Romance › Re: Why Do The Rich Marry The Rich And The Poor Marry The Poor.... by butanep(m): 4:49pm On May 05, 2016 |
2dugged: I would rather be surprised than to hope and be frustrated, hope will only lead me to depression as the odds of breaking free from the shackles of poverty is one in a million,I can't live on that,I might end up hoping too much and loose my mind, or do something stupid, all this talk about believe in yourself, have faith, miracles exists, blah blah is just to keep the poor in check psychologically so they dont revolt and the rich gets to enjoy their money in peace,it takes a lot of energy to hope of which I lack, reality check says my chances are slim,so why punish myself by waiting for what will not be,the rich have made the gap so wide, crossing over will require extra forces Hmmm... I understand your side of the story. it's not easy to break even in the society where the gap between the rich and poor is so wide but it's still possible. You might be among the one in a million that will break the bond to become a rich and wealthy lady tomorrow. Life sometimes is not fair, as your hardwork doesn't guarantee your prosperity tomorrow but that shouldn't stop you from working hard and believing it will all come to an end one day. I know it can be frustrating sometimes but never give up. Most rich dudes and ladies you see today was once from a humble background. An opportunity in life catapulted them to the level they are today. Just have the confidence that your opportunity to become wealthy is near. Don't be idle. Just keep the spirit alive and keep working. Nothing works except you work... |

IRserveMyComent: my dear are you married? If not you might consider stopping pre marital sex for your own good. My dear I am not married. I'm still single and searching. I should stop having sex or use good protection or play safe or just stop. My dear it not easy to stop. It is better you play before marriage than during it... I can't deceive myself. Pre-marital sex is good and bad. I am planing to quit anyway but it's not easy to be single and alone. If you must date, sex must come in & am not ready to marry now. I'm committing it to the hands of God so it don't creep into me when am married. As am taking, one just called to spend the night. He nor easy jare or do you have a way out? |

cocktopuss: Lets hope she got the disease after she was with him.
I still dont know why guys have sex without protection though, cant trust anyone but yourself. haba. Sometime the condom will just foolishly burst. I remember how the condom I used on a babe burst. The thing pain me die. I still went for second round and the condom burst again. I quickly jump from my bed. She was so tight so the contraction was much which lead to the bursting of the condom. She was afraid of getting pregnant and I was afraid of getting STDS. She told me not to be afraid after taking postenor II. Thank God I tested negative thereafter. Since then I started buying good condoms not regular gold circle. |

2dugged: becoming rich is impossible except oluwa picks my call like that of olajumoke, which I doubt is one in two billion cases or make I go do blood money? You don't have to doubt the possibility of becoming wealthy. It can happen even tomorrow. We can't predict what tomorrow holds for us, that the more reason you just have to be optimistic about life. Olajumoke never knew she will become famous and rich @ this time but the doors of opportunities open to her. It was her time. When you time comes, even that old woman in your village can't stop you. Just believe your time will come soon... ... your dp really show how desperate you are about having money. |

God bless the like of late Yar'adua and Goodluck jonathan. They are really men of Good heart. Yar'adua was the man that would have put Nigeria on track but the bad people of Nigeria decided to take him from the surface of the earth.
We need more people like yar'adua in presidency who talk less and act more... |

hungryboy: most poor people are lazy?, Oga abeg no make me vex oh, You think say Dangote dey work pass me?, 90% of the rich class will not be able to do the work most poor people do. Most of the rich dudes are just fortunate not that they are really hardworking. Their cake have been baked by their parents and grand parents. It's not easy for someone with a humble background because he has to bake his cake himself. It take extra work for him to break even. It takes extral work and God's grace to make the man from a humble background to become rich in Life. |
Career › Re: We Earn More Than Bank Workers –FCT Cab Drivers by butanep(m): 2:06pm On May 04, 2016 |
There are some cab men living very fine and doing comfortably well than some bankers and vice versa. It all depends on the level you.
On an average, most cab men earn better than bankers. Be it contract or permanent staff. I know of a cab man building his personal house in GRA with his earnings from his cab service. He lives very fine. How many bankers can boost of their personal houses? Very few.
Nigeria has grown beyond the point of people admiring you by the flamboyant dress or cloth you wear every morning but by what you make make out from life. I'm not against white collar jobs but most of them especially banking is a slavery. They suck the juice out of your life and dump you when they are through. |
Career › Re: Masters Or Stay On Job? by butanep(m): 11:00am On May 04, 2016 |
humilitypays: Good morning my brother, yes I know that our so-called leaders and politicians have really destroyed Nigeria and made us to lose faith and even direction, but still, the few lucky Nigerians like this op, who were lucky enough to secure an oil company job which if he's really honest, must be earning anything between 500k and above monthly plus some other allowances (hazard allowances), etc.
With such salary, he should be able to save like 250k every month, now multiply 250k by 12, that's 3,000,000 million naira savings every year, now multiply it by 4, that's 12,000,000 million naira in 4 years.
What I did is the least calculation because if truly he works with any of the IOCs, then his take home every month shouldn't be less than 700k after 4yrs....but let's assume he earned less, that means he ought to have at least 12million naira savings by now.
With 12million naira savings, and 4yrs active-relevant industry experience, if this fella still doesn't know how to wisely invest that 12million to start yielding at least 100k profit monthly, then he ought to go back to his village and join his grandparents to do peasant farming.
If all the oil company workers we have in Nigeria have this creative investment mentality, we ought to have uncountable number of flourishing small companies employing other youths...but hell no, these guys squander their fat salary+allowances on runs girls, keeping girlfriends in all Nigerian campuses, marrying more than 2 wives secretly, touring the world unnecessarily not even for investment or business trips but for fun.
This is our problem in Nigeria, we love easy comfort! Reason every Nigerian youths dream is to secure job in an oil company to start receiving fat pay and buy luxury car and start to live flamboyant life instantly with no plan to own their own successful company.
For those who may say I would do worst if I am in their shoe, let me give u a big background info of who I am.
I am one of the best graduating students (3rd best with the 3rd highest CGPA) in my school during my set, I got oil jobs (NLNG, both got screened out cos of age), was among the final applicants in NNPC wuru-wuru recruitment which I clearly got on merit but because of the usual Nigerian who-do-know, I got lynched during appointment letter issuance.
I made final stage of: Schlumberger, Oil Test, Mantrac, DHL, Glo, NLN ship manning, NNPC twice, etc, etc.
Now, the very day I got notification that I have passed NLNG final interview, I quickly told my elder brother that we need to register a company...a construction/engineering company so that once I return from NLNG training in Liverpool, we will use my allowances to set the company up running because my brother has awesome experience in engineering/construction, coupled with mine.
My intention was for us to own a successful civil engineering and construction firm in the next 5 - 10yrs that will solve lots of civil engineering problems we have presently in our Nigerian cities
We carried on with that dream even after NLNG dropped me cos of age.
And I am still trying my best in another field.
So in conclusion, most Nigerian youths lack creativity and direction; all they want is a good job in another creative man's company so that they can have easy life without laboring for it, it's shameful! The future of Nigeria is in a big mess...who will employ our unborn children if we all refuse to suffer and create companies today that will provide more good jobs for our unborn kids
Our politicians will stole our national common wealth and go and save it in developed countries, seriously, black man is sick!!! Hmmmm... see the way you break down someone income as if you are his employer. I get your point anyway but you might not be absolutely correct. He might be receiving less. So many youths here in Nigeria has aspirations of becoming employers of labour but they are constrain with many factors. Setting up an industry or a firm in overseas might be much easier than here in Nigeria. I'm not trying to justify people that have the money but refused to invest here in Nigeria but just trying to let you know the environment here in Nigeria is harsh for young entrepreneurs. |
Career › Re: Masters Or Stay On Job? by butanep(m): 10:40pm On May 03, 2016 |
humilitypays: Don't mind Nigerians, we are not just creative in Nigeria....our lives just follow a pre-defined pattern: go to school, graduate with good result, go for NYSC, look for a job, go for Masters so that u can become the manager of another creative man's company...and then if possible, acquire a PhD certificate to intimidate your mates and colleagues and to show that u sabi book well well...and at the end, u have no sustainable thing for your children to inherit aside the money u stole from other people's companies and government purse (if u succeed in getting political appointment)
This is the sole reason Nigeria is a corrupt country with skyrocketing rate of unemployment!
We lack creative youths who are bold and smart enough to think of creating their own companies to employ others...all Nigerians want the easy way out- get a job and start immediately to receive big salary and start to carry girls up and down, shame Boss I will love to know you. You have simply spoken the bitter truth with anger and authority. ...contrary to your post, Nigerian youth are not lazy as you said, or probably not all Nigerians youth are lazy. We are hard working. Just that the system only favour certain level of individuals and it's not easy to break even if you are not among certain clique. Despite the harsh economic policies and environment, we are pushing hard to invest for future generations. |

SalvationMopol: that's exactly my point bro. may Jah hammer your head with Oil of wisdom Amen baba... After service I travelled with my certificate and credentials from benin to lagos looking for job as fit I kept a job in lagos. After 1 full month in lagos without getting any reasonable job I had to come back home to think outside the box. I kept my certificate and think what I could do to make cash. I received about 80k- 90k per month without using any certificate. I am aiming high. If bank like make then call me, I nor go accept again because I have my time n space. I got an official job when I wasn't even interested. That man better drop the so called Msc and BSC and hit the street with his young vibrant brain to make money. Nigeria has no respect for your certificate. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 24 Year Old Msc Holder by butanep(m): 11:10pm On Apr 29, 2016 |
It is time people know the fact that your Bsc or Msc doesn't guarantee you a job in Nigeria nowadays. Nigeria has trun to man know man in terms of getting jobs.
Bros think outside the box and see what you can do to create wealth and cave a nitch for yourself. Only lazy people rely 100% on their certificate to make life meaningful for them.
Certificate is just a bonus but what you can do to make wealth is the real deal.
Life is tough in Nigeria. |
