BreconHills:best comment on this thread so far. You can't discount the influx of the Igbos anyway. They just bought illegally from FHA and lawlessness started creeping into the facets of the once beautiful town, before we knew it, Agberos opened their base on 23 Road and gradually the decay became unstoppable. A one-bedroom flat on 22 Road would have 10 occupants living there and the crime rate would increase. At the end of the day, the original occupants let it rot. I heard some block of flats had working phone after it was allocated and water board was ran efficiently. When people try to circumvent the system, Festac Village is what you get. |
GboyegaD:That was my Primary School, I graduated from there in 1992. I was the Timekeeper in Primary 6 and Mrs Oke was our headmistress. Truth be told, Illegal houses, hotels, and prostitution made Festac lose its glory. Festac was compared to Lekki Peninsula and Ikoyi, this was before people started trooping to Ajah and its environs. |
Danniedpastor:The Eastern people messed that up with their forced occupation and prostitution and drugs damaged Festac. Festac was compared to Ikoyi back in the day. |
Yungmil:I’m sorry bro, I just saw your message months after. Oranges work for sure. At least it worked for me |
Question for you; How much of the wedding cost is borne by you? If he is the one doing everything then STFU and let him take charge but if he is not, you either stand your ground or remove yourself from the relationship. |
On one of the pictures he uploaded, the date read August 19th 2020, which means he is a chronic beggar. |
I’ve had it in 2012 and I tried anusol and the rest but that didn’t help me until I decided to buy orange worth #200 (when the value of $1 to naira was #180) and when I woke up the next day, the size of the round growth was reduced by more than 50% and I repeated the same process the next and of further reduced and before the end of the week, it was all gone and clear. Thank me now for that cure. Take like 10 oranges at a time. I shared my cure with someone else and it worked for them too |
The interviewer is a bully and she is biased against the woman. |
AsiwajuNdigbo:Please grow up, the man is not claiming to be mohammed or jesus christ. No one has heard from the dead man or from the ex wife or the Mr. Adam. We are all speculating without hearing from all sides. |
All I see people blaming Mr. Adams for falling in love with a married woman, it's not an uncommon occurrence and there are more questions that beg for answers for example: 1. How did he not know that the kids are not his? 2. How did Mr. Adams and his baby mama cause his death? it's been over 2 years since she left with her kids. 3. There was no love in their home and he ignored the signs and all this emerging news is just propaganda. 4. What if the man had issues with making babies? I feel for the family of the dead man, but this man ignored the signs and let everyone move on. |
juniorstar:Hushpuppi will probably get 2-5 years in jail if convicted. |
Detective Tutuola, a fictional character in Law and Order SVU was named after Amos Tutuola. The show is in its 21st season. One of my favourite TV shows |
SocialJustice:You are ignorant. |
Akaegwu:I know it's hard for you to have a deep understanding of how things are run in this country. These guys (politicians) are all the same irrespective of where they come from, be it west, north and east, they have the same goal. I'm sure you are not surprised that the courts freed orji uzor kalu. The common man that is trying to survive is not your problem, we are all oppressed by the motherfuckers. |
veraponpo:I don't know of anyone who likes to pay taxes, You have to enforce it. Nigeria govt is lax about enforcement and until they start going after the celebrities and the politicians, no one will take them serious about tax collection. |
That guy was in Olamide's Bobo video. Yahoo bois. I knew the guy back then in 41rd festac, One day we actually trekked from 22 road to Agboju together and the next time I saw him after like 5 years, he was driving a range rover and had another one driven by a guy from his crew. He deserves to pay for the crime. |
BlastAfonja:Only in nigeria will people like you think having money automatically means jail time. It is not a criminal offense, worst case scenario is linda will charge her to court for defamation and libel. If Linda wins, the court will award her some money and maybe some more punitive damages. And she files for bankruptcy if she is unable to pay. Shikena civil matter. |
bjnice:Torres did not play with suarez at liverpool but he played with denis suarez at athletico and you all remember that benitez has coached liverpool, chelsea intermilan real madrid and Valencia |

Stop this praise of a man you know nothing, more was said of GMB now PMB, what has that resulted to? Failed promises and a worse economy. Be warned. quote author=TonyeBarcanista post=66907105]@tonyebarcanista It is not a debate that Nigerians are fed up with the present administration of Muhammadu Buhari, the debate on the lips of many is, who among those vying for the office is worthy enough to earn the trust and vote of Nigerians for the top job. Having taken time to analyse all the aspirants from the major opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party, it is in my humble belief that His Excellency, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, the immediate past National Chairman of the party and former Governor of Kaduna state is the most credible alternative for the Presidency and the most sellable candidate among the multitude vying for the seat. The reasons? Read on; Makarfi As Governor Of Kaduna State Among the governors that had served Kaduna state, Ahmed Makarfi is the only person that is considered acceptable by all segment of the population. Though a Fulani Muslim, he is loved so much by the non-Fulani Christians of southern Kaduna, this is beside the fact that the Fulani Muslim population in zones 1&2 see him as a man after their heart. Makarfi is seen as a bridge-builder and nationalist that carried every group along in terms of development of the state and appointment when he held sway as Governor. During his time as governor of Kaduna state between 1999-2007, institutions were built, road constructed, and peace and tranquility was maintained all through his time. Even when there was religious crisis as a result of the proposed Shari'a bill in 2000, Makarfi stepped in, suspended the bill and brought every stakeholders to the table to which a partial Shari'a bill (to be binding on only those that subject themselves to it)was agreed on by all parties, which restored peace to the state. Makarfi popularity in Kaduna state grew so large that the General Buhari whirlwind of 2003 that swept Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state could not be enough to sack him and install Alhaji Sulaiman Hunkuyi despite the fact that Buhari was highly popular in Kaduna state and his ANPP had defeated PDP's Chief Obasanjo in the Presidential election result from Kaduna state. Upon conclusion of Makarfi's term in office as governor, a lot of Nigerians prevailed on him to aspire for Presidency to succeed then outgoing president Chief Obasanjo in other to replicate Kaduna success in Nigeria, being that Kaduna is considered a mini-Nigeria. Proven Integrity And Transparency Having served as two term Governor, two term Senator and Chairman of PDP for almost 2 years, no indictment of graft or financial misappropriation has he found himself. Despite the fact that majority of his colleagues of class 1999-2007 Governors became guests of various Economic and Financial Crimes Commission offices and courts, while some are in the news for negative reasons, Senator Ahmed Makarfi maintained a clean bill of health and never had cause to explain any misconduct to a judge, investigator, prosecutor or journalist with respect to his integrity. The Most Experienced And Most Prepared For The Job I make bold to say that of all those aspiring for the 2019 Presidency including incumbent Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Makarfi remains the most experienced and qualified given his vast experience and antecedents across sectors. As a trained accountant and former Senior banker, Makarfi is vast in managing the resources of organisations and entity. This he proved in the management of the lean and almost zero resources of PDP when he was chairman, as well as those of Kaduna state when he served as Commissioner for finance and later Governor. His eight years experience as Governor will come to play in handling executive responsibilities as President for the good of the country, while his experience as Senator will come to play in forging a robust relationship with federal lawmakers as he appreciates their role in furthering our democracy and giving dividends to the masses. The Presidency under Makarfi will not be enmeshed in party-government politics that cause distraction to the government as he is fully abreast with the workings of a party and know how to relate with it to the benefit of the masses. I am very optimistic that the unhealthy cold war between the National Assembly and the Presidency that seem to have been a norm in the polity since 1999 will be thrown to the dustbin of history under Ahmed Makarfi's administration. Furthermore, Senator Ahmed Makarfi is never known to be a controversial figure, but known to be an unapologetic nationalist and first class statesman that believes in fairness, equity and justice. It is not a fluke that he enjoys popularity and is highly respected by the political class and the masses irrespective of religion and ethnicity. He is the only one whose candidacy could be bought by the sophisticated Southwest, the innovative Southeast, the agile SouthSouth, the committed Northcentral, the ever dependable northeast and strategic northwest population. Conclusively, while citizens are eager for a transition to a new government, it will be a disaster on political parties, especially the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party to field a candidate that lack goodwill amongst Nigerians, one that is highly inexperienced and one that suffers credibility issues. May God Bless Us All And Bless Nigeria Inioribo Tamunotonye is the National Secretary and SouthSouth Coordinator of Nigeria Youth Project and also the National Coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party National Youth League. Nigerian youths are not lazy and we always strive for excellence wherever we are. Our parents still think we owe them for raising us. Nigerian students are excelling academically in other countries but the story is different in Nigeria. And those that think the government don't owe them needs to rethink the subject. The government has a right to provide social welfare to its citizens and providing quality and standard education is one of their responsibilities too. I graduated from a state university back in 2004 and I paid #4000 in school fees in my final year. There is a deliberate plan to make public schools graduates invalid, this has worked well with primary and secondary school and I never enrolled in a private school. So, my brother, you are wrong to think that the Nigeria youth is lazy. rusher14: |

fowlyansh181:Why have so many rooms when you can only sleep in one room, Some people don't want to be rich but comfortable. Acquiring wealth is sometimes a disease. The good news is that the OP realizes that his wife is sick and just like some folks pointed out, speak to her parent and if it persists, abeg move out of the house and if she is smart she will come to her senses but if not try to forget her. She is a religious fanatic and not a christian. |
