iwaeda:I did google. Found not only power outs, but fuel and bread shortages too, and that last is from a product they are a one of top 5 producers of. |
temptnow:UK had fuel shortages too before UKraine. Notice how they solved it not with protests.
|
Lightorder:Protests have never solved a single problem in Nigeria that I know of, but I guess we can keep doing the same things so we keep getting the same result. |
brandsoncharlie:I'm not blaming global crisis, I'm blaming us, we Nigerians, whom, if we had done what we should have done, we'd be swimming in petrol today, but as usual, we export the wheat and import cornflakes and then blame the government when we starve. I can't wait for Dangote to finally show us what we should have done. We just might apply our new learning to electricity. |
iwaeda:I sincerely believe I'd have to pay you a lot to go live there in Ukraine. Like $10,000 or 2k even for some, but you not telling truth about their light and you know you aren't. It's after all not exactly easy to send light down blown up electric poles and you'd expect Russia to know that. |
You'd think Nigeria is the only country suffering from the increase in fuel price and undersupply, when in fact the entire world is facing the same problem, but how does Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIW, want you to deal with it? By protesting, as usual, instead of organising and electing competent rulers, and they know that hoodlums will hijack the protest! Some just need to destroy Nigeria, by hook or by crook, and some innocent Nigerians will join in because they do not understand the harm they do. |
Gointo:You are funny. Dtruthspeaker: |
LeoDeKing:See same being said by someone.

benalvino3:I actually identify myself by my presence, Ben. And I do not rely on sense that is common to those who believe that what one of you believes is what you all must believe. |
raumdeuter:Of course. Though, don't forget I teach them about sex at home from much earlier an age being that we reared chicken. |
raumdeuter:Raum, you either do not have children or they are not in school yet, because if you had, and your child only went there to be taught academics, then I'd strongly suggest you ask for your money back because your child is not receiving what you are paying for. And to be honest with you, considering academics might have been your own school experience, I'd expect you'd know better by now. |
sanpipita:I'm not even going to bother acknowledging he exists as he is an insult to anyone who has a brain. Imagine him thinking he can brainwash brain using people with q points! |
raumdeuter:It's school! A place where I so trust my child to that I even pay for my child to got there, which is permission being paid for, and if I do not want my child to learn certain things they teach there, I can enrol my child in the school that teaches it only what I want or teach my child what I want in my own home! |
raumdeuter:Some want to empower the 6 year old to speak up against their sexual abusers, but of course in your mind, by "taught about sexuality" you mean, teaching them to have sex. |
As things stand, most sports follow the guidelines set by the International Olympic Committee in 2015, which permit trans women to compete in female sport if they suppress their testosterone levels below 10nmol per litre. |
raumdeuter:Really, Raum? You sure it's about liberalism, and not about America? This topic interests you and Ben a lot, so please let me know what UK thinks on the matter. https://www.uksport.gov.uk/news/2021/09/30/transgender-inclusion-in-domestic-sport

benalvino3:That might be when the public lost trust in them Ben, but as I've explained to you, I never trusted them since Murdoch. |
benalvino3:I never said fox lacks credibility because of magas, Ben. Maga is a very recent phenomenon, and Fox has had no credibility as far as I was concerned, because it was owned by Murdoch, and is the same reason I don't watch Sky News. Now go check when Murdoch owned Fox, and you might fit a date to it instead of your usual, making things up. |
benalvino3:As soon as I read things like the above from you, Ben, I just switch off. How can I possibly be siding with maga and fox when I obviously deplore them both? I guess you are like the media. Always promoting your biases. |
benalvino3:This is a fight back, Ben. For centuries, if you were gay you better keep it to yourself, but now, things have thankfully changed. Same with race and gender, both fighting against perceived historically perpetuated discrimination. I'm glad you can't be a bigot and keep your job, but it's your choice and not by force that you should change so long as you don't mind the consequences. |
benalvino3:It's your opinion fox "got a lot of things other networks was getting wrong". To me, they were hardly a news network, as they often included opinion, but that's an American thing, generally. All their news is opinionated to one side or the other I grew up with BBC World Service and Voice of America, and English radio from Russia and China and the rest of the world. It's amazing what reception a Grundig on the third floor gives you, and then, perhaps because of the diversity, one pretty quickly learns all media is biased. Chomsky (reading in my day), wrote quite a lot about this phenomenon. Unfortunately, smart people study his work as a 'how to' as opposed to a 'see what'. All news media is biased, Ben. Believe any at one's peril. |
benalvino3:Society is not forcing others to think anything, as far as I am concerned. To me, being told what gender or sex you prefer, is similar to you telling me you are a saint or a god or rich or a doctor. In the end I will rely on my own senses, since what you call yourself or want to be called has no more significance than your name. I'll give you an example. There's a person on here with speaker of truth in their monicker, but this individual only speaks what they think is the truth, and often actual lies, and despite contradictory not disputed evidence to the contrary. I may call that person by their speak the truth monicker but I know that person is far too ignorant to know the truth. Same with you stating what you wish to be called. I can call you her and she if you want, though knowing you have a diq. No skin off my nose you see. Whatever consequences or benefits there may or may not be do not accrue to me nor does its cost me, and that includes financially, going to heaven or burning in hell. No one is going to let anyone spread religion (including ideologies) "through the sword(by force) today". Some are of course boko haram, but see how they are being resisted there not to talk of in the land of the free and the brave. Incidentally, just so you notice how I see this. I'd say it's the right who are trying to impose 'religion' (my womb, gender, etc), and I feel you see the left as imposing the 'religion' of "man that thinks he is a woman" (and I suppose, race). |

In 2019, Leclerc was leading in Bahrain but lost when he broke down, I think it was. Today it was the Red Bulls that turned into ducks, lol. Hamilton 3rd! That Merc was a 5th place car at best, but with the Bulls being near lasts, he should party in Bahrain. 2022 is going to be very interesting!

[quote author=benalvino3 post=111202482]Madness Men are two times stronger than women and also smarter than women. That's how nature has shaped reality but some fools always seem to be delusional sadly. In this case the woman is smarter than the guy , is the right word, for America, though, I'd gladly replace it with Liberal, which is in their DNA. It began as the right to practice religion, you see, as opposed to the illiberalism of Europe at the time that prohibited certain religions. If one can practise a religion of a god made up by Joseph Smith, the thinking goes, why can't I make up my gender, and my sex, and my age, and my race, and my wealth ..... Etc. Sometimes, societies travel down roads that lead to destruction and either know where it leads and turn back, or continue to its logical destination. Think $30T in debt but the concern is a man who cuts off his dik to become a woman. I am amused. |
benalvino3:Fox News lost its reputation as a news network during the last regime, I'm afraid. Even magas noticed their turnaround and left them in droves once they turned on orange man whom they'd spent 4 years waxing lyrical about. Once one knows it's owners, it's almost impossible to take them serious. MSNBC I can't stand and never watch, though I did yesterday. I dropped something on my TV screen and it smashed, so I'm on my laptop. Found out they carry Sky News weather, another channel I just can't stand. CNN I watch sometimes because it gives an idea of American thinking. The adverts put me off because they literally assume you got more money than sense. I used to read Breitbart sometimes and comments too, for the same reason - an idea of American thinking, America being split between the two, though I must confess I'm bored of them now since drumpthf left them with nothing to report but baseless conspiracies and opinion pieces to tell magas what to think. My subscribed media is liberal. I do Guardian, NYT, Washington Post and the Economist, to name a few. And I'm a radio C-Span and BBC World Service junkie. Both help me sleep. But books is it mostly, to understand historical perspectives. My current is about oil, or, Energy, to give it it's real name. It's interesting seeing how most conflicts since the beginning of the 20th Century revolve around oil and a tiny few number of men around the world, while most are focused on the theatre of politics. Thankfully, America is not the world, and I love getting news and perspectives from elsewhere, hence RT, Al-Jazeera, CGTN of China, etc. |
Will this be Ferrari's comeback year? |
NTA before the news in the 70s, would declare that "100 million Nigerians watch NTA News. 100 Million Nigerians can't be wrong", and then they'd commence lying to Nigerians. No serious person grows up in Nigeria trusting media. It's just unfortunate that most are primed to believe things and so can't help themselves, but some learn to do their own research and to separate the chaff from the wheat. |
basilico:To you it would justify, just as it would justify to any other stupid person, but I guess it's hard for you to think others might not be stupid like you. |
I've picked up a thing for Jodie Foster, or rather, re-picked, considering I first picked her up a long time ago. My latest of her's was Mauritanian, where she played a lawyer defending a Guantanamobian. Before that was The Brave One, and before that, Flightplan. Mauritanian is Foster against the establishment without the embellishments, which is probably why this could have gone under the radar, or rather, could have intentionally been put under the radar, or perhaps covid killed it, though it's storyline is unlikely to find an audience in America and therefore no where else they feed, covid or 9-11. I'm thinking rewatch Nell next, but I'm open to Foster favourites.

AmazonTopaz:It's pretty similar to what I posted but trust cretins to believe qanon instead. |
