Is he the first best graduating student of LASU? Why haven't all the other best graduating students ever received such appreciations? The fact is he is connected some how, that's why the governor aware and dolling out such sum. Next year, no money for best graduating student in same university if he is a poor unconnected dude- FACT! Congratulations to him anyway. Just hope everyone gets equal treatment in this country irrespective of creed, ethnicity or social class. |
Nigeriabiafra80:Living in deceit. Dreamer, dream on. You'll chase Buhari and leave the seat vacant abi? Your useless opposition is there bickering about little things for 4 years. They have no formidable candidate 9 months to the election. None! When next you brag about voting PMB about, remember you don't even have a replacement! |
Wash |
SalamRushdie:Mark my words. Only GEJ can make that happen. FYI I don't like GEJ |
obonujoker:It obvious you've accepted the fact that its PMB till 2023. Some deluded folks shout PVCs up and down, brag about sending the dullard back to daura without thoughts of whose replacing the dullard, SMH!!! Its less than 8 months to the elections and I don't see Nigerians agreeing on a unanimous candidate now. Only GEJ can unite all divergent PMB haters now. |
SalamRushdie:Yeah sure. 2019 elections will be sweet and stress less for PMB. I can't argue that. I don't see GEJ contesting again. If he does, then we'll have an actual contest. |
richeso:Under GEJ herdsmen were on rampage in southern Kaduna, plateau state and Nasarawa eggon. Boko haram were bombing at will. He built Almajiri schools that were never used. This post isn't an endorsement of GEJ. Im just submitting that GEJ is the only popular figure on the political scene that has a chance of defeating PMB now given the pathetic style of PMB governance and worsening conditions. |
obonujoker:This post isn't really an endorsement of GEJ, its mostly an analysis. If Nigerians really think they want to kick PMB out in 2019, they should just know that GEJ is the only realistic alternative at this late hour |
Goodluck Jonathan is the only person with any chance of defeating PMB in the upcoming elections, if he chooses to contest. Otherwise, PMB all the way till 2023. Under PMB: 1. Boko Haram is still a threat. Gains 6 weeks prior to 2015 elections have been lost. 2. Shites have been targeted, killed and unfairly treated. 3. IPOB youths were brutally killed and their lawful protests unheard. 4. Fulani herdsmen have killed thousands while suspiciously conniving with the military 5. Maina a corrupt civil servant who fled investigation was reinstated and promoted. He ridiculously disappeared again 6. Tukur Buratai, Abba Kyari, former SGF and many others are roaming free, no investigation! 7. We experienced fuel scarcity, unprecedented in our history despite the so-called removal of fuel subsidy. 8. PMB isn't as prudent as he was taunted. He wears expensive designer shoes, flies private jets and his close associates are over night billionaires shamelessly flaunting their wealth 9. PMB spends trillions on foreign medical trips. He has failed to improve the Nigerian health sector in any way! 10. PMB probably recovered funds but this funds has not translated to improved infrastructure or human capital development. 11. Many more people live in extreme poverty under PMB. Many more lost their jobs and companies closed. The suffering is unbearable. 12. PMB's WIFE declared publicly that his government isn't under his control and she has severally condemned his actions 13. PMB's daughter declared that she preferred GMB to PMB 14. The inspector general of police, chief of army staff, NHIS boss, chief of staff, minister of budget planning, head of service have all displayed acts of insubordination with no consequence! 15. Our legislature under PMB is a joke! Everyone brags about sending PMB back to daura or voting out the APC without thoughts as to who will replace him. Will the seat in Aso rock be vacant? With the level of our diversity, its impossible to come up with a unanimous candidate at this crucial time. GEJ still has reasonable acceptability nationwide and with a little polishing can give APC a run for their money. If GEJ doesn't run in 2019: Buhari still wins come 2019! |

Lots of images I love to have on nairaland but when I download them, the format is "bin" and I have not been able to open any of the images I saved from nairaland. Any one with an idea should help. Thanks. Lalasticlala |
After you will hear them saying ndigbo natabanu. Nataba my foot! |
Full tank at NNPC filling station bukuru, jos South LGA, plateau state. At 1. 50pm today. Stayed on queue from 5. 30am. One tank of 40000 litres was offloaded after hours of controversy. Supply started after series of consultations. Lots of impatient motorists and at least two serious accidents occurred on the queue. Total filling station bukuru just got supplied. Taen station is also selling. NNPC station building materials market is also selling. That's my situation report. |
If it was a mosque now some Muslims will start killing Christians in Kano! |
Foolishking:If you fail to participate in the zoo elections, your governors whom you claimed betrayed you will continue in power. Your voice in every sphere will be further suppressed. The marginalisation will be more intense and horrific. Your Biafran aspirations will be merely a fantasy. Get your voters card. Mobilise against your governors and senators. After 2019, every igbo, including those in power will speak better |
pazienza:How will they pay with their seats when you do not intend to participate in Nigerian politics of elections? |
months:How do you intend to vote out the governors when there will be no elections in Biafra land? |
It's not impossible. God is omnipotent. I never question God's ability. I don't know if this guy is a con artist. What I do know is that life is spiritual otherwise humans are no different from dogs! The spiritual controls the physical. Don't let false prophets mess your brain into thinking God is incapable of supernatural things |
Well... |
Words matter! What you say or type now could douse or worsen the tensions. Illiterates in the south east and the north have taken up arms while the barely literate ones type crap on social media. In the end death knows no tribe, IQ or creed. May God have mercy on the millions of innocent Igbo kids in the north who do not know KANU or care about his Biafra |
A lot of speculations abound as to the nature and severity of the ailment that torments our dear president. Very few clues are available. Besides the Manhattan nuclear project of world war 2, this would seem to be the most tightly held secret in history. His doctors in Nigeria once revealed he had menniere's disease; an ear disorder associated with vertigo, disorientation and partial deafness. At some point, unnamed sources approached a popular online news blog with information he had prostate cancer. President Buhari's admission to blood transfusion while on medical tourism showed he had developed anaemia, the cause of which is still unknown. Probably cancer ![]() In Kaduna, spiral bound fliers were distributed freely, contents of which alluded that the president had been poisoned via the aso rock ventilating system. This has immence potentials for catastrophy. Today however, pictures emanating from an albeit harmless visit to the president in his comfortable home revealed another sign that could potent grave organ dysfunction. BABA HAS SIGNIFICANT PEDAL OEDEMA (LEG SWELLING, UP TO THE ANKLES AT LEAST) What are the causes of leg swelling? Let's review a few. 1. Anaemia (blood shortage): Could it be that Buhari is still anaemia, even after 2 pints of blood? What is the cause of this anaemia? Cancer is known to be associated with a triad of signs and symptoms : anaemia, anorexia and ashenia. In simple words, blood shortage, lack of appetite and weight loss. In the setting of cancer, this could be recurrent. 2. Congestive cardiac failure: This would not be out of place, considering his age. Other common symptoms could include easy fatiguability, breathlessness on moderate exertion ; could be the reason he wants to work quietly from home. 3. Kidney failure: Again considering his age, this is likely. It might require repeated sessions of dialysis/ visits to your specialist. 4. Liver failure 5. Others such as low blood protein level, prolonged immobilization, e.t.c I think president Buhari has prostate cancer. What's your take? |
Dereformer:why do you care what happens in Nigeria? I thought its Biafra or death? Leave Nigeria deal with its thieves. Focus on Biafra |
If you go by what is written on social media you will assume the following; 1. Igbos only recide within the south east 2. There is no Igbo man in other parts of Nigeria 3. Igbos viciously hate and despise every other tribe 4. Igbos have more claim to Niger delta and its resources than the indigenous people of Niger delta 5. Igbos and Yoruba are often in armed conflicts, killing each other 6. Igbos and yorubas never intermarry 7. The north is better educated than other regions in Nigeria and have succeeded in pitching the igbos against the yorubas so as to maintain their grip on the machinery of gorvernance . 8. Igbos will immediately relinquish their multi billion dollar investments and relocate to Biafra as soon as the republic is created 9. There is no middle belt. The benue, nasarawa and plateau communities aren't different from the north that's why they intensely oppose Nnamdi Kanu and lent their voice in the declaration of a quit notice 10. Nigeria has never had a civil war in which the igbos were decimated 11. Nnamdi KANU has a back up plan, some solid international support, a stock pile of arms that could vanquish Europe 12. Ipob is actually peaceful and never compel anyone to obey their sit at home order. Their rallies aren't turbulent or chaotic, just a smooth priestly procession 13. Ipob and the threat of secession has received more attention from the media and federal government than the upsurge of boko haram attacks and recovery of territory. 14. The federal government is unpredictable, the constitution is crap. Elzakzaky would rot in prison, Oba of Ife will die custody, ipob members will be gunned down at will, Court rulings will be ignored at will. 15. Fulani herdsmen are an invisible group of night marauders. Unknown, slippery and highly evasive. |

If your opinion on issues is only based on what you see on social media, sorry for you. Social media put Buhari in Aso rock, now see where we are! |
Quit notice again? |
Hmmm |
nawtyme:I appreciate the fact that you made your point without insults. You've made more sense than thousands of Ipob members who resort to insults when they have no argument. Asking igbos to relocate to the east in the near future will be suicidal. There are probably more igbos outside biafran territory than within. There is no sufficient infrastructure, trade routes, ports, international alliances to accommodate the millions that would return. A little food embargo will result in grave famine. Nigeria isn't working but thousands of igbos are migrating into more interior areas of Nigeria: this is the irony I can't understand. Ipob has no diplomacy in its approach. No country can stand alone. Why will states and communities be carved into today's Biafra without consulting with the traditional heads ( not politicians). Its very embarassing when such communities begin to announce that they arent part of biafra.I don't see any strategy or organisation in the entire plan. Everyone in the movement seem impulsive and that is dangerous. Ojukwu seemingly had no choice or sufficient time when he declared secession, but today we have reasonable time to plan and strategise. Igbos aren't ready for Biafra, there's a lot of work yet to be done |
Etogist:You sounded like a typical, irrational, insultive IPOB member. Never capable of reasonable discourse. You seem not to have any points. If a debate is organised for or against biafra, can you make any points? Or will you just insult everyone and leave? This is the 21st century, make your points. If you're invited to the UN, is this what you'll say indefence of your hallowed pursuit of Biafra? You're insulting every tribe and every nation. You insult even the south south guys yet you want allies.True igbos are matured please |
If the igbos honestly want Biafra. They should forthwith relocate to the east, within Biafran territory! If you are so angry with Nigeria and would no longer be a part of it, show some mettle, LEAVE! OR HENCEFORTH BE QUIET. If you are outside biafran territory and you are typing outrageously harsh, ridiculous, stuff about a country you are glued to like a parasitic tick something is definitely wrong with you. I see igbos in the most remote parts of the north earning a living. Igbos aren't stupid, they didn't leave juicy opportunities in the east to travel 12 horrendous hours from home. They know the truth deep within; IT'S A HARD LIFE IN THE EAST. The east is also yet to distinguish itself as an outlier, a place where justice and equal opportunities are available. Many Igbos searched for jobs for years in the east and lived in penury. Only when they left did they stabilise. If Biafra is created, will we import new, just and kind igbos from elsewhere? Many times after a riot in the north, thousands of igbos are killed. In the heat of the moment, they all relocate to the east, however none of them would last 2 months in the east. Go to kano and see, the threat to their lives in the north is better embraced than the prospects of earning livelihood in the east. Don't tell me about UN conventions protecting foreigners in another country. How well did the conventions help during the xenophobic attacks in south Africa? Till date no compensations. Igbos really need to think this true, no rush into secession like in 1967. Biafra currently has no allies, only evil countries quietly waiting to suck the east if war begins. None of this countries have made credible official statements about the struggle as they did for palestine, south sudan and others. Igbos aren't ready for Biafra. Just rushing without calculated thoughts. If you are part of the middle belt or south west insulting ipob doesn't in anyway serve your interest. I'll rather you be introspective. Which move in this power tussle would help you get a better deal from Nigeria? Are you oppressed in anyway? Who is the oppressor? Who invades your farms, rapes your women? Who has unleashed genocidal attacks on your communities in Agatu, Barkin Ladi, Nassarawa eggon e.t.c. I do not ask you to embrace or be part of Biafra, just apply wisdom. Don't make the mistakes of 1967. Igbos are not your real enemies! Shine your eyes! Finally I've said my mind after months of holding in. FYI I am a bonafide igbo like you hasty critics but I think with my brain not my heart. Be objective not emotional, BE INTERACTIVE NOT INSULTIVE LIKE A MATURED HUMAN |
