It saddened when other tribe in this country trying to reduce Yoruba race to their level. Let me quickly remind you that most of people oriented project embrace by other part of the country now started from Yoruba region. We are far ahead you people and stop marrying us together. The problem you people have is so simple and is inability to recognize and select good leader and this is due to the level of greed growing up with you. When Obj came out in 99, we Yoruba rejected him. we did not say because is a Yoruba man and we should give him support, No! But you Igbo and Hausa, because he promised you appointment quickly rally round and made him a president which we all regretted today. This same thing happen to our serving president. And if one was innocent of offence that spare him from going to jail in the first instance, would he claim innocent of same offence in the second time? Those who condemned effort of Dora Akuyili and good governance of Okorocha how would they value something good by another tribe? This is simply because illicit has become their blood and way of lives. Until this people move out of this darkness then better things will follow, and as a result they will respect their father land and stop littering everywhere in the part of the world.
@ Ops did u know that Dr Alex Ekwueme is supposed to be PDP Presidential Candidate in 1999. The Party primaries were to hold in PH and from all indications Ekwueme is going to emerge victorous but invisible hand planted bomb at the Place of the Convention, then the Venue were moved to Jos where Money (Ghana mustgo) exchanched hands and OBJ was elected PDP flag bearer in that Presidential Election that year(OBJ just came out of Prison).Courtsey of IBB money & Influence all in a bid to stop Igbo Presidency.
Now u can tell me who promised who juicy appointments, it is also noteworthy that in 1999 among the prominent G34 that formed PDP neither IBB nor OBJ were among them this is what the North always do to retain Power. All these Conspiracy should stop no one should be a Slave/only a Follower in his own Country.Every tribe should have a shot at the Presidency for the Country to move forward,Imagine Northern Governors/Elders saying GEJ signed a pact to contest for one term. Do Nigeria belong to a particular set of People? Only time will tell.
2015 is here again the North wants Power back and they are forming alliance with West again under APC.
The problem of Nigerians is that we forget so soon !

Gues what, Dangote owes in billions of naira more than the Okada man, if the okad man wants, he can pride himself on not owing anybody, but he should also accept the differences in the progress that Dangote would make compared to him.
Hey Buddy but u know that its all these People/Corporation that borrows more than what they can repay are responsible for plunging the Nation/World into economic downturn.

Apart from the huge IGR and federal allocation, I hear it will take Lagos 60 yrs to pay off foreign and domestic debts that these APC criminals have acquired in the last 14 yrs.
@ Ops this is serious ! Did u just say 60Yrs to pay off Foreign & Domestic debt while Anambra State Govt led by Peter Obi is not owing any domestic or foreign debt.

Nasa Finds Message From God Written On A Tablet
According to the reports, the tablets were discovered by Nasa's rover which landed on Mars August last year 2012... wonders shall never end.

NASA announced that its Curiosity Rover has found an unambiguous message from God written on tablets in a Martian cave. According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain. Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages – including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading “I am real.” According to top scientists who have studied the discovery extensively, these findings may have definitely established Christianity as the one true religion.
“This is amazing,” says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA’s Mars Exploration Program. “We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of God’s existence instead. “I mean how else did those tablets get there? I can tell you one thing: there’s not a single atheist inside NASA’s control room now. What we saw was jaw-dropping.” ...Continue
 Genesis 1:1

NASA’s Curiosity rover arrived on Mars in August of last year with a mission to explore the Martian climate and geology for signs for habitability.
Thus far the mission has been a success, with the discovery of an ancient seabed and chemicals needed for life suggesting that Mars was once suitable for life.
However the tablets, both of which are signed “Peace and Love – Yahweh,” represent the rover’s most significant find to date, and is perhaps the most important scientific event in history.
“When people find out about this, they will demand change in our society,” explains a political scientist at Georgetown University. “Democracy will have to give way to theocracy. We’re gonna have to build more churches and reintroduce prayer into schools. Abortion is defiantly going to be illegal within a few months.”
Despite its potential significance, Covington fears that the Earth-shattering discovery may not make the impact it should.
“Unfortunately, the mainstream media is so anti-Christian, they might not even pick up this story,” he explains. “But God is real. We have proof. And everyone deserves to hear the truth.”

You can't have electricity without the fear of it going off a few moments later, we have stupid politicians whose only ambition in life is to sleep with underage children, we have an illiterate as a first lady and to top it all, most Nigerians are cowards who will never stand up for their right.

In this 21st century, some govenors spend money on newspaper advert celebrating the construction of bore-hole in a community, making Nigeria look like Somalia. . .

The only advice I have for folks who are tired of this country is to pray & follow their hearts. . . There's no point staying where you're not happy.

SportsAnother AC Milan Player Constant Walks Off The Pitch by camelus(op): 9:00am On Jul 25, 2013
Guinean midfielder Kevin Constant walked off the pitch during AC Milan’s pre-season tournament match against fellow Serie A side Sassuolo on Tuesday in response to alleged racial abuse by opposition fans.

The 26-year-old midfielder kicked the ball into the crowd and left the pitch in the 34th minute.
The referee ordered an announcement warning that the game would be suspended if further incident occurred.
The game then continued with Milan sending on a substitute for Constant. The Italian Football Federation has launched an investigation into the incident.
In May, FIFA ushered in strict new anti-racism and discrimination rules that could see teams docked points or relegated for repeated racist incidents by fans.
Constant’s actions emulates Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng, who sparked a walk-off that involved the whole Milan team, in January.
After been racially abused by the opposing crowd in Milan’s match against Italian lower league division club Pro Patria, Boateng picked up the ball midway through the first-half and kicked it into the crowd before removing his shirt.

If Our Consultations Don’t Yield Desired Results, We’ll Help Bury PDP – Northern Govs •As Gov. Nyako Gives Nod For Supporters To Join ANPP

The five Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors of Adamawa, Sokoto, Jigawa, Niger and Sokoto currently embarking on consultation with former Heads of State and President, with the purpose of rescuing the party and polity from forces hell-bent on muzzling dissenting views, have threatened to help speed up the collapse of the party if their consultations do not result in success.
At the end of their latest round of consultations yesterday which took them to Minna, Niger State, four out of five of the governors – Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Sule Lamido (Jigawa) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), met with Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar, during which they relayed their fears and apprehensions on the polity.
Governor Murtala Nyako was the only that was absent at the consultation with Babangida and Abubakar because according to the other governors, he had a previously scheduled commitment with officials across the border in Cameroon.
Nyako, however, said yesterday that ongoing consultations by the governors were meant to help save the PDP from total destruction, but added that in the event of their failure to save it, they would help bury the party.
Speaking on their round of consultations with Obasanjo and other elder-statesmen, Nyako, who spoke through his Director of Press and Publications, Sajoh Ahmed said:
“We have held consultations with former head of state and former BoT chairman of the PDP, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on the need for him and other major stakeholders to save the party from dying.
“We are not stopping with Obasanjo as one of the most respected Nigerians of our time; we will proceed to the likes of Generals Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar and other eminent Nigerians just to mention but a few.
“We will continue to make our efforts to save the party. But if our efforts do not work, we have no alternative than to fold our arms, and see PDP die and help in burying it.”
The governor, who has been engaged in a running battle with the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, warned that unless serious minded Nigerians intervene in time, the PDP would die a natural death.
He described the current trends playing out in the ruling party as worrisome, adding that the internal wrangling in the PDP could spell doom for the country’s democracy.
The Adamawa State governor, nonetheless, said he had approval for his supporters to join the All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP,  although he would still remain in the PDP.

PoliticsUS Report Cautions Nigeria Of Civil War by camelus(op): 8:51am On Jul 21, 2013
A new report entitled ``Nigerian Unity in the Balance” authored for the United States Army War College has, again, warned Nigerian leaders to beware of another civil war or an outright break-up following what it called ongoing divisive trends in the country.

The report released by the Strategic Studies Institute of War College was written by two former American servicemen, Gerald McLaughlin and Clarence J. Bouchat. McLaughlin is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College while Bouchat is also an adjunct professor at the U.S. Army War College (USAWC)
The report, whose foreword was written by the Director, Strategic Studies, Institute and U.S. Army War College Press, Professor Douglas Lovelace, observed that divisive forces were becoming more stronger than uniting forces in Nigeria, warning that unless this was reversed, Nigeria`s existence could be jeopardised.

According to the report, “Parochial interests created by religious, cultural, ethnic, economic, regional, and political secessionist tendencies are endemic in Nigeria. Under such stresses, Nigerian unity may fail.

“Should Nigeria’s leaders mismanage the political economy and reinforce centrifugal forces in Nigeria, the breaks to create autonomous regions or independent countries would likely occur along its previously identified fault lines,” the report warned.

“Having already experienced one brutal civil war, Nigeria is at risk for a recurrence of conflict or dissolution, especially since some of the underpinning motivations of the war remain unresolved,`` the report observed, detailing many fault lines speeding up disintegrative tendencies in the country.

“Indeed, East Timor, Eritrea, Croatia, and Somaliland indicate that the weakest point of failing states is along colonial borders. Of more interest for Nigerian unity is that this may also occur between regions separately administered by a common colonial power, as occurred between Malaysia and Singapore, and North and South Sudan, where differences proved irreconcilable after the departure of British administration. At least, some of the resulting regions and states of a possible Nigerian devolution may divide along such internal lines”, the report projected.

While conceding that Nigeria’s fate is primarily in the hands of Nigerians, the report noted that such could be positively affected by actions of the US, adding that “Nigeria’s future is in balance and the United States should help tip the scales.”

The report particularly warned that religious differences were taking the centre-stage in the emerging conflict situation in the country, disputing repeated reports that economic reasons were to blame for the insurgency and other conflicts in the country.

The Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) is part of the U.S. Army War College and is the strategic-level study agent for issues related to national security and military strategy with emphasis on geostrategic analysis.
