heard some claim God cures hunger. Have you tried calling on him? |
Obrigardo:There's bound to be what he'd call Rinos in his camp. They mustn't kill him though because I so want to see what he does when he loses. |
IyfeNamikaze:Delude yourself, why don't you. Theres is a reason Christ is written to have said there are many mansions, and go and be like a certain person who worshipped his neighbour.
|
Daily Mail readers are undumbing.
|
feedthenation:Dump campaign team did not obviously do that! That was done by Kamala's team (or was it the Iran team?) to mock dump. ![]()

Lifeofexpat:You don't have a baby. You get belle. Does he cover you in hijab so no one can see you? |
