I think the first thing you should do is to book your appointment with Vfs, you pay about 20k to book appointment as the dates are flying. After which you can always fill your form (fill on their website and submit online) and gather your documents before appointment date. Best of luck

For anyone that got refusal letter that doesn't correspond to their profile, like advised, write them a detailed letter expressing your displeasure. Don't even take it lightly with them.
Don't ever let it slide. You don't have to spend money doing that. Spend a little time and draft a letter to them

Keep moving forward till you see a date. You can also keep refreshing from time to time or check midnight

Thank you for your response. I was able to send a stinker mail to them stating how deliberate they grey out the self service appointment date and enforcing Nigerians to make use of their added services which serves as a form of extortion and enabling fraudulent agent charging all in the name of helping with bookings. They apologised sha and assured to escalate. I refreshed the page and was lucky to see a date.

Check midnight
Check both self service and assisted service. You may see in assisted service, even if you don't need the assisted service you can go ahead and book it and dash them 11700

For priority service, a decision on your application is likely to be made within 5days while for super Priority, decision is made within 24 hours. These times may differ a bit

Humblegentlebee I will advise you clean up your application, fill a fresh form if you have submitted the previous one and make sure to update your ds160 to talk with your appointment. Ask your doctor to adjust your appointment date and prepare for your interview. The same date you are trying to reject, many people will pounce on if given the chance. If you have up to 1-2weeks, tidy your application and attend your interview.

Oh! Depends on covid vaccination status.
Fully vaccinated- go on ncdc portal and fill in details and upload vaccination document and get QR code. No test. No payment.
Partially or unvaccinated- PCR test + pay for day 2 and day 7 test on ncdc portal to get QR code

So they still do all these test haaaa

Result: 3-Month, Multiple Entry Visa

Supporting Documents submitted:

1.) Valid and Expired Passport ( with valid 5-year UK Visa Sticker, and expired UK, USA and Schengen Visa Stickers)
2.) Coloured photocopy of Letter of Employment and Work ID Card.
3.) Payslips for 3 Months
4.) Bank Account Statements ( one for salary account showing payment of salary as stated on the payslips, and the other is a US$ domiciliary
account showing $**** in savings for a 6-month period.
5.) CSCS Statement of Stock Holding ( Note, if you want to use your shareholdings in publicly quoted companies as evidence of your ties to
Nigeria in your application, I recommend tallking with your Stockbroker to get the statement issued by
CSCS on their Letterhead. CSCS no longer attends to individual investors for such request)

Now I'm pregnant again and would like to avoid giving birth in Nigeria again. I would like to know the best way to apply for visa and which documents are required for this. My husbands sister is a nurse in US and can invite me and bear all the medical cost. She can also accommodate me in her house.

So sorry about your loss.
Note that you can't state that your husband's sister in the US is footing uour medical bills as it will seem like you and your spouse can't afford what you desire.

Gather your documents, look for Dr and hospital in US, book appointment, apply for emergency appointment if possible as the available dates are far gone. .all the best

You have one month to submit your passport.
If you will be in America for like 2-3weeks, it's better to submit there though there will be some kind of transmission fee you will pay. It will be much more faster there.

There are so many other hospitals that will accept you without being high risk. Why not use them instead

Yes but as it's still the same city, I belive it can still be treated same day as seen for some applications here that took just 1-2days

My wife did her biometrics on 30th of June but was called by VFS to come redo her biometrics and submit new application form on the 5th of June.

She has a ticket we have paid for to travel on the 13th of June along with my daughter but now that there's a public holiday on Monday and Tuesday (11th and 12th) we don't know if they would come tru on time for her flight that day by 6pm

I believe they stamp the visa there. Let her show them her flight ticket and plead to be attended urgently.
I belive they will listen and she will be able to collect same day.
Let her just pack her bags, maybe from vfs center she will start heading to airport.
She should also go very very early and table her matter first.

If you meant that you have contacted a Dr in America and waiting for their feedback, if you haven't paid any deposit to the Dr, switch to Dr Z that was mentioned up. He gives what you need asap and with that you can proceed.
I want to belive to have the rest of your documents ready

One month may be too close as you need to apply for emergency, wait for a day or few days to get response, choose a date that may be few days ahead, if successful you will drop your passport and wait for stamping which may take some days or more depending.
Also note that most airline will carry her up till 36weeks. Not to discourag you. If it's slightly more than one month, you can give it a try
