PoliticsRe: Buhari Threatens To Quit Apc Over National Publicity Secretary Position by Caleboha(m): 10:08pm On Sep 20, 2013
Time for noise and party is over! Nows the time to test the strength of Nigeria's biggest opposition party! If every disagreement is visited with the threat of a break up, its not a good sign. If splitting up the party is a frequent bargaining tool then they are not quite ready for the fight at hand. May be Bisi Akande will apply a little more tact to save Buhari's ego as a vital personality in the party considering he is willing to quit the race as party flag bearer (something I find very hard to believe, yet laudable) and Buhari should not see every issue as a question of who is most influencial in the party!
IslamRe: Nigerian Wins Muslim Beauty Pageant Rival To Miss World by Caleboha(m): 10:09pm On Sep 19, 2013
This is not pure islam! Women are not supposed to expose their faces, show up in public places like these and compete for such mundane things as pageantry. Totally unislamic and a a reflection of the huge influence the west has on muslims. If such modifications are allowed in an albeit hardline religion, women should never be stoned to death again for adultery or whatever. We should start from there. Women should also be allowed to choose who they'll get married to and when they want to!!!

PoliticsRe: 40 Soldiers Killed, 65 Missing In Boko-Haram Ambush by Caleboha(m): 4:12pm On Sep 18, 2013
I've cried reading this news and the responses from fellow nigerians. Regrets, weeping and sadness is only impulsive and there's nothing cerebral about it. Some things are evident and we must never forget them! 1. Boko Haram was informed and well prepared for the ill fated invasion. 2. This is Nigeria, a country with conflicting tribal and religious interests. 3. The overt imperfections in our polity is resident in the military circles. 4. Most Nigerians, especially our leaders still celebrate mediocrity. 5. If this never happened we'll never have known how deficient we are. 6. Whatever does not destroy us makes us stronger. RIP to the dead!
PoliticsRe: Mimiko Declares 7-Days Of Mourning For Agagu by Caleboha(m): 9:48pm On Sep 15, 2013
The exit of Agagun and d lack lustre farewell messages that follow should serve as a lesson to our chunk of self-serving myopic leaders. He had a once in a life time opportunity to leave an indelible mark that will immortalise him but he played the mediocre, wasn't in any way exceptional. Now he's gone, either strolling in paradise or lost in hades, either way the wealth of the world is irrelevant. Agagun is dead, he left without a penny. Dust to dust, soldier come, soldier go! sad

PoliticsRe: Ombatse Cult Kill 50 People In Nasarawa by Caleboha(m): 7:16am On Sep 15, 2013
I've read excerpts of an interview with Ombatse cult head. Sounded peace loving and rational to me. I'm guessing this recent killings is an act of self defence or a reprisal. I will love to know and make public the war tactics employed by dis guys. Some brainless nomads have moved from one village to another destroying farms and lives altogether unchecked. Our security apparatus have remained impotent or sabotaged. All communities must learn to crush those blood thirsty vagabons. They must learn THE OMBATSE WAR STRATEGY! angry
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo, Atiku Are Finished Politically – Jubril Aminu by Caleboha(m): 7:00am On Sep 15, 2013
If only GEJ will listen to such advice! But he wouldn't. He'll keep trying to make peace with unforgiving greedy renegades, he'll beckon on Kwankwaso to stand by his side for a picture, lock up Amaechi's Official residence, annul Al-mustapha's death penalty, visit prophet TB fortnightly..... If he'll make 2015 a more covert quest and focus on winning the hearts of Nigerians Atiku and his antics will be history!
PoliticsRe: If I’m Shot Today. It’s The Police Acting On Orders From Presidency’ – Amaechi T by Caleboha(m): 5:34pm On Sep 14, 2013
It wouldn't be out of place to think of Amaechi as a cry baby trying to arouse sympathy except that in this case something serious has happened! The chief security officer of Rivers state, it's number one citizen was denied access to his official residence by the police! We can say categorically now that Amaechi's post as governor is ceremonial and the streets of PH is unsafe . I think GEJ is stretching the feud too far. Picking out Amaechi as scape goat is just lame. GEJ should try all the other tough-talking govs na, those ready to play dirty if he is man enough! sad

PoliticsRe: I Am Not Afraid Of You ––governor Lamido Dares Jonathan by Caleboha(m): 8:18pm On Sep 13, 2013
KnowAll: How many miles is Duste to Lagos = 800 km.
How many miles is Dutse to Abuja = 450 km

This gentleman with all intent and purposes, living 100's of miles from Lagos(the media capital of Naija and also doubling as the propaganda capital of the nation) and Abuja(the Political Capital) Has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is the most astute, best Financial Manager amongst all the Governors in the nation, considering his low-income based allocation. He is the best when it comes to service-delivery to his people. He has transformed a dusty, back-water called Duste in particular and Jigawa State in general into a sahelian wonderland that one can only envy.

To have this kind of ingenious silent performer at the centre would be like " a second manna-from heaven ". Let us make it happen, Lamido has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he can deliver. What are we waiting for, that is our next President, so boys and girls let us get started.

Forget Fashola, Forget Akpabio, Forget Amechi and Forget Sullivan, Lamido is the real deal. He is a thousand times ahead of the aforementioned, so let us vote-in Lamido.

Empty head! Claiming to know all but you know nothing. Comparing Lamido with Fashola and Akpabio unveils your folly! If for nothing else, staying very far from the media capital implies he'll be very backward, archaic and unrefined in his approach to issues in this very advanced world. Used to like Lamido but daring Jonathan openly in this tacit conflict aint it!

PoliticsRe: Rebel PDP Governors Ask Jonathan To Remove Sambo As VP & Replace One Of Them by Caleboha(m): 7:16pm On Sep 12, 2013
APC is never a viable option for these renegades. They're looking for power and recognition, not getting lost in the shadow of an irrepressible Buhari! smiley
PoliticsRe: CAN Gives Kwara 7-day Ultimatum To Redress Discrimination Against Christians by Caleboha(m): 8:04am On Sep 12, 2013
The teachings of Christ in the Bible never approves the show of wrath against a fellow man even in the face of aggression! Never! Jesus said "love your enemies" he also said "be as wise as a serpent, gentle as a dove". Jesus said he is sending us out as sheeps amongst wolves, that exactly depicts the apparent vulnerability of christians hence their total reliance on God. Mr CAN chairman you've lost it, because of your crave for fame and money. You're not representing us!
PoliticsRe: All Progressives Congress (APC) To Form Alliance With The New PDP by Caleboha(m): 7:44am On Sep 12, 2013
Pukkah: APC currently has two governors in the SS (Edo) and South East (Imo).

PDP has no governor in the South West.

So how did you arrive at PDP being more national in outlook than APC?

edit
. PDP had no governor in the south west but the masses voted massively for PDP in the 2011 presidential polls. It was a landslide victory for PDP. You could have the governor and lose the people. We've seen very poor mobilisation in the SS, SE and middlebelt. Moreso you have Buhari and his bullies trying force down every idea that pops in their head down the throats of everyone, case in point- biometric data capturing of members of the APC. CPC members walked out of the meeting after failing to bully others into supporting them. Can you please mention anybody from the SE, SS or middlebelt whose voice could equal that of Buhari or Tinubu in APC
PoliticsRe: All Progressives Congress (APC) To Form Alliance With The New PDP by Caleboha(m): 6:51pm On Sep 11, 2013
APC is tending towards a northern party, thanks to the overwhelming influence of CPC and the dogged followership Buhari carries. 90% of the new PDP faction is of Northern extraction too. If they merge with APC, ACN and its yoruba representation will simply fizzle out. As is the usual case with a regional party you'll notice the reluctance of APC to fully connect with the south-south, south-east and the middle belt. PDP is still the true nigerian party, its very obvious. Its a party whr every and anyone can aspire and have a voice. APC must work hard to avoid a total northern dominance or that will signal her obituary!!!!

PoliticsRe: Borno Government Planned Destruction Of 20 Churches Causes Outrage by Caleboha(m): 9:09am On Sep 09, 2013
Ethno-religious sentiments is flourishing in Nigeria, from top to bottom but we all live in self deception, many of us try to pretend it doesn't exist. We try to express rational or logical views on why 20 churches and 20 church owned schools will be demolished by the government of BORNO! Our healing will only start when we sincerely accept we're infested by a cancer that has stunted our growth and work towards building bridges. undecided
PoliticsRe: I‘ll Not Contest In 2015 – Jonathan (2011) by Caleboha(m): 8:54am On Sep 09, 2013
GEJ is not the first politician to change his mind with regards to seeking re-election. Its common place when you factor in influence from his community, friends, beneficiaries and psycofants. Even God changed his mind concerning Hezekiah why can't GEJ do same? I beg to say that this thread is utterly useless and inspired by mischief. Why is everyone scared of GEJ re-contesting? Its cowardly! They all panic whenever his 2015 intentions is brought up yet they call him weak and dull. If he is really dull and weak, defeat him at d polls!!! Gawwd! Una dey vex me oooo. I'm not Jonathan's fan by the way, just amazed @d panic GEJ's re-election bid is causing! angry
PoliticsRe: PDP: Jonathan 2015 Ambition Is No-go Area by Caleboha(m): 3:26pm On Sep 08, 2013
I think its just cowardly and ridiculous to insist a citizen drops his political ambition in a democracy! The most you can do is lobby, not insist and threaten anarchy. If you're good enough, beat him at d polls! The most amazing thing is that they went ahead to form a new PDP, must it be a "PDP"huh If you're strong enough, take over the party machinery from within otherwise leave PDP alone! PDP is not by force! Evil confusionists! angry
PoliticsRe: Russian President Issues Threat To Route Technology Elsewhere If The West Attack by Caleboha(m): 7:04am On Sep 06, 2013
Syria is a mess already, things will get worse with or without America's intervention. A hundred thousand dead and 1500 dead from sarin gas in a few seconds. America should stay out of the war. Apparently their desire to rid the world of wickedness and inhumanity is no longer appealing to everyone else. America leave the world as it is, free for all! Only defend yourselves. RIP to the millions of women and children that will die from sarin gas. The UN is terribly slow and impotent! If we wait for them we will never know who used the gas.

Christianity EtcRe: T.B. Joshua Doesn't Support Military Action Against Syria by Caleboha(m): 8:33am On Sep 05, 2013
Some muslims blame America for everything that happens in the world today. They blaim America for protests in Tunisia, protests against Hosni Mubarak, protests for Hosni Mubarak, Protests for Moh'd Morsi, protest against Moh'd Morsi, destruction of churches in Egypt, War in Libya, destruction of lives by boko haram, use of chemical weapons in syria, supporting alqaeda rebels in syria. It hardly makes logical sense but they just find a way of connecting the dots and placing America at the epicentre of all ills in the world. I don't blame them though, they've been tought from infancy to hate America no matter what. America has gained nothing in terms of public image from all her sacrifice. They should therefore stay out of Syrian war even if a nuclear bomb explodes there. Even when children and women die in their thousands of sarin gas they should stay out of it. Let us all suffocate in the stench that will rise from the syrian war. Do you think America is very happy fighting on the side of Alqaeda rebels- her worst enemyhuh At this point it just seemed imperative that Assad be punished for crossing the line!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Too Weak, A Total Disappointment – Asari Dokubo by Caleboha(m): 8:00am On Sep 05, 2013
ayusco85: Its not about weakness, its about honouring an agreement he signed to go only one term. The north arent stupid
Did you see the document he signed? Religious bigot! Ok, we agree power will go to the north in 2015 but David Mark will be the man in Aso rock. Are you happy? I guess not. Isn't he a northerner? Of course, its just that he's not a Muslim and as such unfit for the seat. We all know what you mean, when you insist power must move to the north. Mind you I have nothing against muslims and I'm not GEJ's fan but I hate bigotry with a passion!
