LastProphet:Your vituperations about the Igbos is highly repugnant. But what i find impressionable about your assertions is the subtle objectivity in it. Your position above is the reason Igbos are insisting they must go. Whats our business with what happens to them if they go. Allow them do the worrying of what becomes of them when they go....mind you, everyone in South Sudan is not dead and they are not begging North Sudan that they want to return...same with Kosovo if you know global history...and Igbos are not Lazy. They may be arrogant and proudly but laziness is far from them... Permit me to agree that Igbos will have bickery and rancour in the beginning for a little while if they seccede and afterwards they will settle to shock the world in developmental innovations. There is something unique about that race that Nigeria is toying with. Though difficult, We need them than they need us. google Ahmadu Bellos interview on the Igbos on youtube and watch. the entire Nigeria especially the North fears the Igbos., their boldness, their audacity, their arrogance, their business enterprise and a mix of evil intent is why you either love or hate them. i have learned a lot from them.....Let them go now in peace. its something that will happen now or later. |
LastProphet:Been on air and jet lagged. Be sure to get my response tomorrow. Shalom |
sweetgala:All these epistle you wrote is because of Igbos?...If they want to go, they are as free as the air. not my business. i just dont want war or blood shed. i still wonder daily why we want to keep Igbos by force. all in the name of giant of Africa... |
The hatred people have for Fani kayode and PDP will not allow them read what he said in the above article and the sense in it. I know Junaid will not make such senseless statement during GEJs time but now that PMB holds sway. we should expect that. below is my earlier assertions on realisation of Biafra and eventual breakaway of Igbos from Nigeria. If Igbos want to go. whats the big deal. all these attention and palpable fear of Nigerians on Igbos is becoming too much. haba. If they want to go, lets free them peacefully. all these Igbo and Biafra news is becoming boring. I think that the governments move against Radio Biafra is coming rather late and giving it all the publicity they never had. I am not one of those who fool themselves that Biafra will not be realised one day. History has it that those who have been held as slaves or third class citizens always gain freedom. The Jews gained freedom from the Egyptians after 450years, Indian got independence from Britain, 1948 the Jews stubbornly carved out a state for themselves in the middle east. The black Americans now vote and contest elections. The scotish will break away from the British someday..its just time. The followership of Radio Biafra is crazy and if the agitation has not died 40years after the war. It wont die again. White Americans told black Americans that they will remain in perpetual servitude. Today history and time has proven those white Americans wrong. Pro-Biafran groups are doing all they can to gain global world leaders attention and trust me they are gaining momentum. The last Biafra day celebration accross the globe gives credence to this. BBC, New York Times and Jerusalem Post has reported in Biafra in the last one week. Thats a reach out if you ask me. Here is my proposition. I will not tell Igbos to go or stay. It is their right to choose what they want. As a matter of fact the push by many people for them not to go is giving the struggle much more popularity. There was war in Nigeria years back with a monumental pogrom that left many Igbos dead. Nigerian state must not pretend all is well and keep moving ahead. There is need for a reconciliation and assimilation meeting between the state of Nigeria abd Igbo leaders. Ask your Igbo friends at work if they truly will desire to leave Nigeria. 8 out of ten will say yes. The more reason i think the agitation for Biafra actualisation will not die. The Niger Deltans who were cold enemies with Igbos are gradually aligning and having clandestine meetings. Veraciously clamping down on Igbo Biafra will not work. The support and sponaorship is high and we must not pretend that the inventive power of the Igbos will not help them in this Radio war. How about NBC licensing Radio Biafra with a Different name like Radio Igbo or something else. I write this because i have the deepest concern for what will become of our great country Nigeria in the coming years if its not well managed. I am married to an industrous Igbo woman who has given me 2 sons. I asked her on bed last night if she supports realisation of Biafra, she said she will sponsor yhe agitation when the time is right. My wife has never mentioned Biafra but its deeply seated in her. We are both highly educated and understand rights. She and my two sons are all i've got. The Irish marry the English, yet the Irish is planning to secede, so, don't crucify me. There is need for a wound healing meeting now before its too late. We will appear delusional if we think that the Nigeria of 1960 is same today. History has a way of proving those who say things are impossible wrong. Some people said PMB will never become Nigeria's president again. They said he was old, he is a dictator and all sorts. Today he is the president. Biafra will be realised if Igbos are not fully re-integrated into Nigerian politics and all the hate against them stamped out. |
This obsession nawa..i dont care who is being probed or investigated as Fr.Kukah will suggest. All i ask for is good governance. I spend fortune on diesel running my company. I have staff to pay. My kids are in school. I have two graduate cousins who are at home searching for a job. The people desire good governance in food availability, commodity price crash, employment, electricity.revamped education sector..good roads.good welfare system all these will require time to build and that time is going. All these probe and no probe is a huge distraction. PMB should set up a commision to handle that and focus on delivering on his promise. 3 years from now, if there are no jobs, no electricity, no good health system , no good roads, and education system is still in comatose, people who are shouting probe now will accuse him of incompetence. Let it be known that i did not vote PMB to focus in the past. I desire a better future for myself, my family and this country. I might be wrong but i know that when you fight corruption, corruption fights back....PMB should focus forward, block all leakages, build institutions and move forward. If you regard me a wailer, so be it...but 3 years from now will tell. |
This was one of those big frogs OBJ could not swallow during his eight years. The hard truths in that letter are EFCC and ICPC are duplications The anti corruption began well but ended as a war against PDP or OBJ opponents. Every good leader must keep closely those who tell them the truth and not sycophants |
I will flog all and nothing more |
Trust NnA Boys |
Love making in the midst of crisis. they should supply them condom please. those kids cant be born in such enviroment...born into crisis and pain. men should hold their blo.kos abeg |
This guy is living the life. Total package
|
galadima77:Your parents should have used condom so you don't show up here to spew rubbish. You are not talking to a daft. am i suppose to accept your cited example just because you said it? Guy dont allow me remember you and your low life |
Gboliwe:I am not a picture person. Am i suppose to be in the market taking pics like women...so busy, i dont even remember my phone has camera. Sorry, i did not snap one person |
Ngokafor:Madam Ngozi Okafor, i wonder why you will asune am Yoruba. There are over 300 ethnic groups in this country...There is war going on here between Igbos and Yorubas and i wont be part of it. I'd objectively rather remain unknown. It saves my post ethnic interpretations...i currently hold a title here. Allow me enjoy it. |
ezex:Your type is the reason Igbos are insisting they must go. Whats your business with what happens to them if they go. Allow them do the worrying...mind you, everyone in South Sudan is not dead...and Igbos are not Lazy. They may be arrogant and proudly but laziness is far from them... And why do you tag everyone Igbo when they speak up on matters of Igbo people. Gush...sorry, i choose to look at the good side of every tribe..join me..its a good place to be. |
melzabull:I wont engage in the ethnic bashing that go on here. Its childish. I have friends in all ethnic group...i cant wear moniker on nairaland and insult only to meet them outside and embrace and hang out. Thats hypocrisy. And am not one. |
I am a bit worried at the type of copy and paste Journalism our media undertakes. This news went viral and Both AIT and Channels reported it at the 8pm news bulletin. Have you noticed that EFCC jas kept us busy with quizzes everyday. Always quizing with no prosecution. Its unfortunate that SSS has joined. They quiz, detain and release...a week after no more on it... Can we have them quizzed, dont even tell us till they appear in court and possibly jailed. The whole thing is now looking like Machiavellian theory of leadership which insists that you must keep the ruled hopeful with breaking news of what they want to hear. Where is Saraki's wife you quizzed, Yaraduas daughter nko, abi na Dasuki and and Awkaibom REC. We want to see them behind bars The quizing don do abeg. |
Udmaster:Is it necessary? So you can engage in your usual tribal war and labelling. Am sure you want to know if am Igbo or Yoruba. Am neither both. Grow up. |
galadima77:Gov Aliyu is a liberal muslim. He was the first in the north to call bokoharam rascals when people like you were sympathetic to their course. That a yoruba man is the imam, wont also stop your from removing his head when crisis erupts. Mr Galadima of 1977 |
dokiOloye:Oh boy, when the guy was viberating, i shifted. But the guy na confirm big boy. Small boy with so much money. I am older than him i guess, looked like a learner in business to him but you cant beat his guts bro. Those guys are blessed. Only arrogance is a turn off. |
Landed at Owerri airpot and while we drove out, i saw beautiful fair ladies. My wife being Igbo from Enugu had told me that Imo state has the fairest ladies in Igbo land. I witness it first hand. Fair laps everywhere. I continued doing my sign of the cross till we hit the road to Aba. Nothing has really changed in Aba since i last visited 7years ago. But what cought my attention was a branded T-shirt most traders were wearing and few ladies..the T-shirt says ''Proudly 5%'' i wondered what was going on till i got to the line where i will buy few items. On asking thr Igbo dude i met in one shop why he was wearing proudly 5%. He said ''we Igbos bow to nobody but God..imagine that Hausa man telling us that we gave him 5%. We never gave him 5%. We gave him nothing but since he decieves himself with Rochas, Ogbona Onu and Ngige that we gave him 5%, so be it. He further said, do i look hungry, do i look like i need minister. That is job for lazy corrupt people. Seat in the office and carry file and sign money. I can't do that. My container arrives every month. I will comfortably feed everyone in Buhari's village'' You could feel his anger. Opinion: i think PMB guffed in that statement of 95% and 5%. The tempo i felt in the east is that most of them have no interest in this government wheresoever. It appears that only a few Igbos are after this government. They care less on the appointment. PMB is the president of Nigeria and not any section. Rejection has a way of pushing people into innovativeness. And striving to prove people wrong. My advice to PMB is to embrace the heart of a father and entrench balance. I will not decieve myself that Igbos have not had a fair share in the appointment made so far. We must not shout one Nigeria, and turn arround to rub it on their faces that they are hated. It will only fuel the agitation for Biafra Below is Another article i wrote on radio Biafra...History will prove me wrong or right .am not one of those who fool themselves that Biafra will not be realised one day. History has it that those who have been held as slaves or third class citizens always gain freedom. This vituperations are repugnant to natural justice. In the spirit of equity, fairness and good conscience. I and my family support the Igbos to go peacefully. Its not by force to co habit. But That Nnamdi of a guy should stop that hate and insultive messages. |
Honestly |
danjumakolo:Genuinely indeed, and i wonder why you are here defending while one can easily deduce from your spellings here that you are not Igbo. Truth is bitter though. |
mizvee:Even in abuja here, we have Yoruba and Hausa mosque all over. same up north and i wonder if its different Allah |
This is the reason ''core north'' never take Yoruba muslims serious. They never allow them lead prayers up north. watch how he will convert to christianity very soon. I am aware that if an Igbo man converts to Islam, its about the money but for the Yorubas...i simply cant tell of the confusion. and if you investigate his family, there is Islamic lineage or father is Christian and mother is core muslim The confusion is in HD --Smh |
And the Lord said to his people, Guard your loins. Wetin kpekus don cause for this life, book no fit contain am |

Originalsly:I am quite busy now and may not be able to tell you in details how keeping of FX in bank vault incures heavy financial burden on them. If you approach CBN to deal FX either as a bank., Discount house or BDC. You are categorised with a limit of purchase and deals. The categories are A B C. What that simply means is that if you are a commercial bank for instance with a vault limit of 5million dollars by CBN peg. Any other dollar after that 5million peg is huge cost on the bank. You pay penalty of 3percent to CBN on the excess daily. NSITF Insurance does not cover that excess in your vault. Cost of repatriation of the dollars outside the country is on you and not CBN. CBN policy does not allow banks to charge customers extra for FX deposit or management. I will explain better when am less busy if you need further clarifications |
Below was my position and prediction few weeks back. i need to state clearly that i am in fuill support of the stringent measures CBN has adopted to strenghten the Naira. Have you asked yourself why the dollar has remained stable in the exchange market. Bank rate since may has not exceeded 199.8 and the parallel market has hit 242 lately. its nothing but speculative panic which will climax and come back crumbling. The current rise is only in the parallel market otherwise known as black market. The federal government of Nigeria is making mad money from this policy and trust me there will be no reversals. we have dollarised our economy and inflation is hiting us hard. in simple terms, what CBN is saying is do the right thing. The policies have been in place for FX transactions but we like cutting corners. prior to this policy, Nigeria lost billions daily and banks in partnership with the customers transfered funds to all parts of the world for personal and commercial businesses. The CBN policy stipulates that you use FORM A and FORM M for vissible and invissible transactions. There is no plan to reverse that policy Emefiele and his board are working and have the support of mr President. Brace up and do the right thing. Our foreign reserve is rising there is no going back. Banks are shoting their doors against FX deposits because the cost of managing it will tell on their books. we are strickly back to FORM A and FORM M. |
