Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, have arrested a suspected drug trafficker, Obivuko Ifeanyi, with 210grams of substances that tested positive for cocaine.

[size=20pt]Obivuko, who inserted the drugs into his anus,[/size] was detected with the aid of a body scanner during the inward clearance of passengers for Turkish airline flight No.TK0625 from Brazil.

The NDLEA airport commander, Hamza Umar, said drug traffickers were currently on the run from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport as a result of a renewed onslaught by his men, coupled with the new body scanner donated by the United States of America (USA) government, which had greatly improved the NDLEA’s efficiency, Obivuko, according to him had decided to take the risk and was apprehended.
