There's a fill for a Nigerian residential address as well as a proposed UK residential address.

Good afternoon all. I’ve been a silent follower of this thread and finally I’ve a question to ask, will be glad if y’all can help out. My husband just got a conditional offer from Coventry which includes 28 days bank statements. We were actually waiting for the offer before running the account (for visa application purpose) but now that the school is making it a condition we won’t be able to meet their condition deadline which is 9th August. I don’t know if there’s any way out of this or any suggestions from you guys, we are so worried and confused. Don’t know what to do, your ideas will definitely go a long way. Thank you!

Please those going to Teesside have you gotten feedback after the mandatory questionnaire. It’s been 2 weeks now with mine.

You will get a feedback after you apply for CAS. The feedback is positive is you get your CAS, it's negative if you are told to fill the questionnaire again.

As in..Teeside is frustrating person.. I have sent emails no response. Called their Nigeria office no one picks...and I don't know what to do..I am confused whether I should proceed with my deposit payment or not

You can actually go on with your deposit. Call this number and drop a voice note. +44 1642 988312. You should go ahead and drop a VN if they do not answer your call on time. They will call you back themselves.

P.s- make sure you say your applicant number at the beginning of the VN.

University of derby dey provoke me. I was given conditional admission and have submitted my documents for unconditional Admission since last week no response. Today I spend almost 1k card dey call them make they attend to me to get unconditional Admission. Now so I call difference academic unit. Nothing still happen. Am thinking of processing my other admission given to me by others university since derby want to frustrate me

While you wait for the gurus, I think you can ask your school's accommodation services. All the schools I applied to have advice on letting from outside landlords and some a few suggestions on agencies. Is this unavailable in your school? Requesting to speak to current international students can help too.

Most UK universities doesn't require you to write the IELTS. Once you have your WAEC certificate, you are good to go. Do a research on your preferred University and check their specific requirements for English proficiency.

Accommodation scammers, plenty in the UK......

Rule of thumb - :

- Use agents with a physical presence on the high street
- If using online agents, NEVER pay cash (offer credit card deposits). If deposits is over £100.10, you can make a section 75 claim......
- Never be rushed into making/taking a decision
- When you eventually get the keys, before you move in (ENSURE you take video and photographic evidence of the property, EMPTY)..... Ensure everything you might think is irrelevant, are documented......

NB: Check through university intranet slots, school boards, student unions + network with fellow students......

You can decide to pay your deposit before getting your unconditional offer. Please note that it not compulsory. What is mandatory is that you must make a deposit of £4000 before you get a confirmation of offer letter.
