Business › Re: My Bank Account Restricted Unjustly by Candoit: 6:04am On Mar 16, 2020 |
Harbeeorlar: Good day All, please how do I go about this issue I am into?
On Weds 11th, March, 2020 I logged on to my GTworld to make transaction but I got a response that my account has a debit/credit restriction.
I reached out to my bank via twitter DM to know what is going on, the response I got was that my account was reported for fraud hence I should make full return of alleged fraudulent transfer i made on 3/4/2020. Without wasting time, I logged on to my GTworld to check and i saw the said transaction which was the only credit i received that day.
It happened that i went to the ATM to make deposit but when i got there the machine was down (hardware error), seeing how depressed i was, one of the customers that wanted to withdraw offered to transfer to me while i gave him cash. That was it, it was not a fraudulent transaction but now he went to report me for fraud.
I further asked how i can clear myself but i was told only if i liase with the account holder or i make the full payment that's the only way they can lift the restriction. Someone i did not know or have his contact. And i believe he owns the account not someone else's account because he used USSD to make the transfer. But why he reported me and the bank easily believe is what i don't understand.
Please dear Nairalander, how can i get out of this. I cant make use of my account all this while, people who send money into the account unknowingly are on my neck to carryout there services for them, and this is becoming too much for me. I'm really sorry for your ordeal but thanks for sharing your experience. You just saved some souls from being victims in the future. With the way things are going scamming cannot end, they seem to be devising more methods to scam the unsuspecting. Just thinking out loud. We all have to be careful with our money, no matter how little. Now only 3k had put him in trouble. OP, don't worry you woul be out of this in Jesus Name. Be courageous. |

Can someone enlighten me on the use of the tissue they pile up. I was hoping it was to be used as disposable face tissue to sneeze and cough but I don't get it if they are not planning to go out. |

Investment › Re: Have You Ever Been In Debt, How Much And How Were You Able To Overcome It ? by Candoit: 10:47pm On Mar 08, 2020 |
I don't even know where to start from. But first, be strong. I faced that last year too... I lost a lot of money, both mine, a friend's own, my clients own running into almost 2m too. I'm not even talking about my own money. I almost had a heartache too. But what I did first was have a friend around me alway. He helped me cheer up in the midst of the whole chaos and made me stay positive. He wasn't judgemental and diswayed me from any suicidal thought.
Next, I had a discussion with my friend, I told her how sorry I was to have brought her into the investment. I told her I only meant good for her and at the end do you know she wiped off my debt?. I'm talking of over 600k.
She also promised to assist me pay up my client's money. We are yet to raise the complete money but we've raised some considerable amount and as God may have it, there has been no pressure. Prayer helped.
But we're able to raise the money due to the nature of our jobs. In your case, you're in school so you can't raise that money to pay up. What you'd do is to pray first, then talk to the very understanding persons (if possible the ones with higher stakes) , maybe carrying them along on the situation of things might help, then follow up on the case, that's how you can pay up.
Learn your lesson. Move on. |

Lyricalgod: I graduated from the university in 2017 and served the following year, have tried a couple of job applications and internship programs but none has paid off.
Days back my parents asked me to apply for a masters programme abroad, since they would have less financial engagement next year, they would be able to sponsor me comfortably, I suggested giving me the money to setup a business instead, but they were not too interested.
But am confused don't know where to start, and how to go about it I.e application, visa etc.. I know a lot of experienced readers are here who have been there, and i know their are people like me out there who want to learn and gain vital information.

Education › Re: I Studied In Republic Of Benin.. Can I Obtain My Msc In Nigeria? by Candoit: 9:42pm On Feb 26, 2020 |
Truthfully, most Nigerian school would not accept you for a Masters program with that certificate. Worse still is if you decide to study abroad in top international countries like Australia or the U.S, they would tell you boldly that your qualification does not equal their countries Bachelor's qualification.
I know this because I assist a lot of persons with the admission process for study abroad and one of my students is currently facing this. Our best bet is to enrol him for a fresh Bsc program or a top up in the UK |

Did you read the part where she said their lives could be in danger? quote author=Organs post=86844606]
I disagree with you absolutely. If we continue like this, the society will stay corrupt. Part of what stopped slavery was the killings of white wicked slave owners by black men. There are so many ways to deal with this situation. 1. Social media, she needs to report it to those that will report it to a news media that will put focus on it that it will be difficult to sweep it under the carpet. 2. If this 17 year old is my relation, i will not rest until i see Justice, it might be hiring an agbero to go beat the rapist up, (by beat up, i mean, breaking a leg permanently or driving a broom up his dick hole or removing at least three tooth). 3. Get influential people involved that will do something about it. I will go with #2.[/quote] |

I've read the post more than twice now and I'm still wondering where some persons got the idea it's an Ibo tradition.
To OP, I wouldn't advise you to disobey your parents neither would I tell you to leave the woman that you love. I only ask you to seek counsel else where. Truth is we don't have enough facts to advise you properly and so u are not misled, go else where. You have elders or senior uncles in your village, Right? Talk to them, tallk to a man of God too
PS: Your woman is too forward if u ask me. Imagine the guts asking you for an oath also boldly telling you no one can stop her from getting married to u. Forgive me but I find that awkward |

Well, the elders have all spoken. Hope you have heard? In summary, take charge of your home and the situation. You could do this when all 3 are in the sitting room. Ask your wife's friend directly when she is leaving and give her ultimatum to leave, even though u owe her no explanation, u could still say you're expecting your mother or any family relation. And tell her she has to ensure she covers her body properly during the rest days. You're wife might want to pick a quarrel immediately and may point accusing fingers at you. Don't give shy away. Respond to her and tell her she encouraged it. Make sure it's sorted out once and for all. What is the worse that can happen anyway? |

moscobabs: I have been nursing my own for over 20yrs now, my front teeth broke when I was 10 and it has been disturbing me since then and I don't want to remove it, it has even turned to black now If you read the first 2 comments on this thread, you'd notice both mentioned Dr Agnes Nwama. It's a dental powder sold for N100. I didn't know people knew it that well. I too suffered from a tooth ache for a while until I found Dr Agnes. I would suggest you look for it in the market. It's common in Aba and PH. Make sure you buy Agnes Nwama dental tooth powder and not another powder. |
Phones › Re: My Facebook Account Hacked! How Do I Retrieve It? by Candoit: 9:13pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
post=86397925: Dear Gabolak, we found this for you online, We hope it helps......
If your facebook account was hacked by someone and you really want it back this tutorial would help you get it back.
Step 1: First goto this link. https://www.facebook.com/hacked Click the button "Your account has been Compromised".
Then type in your email address, Login name , Full Name or your specified Phone No.
Then facebook would search for matching users. If you still don't see your account, try entering something else other than the one you entered.
( for example if you entered your phone number and it didn't work try entering your email or Login name.) Most of the time using your email would be the wisest choice.)
And hit Search.
Step 2: Well now the kind of difficult part begins. But I don't think it would be for you.
Now for this step you got to enter your account's password. Well if you knew the password you won't be here anyway, cause you don't know your new password the Hacker's changed, enter your old password. The password that you use, to enter into your account before you got HACKED
Step 3: Then cause you entered an old actually now wrong password this page will come up. Well no need to be down yet. Just click the reset my password button.
Step 4: Your primary email would be changed so well of course you don't want to send your reset your password link to the hacker's account so, Click "no longer have access to these?" link.
Step 5: Well now you almost got your account back. Now write your new email address that you want to send the change password link as well set as your primary email.
Step 6: Well now, follow the next steps and you would have your account back in 24 hours. Hmm..... I believe that's how his account was also hacked. Now, he'd hack the hacker. Great! |
