“They simply want to kill knowledge and education in the country. They also want to kill the aspirations of parents to get their wards educated. It will mess up the education sector. Let them just leave the policy at 16 years.

‘’The world has changed and we must change with it. What do they want those who leave secondary school before 18 to do? The policy is simply not in tune with the reality of the times,” he stated.

They are about to pass a law that gives every illegal
Liar!

The bill’s author, Fresno Democrat Joaquin Arambula, countered that the bill specifies applicants must meet requirements set by the Federal National Mortgage Association, or Fannie Mae, including having a taxpayer identification number or social security number to apply for a loan, which means they’re taxpayers.

“It isn’t given out willy nilly to just anybody,” Democratic Assembly member Eloise Gómez Reyes said at the June hearing.

“We simply wanted to be as inclusive as possible within our policies so that all who are paying taxes here in our state were able to qualify,” Arambula told POLITICO. “Without the intentional law that we are introducing, we felt that there were complexities and questions that many in the immigrant community would have.”

They did already. They convinced you you were created from mud to work in a garden and not nourish yourself with knowledge for fear that you will die, while they were created in God's image to eat every seed bearing fruit and rule and subdue and multiply

But its not exactly a black and white thing. Rome whites did it to British whites too. Then British whites ate the fruit of knowledge that opened their eyes so they could tell Rome to go do one.

One day, more blacks will have their eyes opened from eating knowledge fruits.

What's the value of money compared to one's life !
Hard not to want to pay ransom to save the life of a loved ones or family member. The request for help on this thread was however not to the family or those who loved the kidnapped, which is why no one offered to help pay the ransome. Unless you did help of course. Apologies for seeming cold hearted.

Loved ones or family members do not have the luxury random people on a faceless forum may have.

In Nigeria, bus conductors are known for their exceptional kindness and respectfulness before you board their bus. They greet you with friendly titles like "Oga," "Sir," "Madam," "Senior Man," "Suwa Kawo?" or "Aunty Sabo Express?" Their initial demeanor is nothing short of warm and accommodating.
You must be talking about some conductors in some village somewhere and you haven't travelled much.

Can someone tell this individual what conductors in cities like Lagos and Ibadan are like please.

I generally don’t insult people. I dislike those who do. But I also appreciate that sometimes, you’d be forced to make insults after reading some response to your posts. I’ve been on this forum for years - since 2005. Some of you in here will most likely be kids at the time. Anyways.

So, sentiments aside, marriage is good for every and any society. If you read that article to the end, you’d see the negative implications of a society that refuse to procreate and replenish themselves. Is this what you wish for the US ? The writer gave cogent examples - with facts and figures of how the US population is aging and appears there’s no end in sight and that it won’t end well at the rate they’re going. Me I’m tired of typing.
You can't force people to do what is good for society. Damn, you can't even force people to do what is good for themselves.

But if you want people to marry and have kids, perhaps make baby food and education till 18 free. Though, I've heard that's not the US way.

I think they want to impose their perverse version of Christianity on US. It is the same sort of intolerant religious uniformity they fled Europe to avoid, and is what is practised in Iran.

You not insulting me did make me go look at it.

While people may be better off in marriage, some may still choose not to marry, and you can't force them to marry if they don't want to.

Its the same as not robbing banks may be better off for people, but some still want to rob banks.

The article lists benefits of being married and having children. You can't force people to enjoy benefits that they decide they don't want to.

I'll just assume you are being somewhat facetious.
This isn't about letting people decide, this is about Christian Fundamentals deciding their religion allows them the ability to determine other people's rights.
If it were about allowing people to decide, Republicans wouldn't be fighting to prevent abortion amendments to be put up for vote.
Christian fundamentals are people. And I do believe you can see that I'd rather not have those imbeciles decide anything for me.

Unfortunately for Repuglicans, the United States is a democracy where the people do get to decide. And I can't wait to see them up their game and try to abolish democracy. Now, that would be a hoot.

And before you say it, I have seen what I would call evidence of some trying to abolish democracy already and turn USA into its own version of the Islamic Republic of Iran. And my response while facetious is full of wonder that some people could so ignorantly be turkeying for Christmas while some in Iran are trying to my body my choice.

Everyone has the right to life and It has been argued by anti-abortion people that a foetus is already human and killing the foetus is denying it the right to life
Arguing a thing does not make it so. There is after all ongoing argument that a foetus is not a life, but you wouldn't therefore accept that killing a foetus is not the denial of life. Or would you?

Its not exactly comparing. Slavery went through the same sort of arguments and process abortion is going through today, and that is very comparable.

It's like saying Biden "failed on executive ordering" the end of climate change.
If Biden executive ordered the end of climate change and climate continued to change, then Biden obviously failed at ending climate change, I'd say, and I'd laugh at Biden thinking he could executive order the end of climate change and climate change would be executed. I in fact wouldn't want him to be president because he's shown he's not exactly smart at all.

Biden knew he couldn't executive order my body my choice, and therefore didn't. Instead, he executive ordered what he could, and he's out there saying vote Kamala and vote Democrat senators and representatives so Blue has majorities in both houses and can legislate my body my choice.

Even then, I'd still expect some states to find ways to 'my body state choice', state in this case not being We the People. But they will fail in the end, I hope, or throw women in jail for aborting and be the butt of wrath.

He didn't fail. He was limited by what he could do and that wasn't much.
It is my opinion that President Biden failed on executive ordering my body my choice due to being "limited by what he could do and that wasn't much".

So, the battle continues until every state in the USA accepts my body my choice.

Agreed. He tried and obviously failed, as shown, which is why the hope is Kamala wins and Democrats have majorities in both houses.

If he could have used an executive order to override states on Abortion, it wouldn't be an issue in November.

Listen, you should really read up on Federal powers and what laws the Federal government can make before having this argument. Because you are 100% wrong on the executive order part.
The most the Biden admin can do is write an executive order through the FDA expanding the abortion pill. Then they can wait and see if the Supreme Court overturns that.

Now, if you know different you are welcome to post how an Executive action trumps state laws when the issues are not part of Federal responsibilities as determined by the Constitution and interpreted by the Supreme Court.

You're on a tear today. Wrong Wrong Wrong.
See my previous on Biden's executive order. As said, "some states might have opposed his executive order."

Wrong!!!!

You may want to read the article and not just the headline next time.
An executive order will not provide abortion rights to states that have laws against it. Period!
You might as well claim an An executive order will not enforce anti segregation laws in states that have laws against it. Period!

For that to happen, a lot of history will need to be forgotten, and not everyone forgets so easily.

Besides, an executive order is not the only tool that could be used. The majority People may themselves democratically elect proabortion Reps and Senators and governors and president!
Foreign AffairsRe: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by budaatum: 11:07pm On Aug 22, 2024
IjeBos:
He in fact did say that.

Because the only way a President can enforce their Personal beliefs on abortion is if the Legislature passes a law on it. So again, the Democratic elected President and the Democratically elected Congress passing a law means it's not Democratic? And because they pass it it affects everyone even those that don't share the same views or "culture".
Sorry, but you are not even clear on what you are saying.

The Democratic elected President and the Democratically elected Congress passing a law means it is not Democratic!

And "The only way a President can enforce their Personal beliefs on abortion is if" the majority of people first democratically elect that person as president! And the majority of people will only elect that person as president because they the majority share the same belief. Unless they are turkeys voting for Christmas, in which case their stupidity deserves to be roasted.

And yes, the minority who don't share that belief will get it imposed on them by the democratic majority and it will affect them, somehow.

For instance, if a minority are antiabortion and the majority elect my preferred proabortion president, we will impose proabortion on that minority, whether they like it or not, though they can decide not to personally abort and we wouldn't make them.
