Gabby91: Lolz. That would surely work. you'd be amazed at how quickly clothes appear from thin air. Some people can be mean, in these harsh times they don't think of how their daughter and her husband need help to cope with the financial problems especially at the first stage. Instead of thinking of how to ease their burden, they want to bury the man with more financial obligations. Some families are something else, the groom is someone 's son too. |

The cycle thing depends on individual, most still do have a normal circle. Please relax your mind on the twins issue, if it happens,it happens. If it doesn't, just be grateful that you can conceive at all. |

The groom should tell them to cancel all wedding arrangements if they can't find clothes to attend the wedding. That is exactly what I would do! |

cococandy: Umu okorobia these days sef.
Let me finish raising this my omoge and see which one will come to date her because he needs someone to cook for him. He will tell me whether if he doesn't know the address to catering schools around him. Dating who? When she is already betrothed to the finest of men? Nobody go smell near, they know their cooks when they see them . |
Family › Re: Do I Go Back Home? by byvan03: 6:32am On Jun 23, 2016 |
cococandy: Look at what lack of home training is causing. I DO mean to be harsh OP. a young person who cannot take care of themselves in basic things like cooking should go back to the drawing board. Maybe you should have learned how to cook before taking the bold step of moving out.
For those suggesting girlfriend aka cook, Whose daughter is going to be his glorified cook in the name of girlfriend? Someone like me? Psst.I'm sure if I raised all the girls in Nigeria, men like him will learn to cook by force because I ain't raising no one's maid. The nerve of those even suggesting it. As if a girl getting a boyfriend to foot her bills won't be bashed and taunted for wanting a man for other reasons than love. But it's okay for him to get a girlfriend because of food.
OP Get off your butt and LEARN TO COOK. Thank you! Whose daughter really? Mcchheeeww OP why does your mum 's once in a while visit bother you so much, what kind of a person are you really? Nawaooh!! Don't go back home, build your own niche. |

prettynerd: tnks everyone for taking ur time to reply, actually heard her side of the story, she said it was consensual, her current boyfrnd had to force her to confess to me after she confessed all her sexcapades to him which is the condition for him to marry her, she didn't even want me to know at all, she even called my fiance ( if i can still call him dat) and was quarelling with him for telling me, she said there was no emotions involved, she was just having weird fun and seduced him cos she thought we won't last too, i've never done anything to hurt her before o, only that i get angry with her a lot for living a careless life, the worst part is that she did same thing to two of my aunts husband. I feel she needs help mentally, but she still behave very normal only for this unveiled secret, STILL SHOCKED! Your sister is wayward, agreed. These men are blameless to you? Forgive this guy but give the marriage thing a break till you are convinced you are over it or can live with it for the rest of your life. |

Bollinger: Good point. This is why it further confuses me when women talk about equality. How can you be equal to someone who feeds and take care of you? Anyone see the irony in that? I'm all for equality but there must be eqaul responsibilities as well. I really don't concern myself with all these ideologies , all I know is that both genders must learn to treat each other with respect while they perform their distinct roles in a home . No gender is inferior to the other, one is leading as a punishment to the other for her disobedience in the garden of Eden. This means that from inception none was actually created to lead the other until they incurred their curse. It's better to let go of these ideologies that yields only confusion and just respect each other for our differences, appreciating both strength and weakness. Let the man be the man and the woman a woman. Their roles are complimentary, this should ideally yield perfection and not rancour. |

chiwetel: now that's the word..GREEDY.
I sincerely see no reason why she should ask for the 20k at all, talk more of anything more if she is working, when its not like the money is in abundance. For heaven's sake that's why she's working to supplement the family's finances and not to drain from the little available.Op its good you have lofty plans for the future, try discussing it with her once again, she needs to see reasons to completely support you in those plans, you both should be patners working together to secure a better future. I wonder why she is working. Greed keeps people like that perpetually poor because there is no end to their money thirst. |

MRBrownJ: so you believe that being good towards a child is the only thing that is required to be considered a good dad?! and however that chid is raised (whether good or bad) is irrelevant to this "good father" status?
- if i am a good dad but teaches my kids "with love" to hate mummy and her family, am i still a good dad?! - if i am a good dad but teaches my kids "with love" that hate/violence towards women, any religion or any race is "ok". am i still a good dad? No strength for to and fro, whatever you say is right . |
Family › Re: Excellent Dad Or An Excellent Husband by byvan03: 9:42pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
MRBrownJ: may i ask: since kids copy their parents, how can any man be considered a "good" dad if teaching their kids thats its ok to ill treat mama?! a bad husband ultimately becomes a bad role model for their kids (aka a bad dad). Parents are not perfect but most still love their kids and truly care about them. Their relationship with spouses is a story for another day. It might influence the kids negatively but at least they know that he still loves and treats them well regardless . What constitutes ill treatment differs from person to person, most the kids might not notice if it is subtle; the type that only the woman can tell. |
