Immediately I went back to my online account and discovered the pending application was no more there.
Please help what can I do. I have sent a mail to them but no response.

Logout and login again. It should be somwhere there. Even when payment don't go through, you can logout and login again

Hi guys, I got email notification today from CIC, so I thought it's the regular blank mail meaning there is an update, I rushed to check the account no updates still, went back to open the CIC email, it was basically saying there has been no updates since I last logged into the account and thanks for my patience.....
submitted sept 17th
Biometrics sept 23rd
CIC mail Oct 17th
No other update
The date for travel is nextweek

A couple can stay in one room if the hotel certify that 2 people or couple is allowed in that room. Book a room that occupy two people. All UK hotel have rooms that two persons or couple can stay.

Check 'booking.com' to reserve. Check for free cancellation.

I said they can't stay in a "HOSTEL" not hotel. As in, all those cheap hostels with about 6bunks. Its ok for single travellers not couple IMO

Anything from $2000 should be ok. Just put a breakdown, book flight, book hotel, add other expenses and viola, you have an exact amount to input into your application. No need for guess work.

Wifey is going for childbirth and would choose other while i would be going for tourism, stay 1 week or 10days.
Now am a little confused.
Option 1 ---should we apply together as i initially planned, or option 2 --- she applies alone, with me serving as her strong tie in home country, i wait and then apply for mine..after she has gotten her visa and about to travel??.

If option 1, am guessing i should answer yes in the section below??.

If both of you have travel history and your bank statement is good and maybe if you have a child you are leaving behind, you can apply together. If not, you may have to apply alone.
For th3 screenshot you sent, you answer yes to that question if you are applying with her same time and NO of you aint applying with her.

Flight is already about £1000 for both of you. Ain't you renting a hotel? Feeding? Transport? Its low IMO

Check your application and see if it's been updated. Also check with the tracking number to see if it's already with them at VFS. Don't just sit and wait for mail cos those VFS people can be so annoying with their services.

UK visa application is becoming a mess like some other countries with not so good track record. I used to credit them for prompt treatment of applications, though with ridiculous charges. He has sent message to tlscontact nigeria (UK in Nigeria).

Ridiculous charges, everything is money for them. So annoying. Sometimes I feel if you don't pay for any of those their charges, they will look for how to deny you visa

I’m a registered nurse in Nigeria.. I have applied for a tier2 Visa at the UKVI and did my biometrics and submission on the 3rd of October. But, I made a mistake on my National Identity Number. I filled in my passport number instead of my National identity number on my visa application..


I have gotten a valid job offer and my sponsor(employer) from the U.K. NHS as raised my certificate of Sponsorship from the home office with other required documents.

Please I want to know if this mistake would be used against my decision from the DMC as my expected date of arrival is 30th of this month and I’m to start work by 3rd of November.

Similarly, how long is the waiting time for tier2 visa .

That national identification number, I noticed it doesn't have expiration date. What did you fill as the expiration date?

Hi guys, I thought this Canada thing will be easy since I have a valid U.S visa but I got refused on the grounds that they feel I wont leave Canada after my visa expires. Feeling really sad. Any ideas why they will feel so? Is it ideal to reapply? Your thoughts will help.

They will still access you based on your financials, possible reasons fot return/ties,and if you've previously had your baby in U.S, they will think you want to come and do same unless you are applying for medical and if you applied for medical, your finance should be super strong.
Or maybe they've reached their quota like someone said cos it seems they ain't giving much visa now unlike begining of the year.

Hi everyone. As a sole business owner, when asked how much you make in a year, is it your TOTAL interest in a year or the supposed amount you pay yourself monthly that will be summed up?
You own this business and have full access to all the funds, nobody is dragging your money with you lol.

Let's say you make interest of 300k monthly as interest not as total money entering your account, when asked how much you make in a year, is it 300k X 12? Or it has to be maybe #100k I spend every month?

After booking an appointment, i discovered that i made a mistake in my first name with just a letter, but the name on DS169 form is correct.

I have submited online query form from the appointment feedback, have sent an email to mail to the support, and i was told that i should just continue with the Ds160 form.

Please help, i hope i won't be turned back on my interview day or tag as misrepresentation...

Thanks for your observation but for record purpose is there a limit to what your expenses should be? I honestly just want to be clear cos whoever reviewed decided based only on the current account balance alone. I saved up for over 6months moreso it was just a budget not like i must spend it. I would assume budget should be big to accomodate any eventualilities.

We will see how it goes.

From what I've learnt here from since 1900 is that you shouldn't spend more than 2months income as I've also seen that as reason for refusal in many refusal letters posted here. They practically state it in the letter. Of course many people will still end up spending more than their budget but just so they don't have issues with visa decision, they stick with their rules.

I'll be putting in my application before month end GOD willing and I have that at the back of my mind already.

Got a change of status late july (eligibility review and background check in process. )
Now I just received a correspondence letter for the biometrics I did since july. Pls did anyone get this letter n how early or late please. so I can either just forget the process and focus on here. The long timing is really discouraging.

We are paid twice in a month, one into savings as allowances, one into current as salary. I was given payslips for both payments and i attached them all and even both bank statements. I also attached my letter of employment. If the person had checked my payslips and the savings account, the 400 would have added up. It was stated in my cover letter, i just felt a good job was not done

Is it a letter of complaint i should do or fill the admistrative review form. And do i have to attach all the documents again? Please i need guidance so i can get it right

But I saw where they said your travel expenses will cost you about #905k which is like double your entire 2months salart minus your expenditure of #300k for the 2months.
I think your budget wasn't ok too. I'm not saying you shouldn't write them. I'm just thinking out loud. Just incase they decide to review your application and see that one as another excuse.

Keep travelling to other countries for your holiday. Leave U.S out of it fot now especially if ALL 4 of you want to apply same time. It may be difficult convincing the VO. IMO

Well, sorry about the denial. But, if you had shared your profile with us here before you applied, we would have advised you appropriately.
By and large, you have to work on this points raised before you can reapply. Why not look at other countries like schengen to try and boost your travel history

You are right, Canada likes travel history the way monkey likes banana. Even if its one country, that will help. Even if its U.K or Schengen. But people will cross their legs and wait for pregnancy to arrive and apply to Canada for birth and expect magic. Let's try and be travelling o, I'm talking to myself too. There's nothing like no leave, no transfer Many embassys re not smiling.
