You can always replace a bad husband, a dad you cannot. Know that every good husband makes a good dad but some good dads can't make good husbands. |
Romance › Re: Should I Hold On Or Just Move On by byvan03: 5:07pm On Jun 19, 2016 |
sweerychick: I understand you, and I can never be in an abusive relationship, what I meant is that it was an isolated incident, cos he warned me not to push him to the wall that the day, I dared him even to the extent of holding his clothes for him not to leave my presence, I think that was what infuriated him more, and he lost his temper and assaulted me, by slapping me and pushing me aside. He started weeping afterwards, when I left the house crying. He was begging me to come back but I didn't. My anger was that he waited for 4days before putting a call across me. Don't ever push this far with anyone please, I really can't put the blame on him for what you got. The problem here is that he isn't into you anymore, just move on with your dignity intact. Calling friends and asking them to speak on your behalf is childish, learn to have some sense of pride . He doesn't want you to stay, leaving is better than forcing it. Don't be too needy and pathetic, so your heart doesn't get too battered before you eventually meet the Mr right. |

Please forget this first love nonsense and move on. Don't waste your time hanging onto nothing when there are amazing people out there you could meet. Let go, be good, nature takes care of the good believe it or not. |

You don't wait for repeat, open your mouth and speak to who you married. Learn to communicate, I wonder why you didn't ask him immediately. Why are you on tip toes? Seems something is wrong with the union that you know about. |

Ishilove: What of those who can't afford washing machines or folks like me who prefer handwashing? It's OK to prefer hand washing, but going without it because you can't afford is a big deal for some. They should sell their phones and get one if they really need it. Nah them go know how to tidy their mess nah . I can hand wash but won't touch another person's jean with a 1000 inches pole, it's better sent to laundry men. |

Ioannes: no it is not her duty.
let your husband wash his and you wash yours and the kids wash theirs. you are nobody's slave.
meanwhile, let everybody go out and make their own money to cater for themselves, buy their own foodstuffs and keep in their rooms.
split the bills into the number of people in the family including your kids and let everyone chip in with paying the bills.
cook your own food alone and let everybody else take care of themselves in the family. if they like, let them go to the kitchen and cook. you are nobody's slave. not your husband, not your kids.
my point? there is no lasting marriage without love and there is no love without sacrifice. |

A man should was his own clothes. Actually there is no issue here. Just let your man know that on no circumstances will you wash his clothes, if he is cool, good. Yes, some men still pay all bills. |

People treat you the way you treat yourself. If you treat yourself with dignity, no one can treat you with disregard . Pride is all a man has got when everything else fail and if you lose that too, you are undone! |

Should a man pay all his wife's bills? Won't paying all bills make him an ATM or her slave ? Some questions are just somehow. These things won't be a problem in a healthy marriage. |
Family › Re: Is It A Woman's Responsibility/duty To Wash Her Husband's Clothes? by byvan03: 2:33pm On Jun 17, 2016 |
Some questions are just ridiculous, what does it really take to toss his clothes into a washing machine with yours? What will it take him to toss yours and his or just his into a washing machine? Couples serve each other, it's not a man or woman thing . People do these things out of love, it doesn't kill anyone. As long as no one is forcing you to, some things are just the right thing to do depending on circumstances. |

eyinjuege: I quite agree with you, but didn't want to call the wife names in my post. Sometimes a name that fits is needed for maximum impact, she is a very greedy woman. I can't even trust her type with money matters. I hope OP realises this and put his foot down now the marriage is early. The man pay all bills yet hers still isn't enough ? Should there be any stipend apart from being nice to ones wife every now and then? The thing annoy me pass her husband sef . |

She is working, I don't know why she is so interested in a stipend when you foot all the bills. She strikes me as greedy, she should be grateful. If she is not accepting the 20k, keep as part of your savings. Don't go trying to convince her to accept it anymore, you give your people money and it's a problem to her? When she isn't lacking? Best thing is to tackle the issue with Mr. Generous in a reasonable manner. Should he refuse to change his ways, it's better to be alone than to be with a wrong partner.
Even the Bible permits divorce on this ground. Thank you, no right thinking woman should risk her health and sanity over a public property . In the name of kids or religion, it usually ain't worth the stress . |
