I think we the masses were fed it in our breastmilk. That someone or something will come and bear our cross for us and only that thing or someone will, so, instead of developing the muscle to empower us to bear our own individual crosses, we wait in supplication for the arrival of our supermuscled messiahs/prophets/politician etc to come bear our crosses for us. Thankfully, that's this my current generation, the generation that seems to fail to learn the lessons from our heroes past. The coming generation are learning the skills and developing the abilities that empower them to retire their messiahs and bear their own crosses. After all not many of them have not yet learnt the lesson of the last 8 years of Next Level and 4 x4 and Lazy Youths and the need to learn to bear their own crosses and produce their own manna since no messiah has appeared yet. This thread is for that coming generation to list the skills and abilities that you developed that empower you to bear your own crosses and boldly go up to heaven to learn to make your own manna here on earth for yourselves so that my current generation may learn not to continue to expect our crosses to be bourne for us and our manna to fall into our begging mouths from the heavens above. My hope is we are not too late to learn. P.s. In case of confusion which is your generation, the ignorant one is the current.

I will laugh at their assumption of being able to steal from me and get away with it, because I as a Nigerian is in a better position to steal from the Nigerian government and our nation more than they can possibly steal from us all. |
CoolUsername:I think it the thing about you assuming wrongly one holds the beliefs you ridicule. Like ridiculing you for a thing you don't think. For instance, claiming you believe "maths is racist" then ridiculing you for it. |
benalvino3:It's hard to recognise things you believe one believes Ben. Probably why your trolling fails where I'm concerned. |
CoolUsername:I'm struggling to make sense of the above. Gender roles are not " made-up construct", but are the result of 'mummy carries baby, daddy provides protection', and were imposed on the couple, first through desire for one another and to propagate, and because a 9 month pregnant individual could not chase off wolfs. Did you drink? |
Enugurangers:There is nothing like "average Nigerian". You just need look out of a Nigerian window to observe our diversity, and moreso if you travel some. And wat you are pointing to is a consequence of supply and demand.

IjeBos:That's their intention, to get you whacking so your time is consumed by them. And every time you let them consume your time they achieve their objective, because it stops any meaningful conversation from being had so no growth or development or change occurs.

shuttox:Tinubu is JW, lol. |
raumdeuter:I ought to frame this! |
westlius:This is not legal. Make a copy of the sign below and stand by the Foreigners ATM with it. People will see it and revolt after you explain to them why you are standing with it. An A4 handwritten version would do.

He's probably depressed and does not know it. You'd need to let him be for a while, since he's not harming anyone and is aware for his need to privately talk to himself. Buy him a notebook to record his conversations. He'd hopefully read what he writes and reflect. |
armyofone:Integrity is required for him to want to step down and he's shown he has none by what he's done to get the job. So, don't expect him to exercise any. It's the people who must wait to de-employ him. |
Even our courts have now become Obidient.

IjeBos:Lies are not protected from being discovered to be false and lies if that is what it is, and such lies have consequences for the liar.

[quote author=adamusuleiman1 post=120562444]Greene: Can you tell me how much money went to CRT? Dodaro: CRT? Greene: It’s a racist curriculum used to teach children that somehow their white skin not equal to black skin and other things. MTG also creates numbers out of thin air. She claimed that $5.1 BILLION went to some elementary school in Illinois for "equity and diversity". will soon claim here that "an elementary school in Illinois received $5.1 billion to teach CRT". I'm so glad she's been given a platform to show us what she like. |
Maynman:Almost all ancient civilizations too had different gods for different things, even if they did not consider them gods at the time. One for rain, another for sun, a different one for wind and so on. I find they are used as stopgaps. Like, this is what we (this culture and tradition) so far know about a particular phenomena and should be known by all so it is propagated through tradition and culture and religion, and education today where it is observed in the diversity of subjects one learns up to 16. Human ancestors would have had to build a temple to the God of Mathematics.

Maynman:Before they were polytheist, which means more than one theo, they must have first adopted their first theo I'd have thought, and then add poly to it. Problem is with "our human ancestors". It's so Adam, like we originated from the same ancestor, when, where religions are concerned, human ancestors were poly with diverse views and cultures and thoughts and opinions, and what we today have is the mishmash, like "relating a Greek word to the Hebrew Bible". As "human ancestors" became conscious of themselves and others and their surroundings, gods jumped out at them so to speak. It's why people near the oceans had sea gods, and those constantly waring had war gods, while those farming worshipped the weather etc etc, and as consciousness evolved so did the idea of gods. |
Kobojunkie:No it hasn't. It's another god made up to explain how the world came into existence as understood by certain other people in a different place. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demiurge

dyera:I'm told if you look closely with spirit enhanced telephoto wise person eyes you would see Jesus riding on his way on the comet. The prayer is he'd stop by this moment and not 50,000 years time. Photos if you see it please. You know how atheists are with their "evidence".

IMAliyu2:Reformed? After it was thrown out by the court? Why? |
CoolUsername:When Alabama's "substitute father" regulation was passed? You'd need to provide stats for that please. For ref, population of Alabama is 5.04 million with 1,348,681 (2017) being black. Do you think they get to chose who wins? Ironically though, George Corley Wallace Jr. (August 25, 1919 - September 13, 1998) was a Democrat.

raumdeuter:This was one state trying to exclude some recipients from federal funded welfare. Thankfully, their action was found to be illegal, but I would not be surprised if a different way was found. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_v._Smith

Maynman:I've brought this here to drag it away from your more active thread so as not to detail it. I do not agree with the "let’s all stick to I DONT KNOW", (on the assumption it is meant as "no one knows", and not just you claiming to not know, if which I misunderstand, what follows is irrelevant). If one has not done the work to know, then indeed one should say one does not know, but a general categorical "no one knows" (my assumption of the meaning and intent of your "I DONT KNOW", with apologies if wrong), is just not true since some know because they have bothered to do the work in order to know and therefore do know. Also, it is not very wise to "reject any explanation given to us by scientists and Theists", unless by "accept" you mean uncritically accept and believe it. And this thing is not unknownable. First, it is very possible to know what is already known, since many express what they know in writings which can be read or accessed in other ways to therefore know what they know. The knowledge (what is claimed to be known) about gods go back to very early writing and from many cultures, so one must consider such "explanations". You yourself have explained your knowing here for consideration and thereby increased the knowledge of those who read it either we agree or not. Second, scientists and sometimes, theists, do quite a lot of research, often more than a layperson may do, so their explanation (opinion) is worth consideration. And that's apart from learning how their explanations have changed or been abandoned or evolved over time, which will increase one's own knowing and understanding, not only of the explanation but also of the explainer and what they explain. Third, one can compare and contrast the various explanations to see where they agree or disagree or express the same idea different or same and compare to one's own understanding and knowing, which will increase one's own understanding and knowledge. It's a lot of work, I admit, but it's not impossible to do the work in order to know. Not doing the work and claiming not to know, is true, in some sense, but those who make such claims of not knowing and then go on to explain their opinions of knowledge, are presenting a fallacy of untruths that they have already ascertained for themselves, just as you explained. Guess we can listen to the bit where he gave consent for "one single book".

raumdeuter:I wonder how many black people wrote and voted for that rule, and what was intended by it. In response to Don and you. https://wapo.st/3kPcHAN
