Please tell which of the names in the link above are Yoruba?

Thanks  smiley
Who are the writers behind dat American nonsense. My guess is as good as yours. The YORUBA'S because your men want to kill all the yoruba women and marry ours but we won't stand for dat.

We know our culture and your American cabage is not it. In Nigeria it is a known fact that southwest men are over bearing/violent to their women, so much so that they bring home second and third wife. They beat their wife with cains like their children and ask them to call dem BABA.(FATHER) Am i lying.

You don't want me to start posting other cases of yoruba men murdering their wife in cold blood and bust your myth.

Yes or no, was Ndigbo not part of the propaganda that voted in GEJ?

This is not about being tribal, this is answering your previous post that had to do with GEJ being intelligent because he's from a MINORITY tribe and still became president. Minority or maxority has nothing to do with it. I was simply explaining how the whole election was a case of canned propaganda.
NO! Yoruba's were the author and finisher of election. All their media outlet did the work becos of the fear of Igbo.
He had an opportunity to be elected president, and neither should he be applauded from coming from a minority group.
Propaganda surrounded his whole election which gained him the grounds to become a president. He was not elected as a president based on the skills and intelligence he potentially possessed, but he won because of the whole emotional-string tied to this election.

1. When our former president suddenly died, this gave GEJ an opportunity above all others to take the seat.

2. The whole "change" propaganda,  esp the one brought to America (Obama's change) was still bright in Nigerians' mind, which made people believed that GEJ could dig NIgeria out of its hole being that he's not one of the big 3s (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa).

3. Igbos are emotional attracted to him because they were promised 2015. Not sure how this is possible since NIgeria is a democratic state, people elect the president. Nigeria is not in a state where power should be handed over because of the color of the skin. And oh yea, they also want to believe he's Igbo.

Nigerians voted on propaganda, not on intelligence or skills.
Somehow, i was able to interact with you with out mentioning tribes but Yorubas are just full of this tribal thing particularly with regards to Igbo. Obj and yorubas were ecstatic about GEJ because it presented an opportunity to marginalize the Igbo from wat rightful should be their attempt in all efforts to solve the problem that plague us all as a nation.

Yet the Igbo are not complaining that dey were excluded and denied the right to rule their own country, happily we went along with your GEJ now it is not working like u planned and again u are calling the Igbos. If u hate us dat much why not just split the country and have your Oduduwa Republic and let have Biafra. We were never an entity not until the British came along.

GEJ might have education (which is worth nothing), but where is his common sense? How has a degree in zoology helped Nigeria in the past 1 year? What moves has he made to show he has any common sense?
I will never say education is worth nothing because dat is untrue. As for common sense, I think he has plenty of it to have come from a minority group and be elected President in a ethnocentric country like ours. Nigeria as an entity is without common sense if u ask me to be honest.

Did we not elect a zoologist to be our President from a minority group?? You ask me how a degree in zoology has helped Nigeria in the past year but openly supported his presidency in the past year, who is lacking common sense now? About wat move he has made to show he has any common sense now at least he hasn't  fallen into any trap of his adversaries such as boko haram rather dey are slowly digging all their early grave.

2. List the "most intelligent", "intelligent" and "not so intelligent" president NIgeria has had so far.
Smart in my own state of mind is a person that has the benefit of hindsight. Pertaining to a president this should be manifest within the parameter of sustainable development measurable in the HDI formular and PPP. (figure wat that is urself)

The most intelligent President so far is undoubtedly Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe besides him the rest have been about self gain. I am waiting to equate the performance of GEJ.

Eziachi, is very much right on the fact that we Ndiigbo can't and shouldn't wait for federal Gov to convert the Enugu Airport to an International Airport. This is something we can do  for Enugu as the capital of Alaigbo. We have a responsibility to build Enugu into the kind of Capital City we dream of and can be proud of. Once we can get that right all other eastern territory will fall in place.

The point is that every State/region has challenges . I claim you don't have a point because you don't understand that I was not implying that the SW doe not have security challenges.  I am merely saying that the SE has challenges that is not the fault of anyone else even if some will unfairly want to blame the Yorubas for everything wrong in your lives!! Read what Calculia writes below . It is a direct example of what I am talking about . I.e it is the usual and tiresome Yorubas are "evil' and Igbos are "virtuous" nonsense any sensible adult can discountenance.  It is Yoruba folks who are always at fault. It is their actions that is always wrong, aggressive, malicious . It is the "medieval war-like" yorubas who are always to be found "devouring progressive elements" who can never do any wrong. Self-deceit may be amusing in children but it is not very funny in adults.

LMAO. TRUTH HURTS!

The way you talk, a non-Nigerian can be forgiven for thinking that the SE States must be sheer and exemplary testimony to development, fine architecture, sound infrastructure, thriving entertainment scene, security, peace and stupendous class-leading innovation .  It would also be in order to conclude, from your talks, that non-SE state are far behind SE States and that  non-Igbo people are dullard not capable of having the 'fine' SE State Igbo "supreme" prowess has built. Sadly the reality does not match your delusions of grandeur. Instead , it is all of Nigeria that is far more underdeveloped than is desirable.

If all Igbos leave Lagos and the SW, as unreasonable feudalists want, are we to just assume that will now mean what has not happened in the past will miraculously materialize now i.e the SE States will suddenly become far more developed than other States in the way London is far ahead of Katsina? Every State is capable of development. It is only feudalists who think they have some 'magic formula' that makes them better than others when the reality on the ground exposes this to be deluded thinking.
Call me wat u like but my ideas are to the point and far from feudalistic but contemporary and meritocratic. We live in a Nigeria with medieval war like clan such as your's and hausa/fulani, clamoring to territory via claim to indigenuity and gruesomely devouring progressive elements that care not so much for territory but for the improved living standard of Nigerians via labour and acquired capital through trade in time of peace as the process to attain progress on many fronts for us all.

Is it any surprise to you now dat the idea had been tested and proven to be flawed dat we dare to dream of any alternate reality were we are no longer a pawn to be used, abused and destroyed by our willful adversary. I truely believe dat the southeast and south south Nigeria have been blessed by God to attain enviable hieghts in the African continent and dat destiny from hence fouth has been left no choice but to start manifestation.  Thank you.
TravelRe: Aviation Ministers since GEJ: Covert Reason For Enugu Int. Airport?? by Calculia: 3:29pm On Jul 05, 2011
Eziachi:
Some like you are missing the point. There is no such thing as tribal airport, only in Nigeria. I will go to Lagos if I had business to attend in Lagos that doesn't require me to go home and its within my budget, rather than going to Enugu, when I don't need to and its expensive.
But if I am home just to rest and see my family and my wife, children and grand children are with me, I will rather pay over the odd to go to Enugu and knowing that few hours later after arrival, we are all safe at home drinking some nice palm wine with the family than to pay far less into Lagos and then risk all my household travelling back to the East.

Your sentiment is not the reason or why we wanted a full fledged int' airport in Enugu. Count me out if the reason is to make MMA or Abuja airports useless or tribal airports.
No, someone like u is missing the point. The big idea here is to develop the southeast to the point that we do not go to order region but they come to us. Wat exactly is in Lagos for go sack that we can have in the southeast twice over.

I want all the yorubas in the southwest to have Lagos and all the igbos and south south, south east leave lagos for the east and let us see wat the place will be like in a number of years.

Lagos is wat it is today because of us and wen we leave with out resources and entrepreneur skills it will fall. Buildings do get old and outdated if that is wat u are worried about. Roads do get bad. Ndiigbo should leave lagos and lets do business in the south east and build it pain stakeingly from scratch.

ekt_bear
BTW, you can get international flights directly into PH.
No an International Airport in Enugu will serve Ndiigbo and Foreign Business partner from abroad coming to the eastern part of Nigeria to trade and do business very well. We in the south east do boast of money making resources dat will definately bring in alot of investors and dat airport will be crucial to south east development. Very soon lagos will be only for the yorubas. That is all they have in the southwest. Thank you!

I challenged you to give me a single Village in Benue that is Igbo ancestry but you find it difficult to find an answer.
Aifam-Owukpa in Ogbadibo LGA, Okpokwu is a Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria.

In Benue u have entire local gov that have Igbo ancestry dat are refered to as Idoma ranging from Oju, Obi, Okpokwu,  Ohimini to Ogbadibo LGA(Aifam-Owukpa village)
The whole of Benue south that borders with Ebonyi, cross River and Enugu states are entirely Idoma(Igboid) and Efik groups with heavy mixing. The Idomas/ parts of Igalas and Igboid group should join to create the sixth southeast state.

or all Benue zoned southeast, if dat will make Idomas HAPPY. grin Come back 2 your family becos we are many and not just igbo. grin There is efik, ibibio, ijaw, annang and many mor all this group don't cmplain about igbo domination and we coexist peacefully together and inter-marry. Join our region if it suits u. wink
