raumdeuter: So the school did not review the books before putting in the library? Do random books just land on the school library shelves? What of the numerous kids who have read this book already?
Parents trusted the schools will know better than to put sexual stuffs in the library for minors
Schools can not review all the books in their library, and yes, random books can just land on the school library shelves. A student or rogue teacher can very easily put a book on a library shelf.
In a previous life I worked in bookshops and caught authors putting their self published books on our shelves. We often only found out when a customer wanted to buy the book and it could not be scanned for price.
benalvino3: the Mothers that are there are not concerned? Like you see them voice their anger to the schools on what they expose their children to and the School Board wants to just shout Time so they parents can go away already.
So why make excuses for schools? those books did not appear there magically. a lot of gay stuff happening in the schools, they are putting explicit books in the schools, they are inviting drag queens to perform for children in the schools.
What you are seeing is parents finally getting involved in what their children are taught in schools and which they neglected to be concerned about in the past. Good on them, I say.
It is your duty as a parent to be involved in the education your child gets in school. Where I live, there are boards of governors and parent associations that concern themselves with what children are taught in schools, and you can't invite drag queens without parental approval.
benalvino3: Do you know what they call Approval? Do you feel someone just broke into the school and planted such books? So the schools do not know the books that are in their Schools for children to pick up and read? Are you Kidding?
It is possible. Fact is, the school is not supporting nor defending that the book remain in its library.
AldrichAmes: Yorubas have no other option than to vote for their son and see what he can do with the Yoruba project. Tinubu, despite all his glaring flaws, is more Yoruba than ........
O Lord Gods. Before you give me thinking like this, kill me first! Amen.
SLAP44: You don't even know how to do propaganda, when you say things that are impossible, people will know you're lying. Peter Obi cannot bribe anyone.
benalvino3: There are books talking about 10 years old grabbing dicks and sucking dicks. Why are you trying to make a case for schools putting explicit things for Children? Should the public library start hosting Indecency magazines?
White you put out a book with a character of age 10 having sex with men and making it seem like normal behavior to other kids in the book... don't you think that is grooming?
it's weird... and funny enough, you are taking a shot at Republicans for worrying about things like this.
I have not see a school would admit a "book with a character of age 10 having sex with men and making it seem like normal behavior", so, evidence please.
And no YouTube video by unqualified cuberjournos on this one.
Aldol: Lol, coming from someone who before election detest Nigeria calling Nigeria a zoo. ..... Suddenly Nigeria is their beloved country because Obi is on the ballot
Imagine the powers that make a zooist belove Nigeria!
CoolUsername: People complain about the ban on critical race theory, but to quote the Idaho Bill that 'bans' it.
All it prevents is teaching 3 things: (i) That any sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin is inherently superior or inferior; (ii) That individuals should be adversely treated on the basis of their sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin; (iii) That individuals, by virtue of sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin, are inherently responsible for actions committed in the past by other members of the same sex, race, ethnicity, religion, color, or national origin.
Why exactly is this bill considered controversial if CRT only teaches about the existence of racism and black history?
This is disingenuous, or you understand wrong.
If CRT taught that what you claim above, is it your understanding too that it teaches blacks are inherently superior and whites should be adversely treated?
Because that's the only reason blacks would support CRT if what you claim above is true.
Next election you will vote in someone who will add to your suffer, then perhaps you will wake up and elect those who might make things easier for you, but going by all you post on here I am certain your suffer never end. In fact, I think it's only just begun, but we shall discuss that when you wail in pain in a year or two.
benalvino3: Coupled with this nonsense you just posted. You needed the lesson of hardship... certified mumu Wasn't it a hardship that you guys claimed to be running from when GEJ was voted out? How is it that you want the hardship to learn now? do you even know how to use your brain?
first of all, Buhari got into power through a coup, secondly, he did not finish elementary school. that's who you want to lead you?
How is the Shape of the country now?
security how far, can you compare the amount of kidnapping back then to now? How about deaths? What a shame.
benalvino3: you have people like Budaatum who supported Buhari twice on the left. It is no surprise, they support anything that destroys a nation.
Actually, buda supported the choice of the majority. Anyone who lived through Head of State Buhari knew his regime would be tough, and we Nigerians needed that lesson. He did after all call Nigerians lazy fuqs, so only the ignorant expected he'd feed them.
Only an ignorant person like you would claim the Nigeria where girls were being kidnapped and that was being looted and was about to become bankrupt would claim "GEJ corrupt but Nigeria was in shape", since intelligent people are aware you can't keep kidnapping and looting on that scale and claim to be "in shape".
budaatum: If Peter Obi loses this election, I shall blame my Nigerian self for not campaigning enough so he wins and I shall start work immediately to ensure he wins the election in 2027.
By then, Nigerians would have suffered enough to beg Obi to be their President, so my work might not need to be so much.
