Politics › Re: Indians Drives Nigerians Out Of African Food Stuff Business In Canada: Video by candygist: 10:10pm On Jan 19, 2024 |
chigator2: That is the thing, Organised Capital is a major force in business.
The earlier Africans understands this the better they stand to compete in the global business scene.
Organised capital is what happens when multiple investors and entrepreneurs galvanise their capital and business interest into one formidable business structure that builds up on their individual strengths, hides their individual weaknesses and works towards their common goal. Africans and Nigerians in extension have this "Solo Mission" mentality in business that is harmful in the long run especially when competing against deeper pockets. That is why we have several underdeveloped hospitals littered everywhere when all the directors of all the shrub hospitals would have merged capital to build a world class facility.
The Indians don't have this problem. Coming from a communal culture like Nigerians they use this to their advantage abroad. Indian families and communities abroad pool their resources together and form a business structure. Their capital can go towards any business that they agree upon and then they decide who among them or who should be appointed to be the face of the business. In this way, they set up pharmacies, shops, REITs, car wash, laundromats and other SMEs abroad with a capital base that is competitive enough.
I have not read anywhere sice this JAPA phenomenon emerged that Africans can pooling resources together to achieve something of scale and volume abroad, it is either how they are trying to make each other lose citizenship potential or sleeping with someone's wife. SMH Yoi expect me to invest my money with a Nigerian man that is only looking for opportunity to scam me ? Nigerians are wicked set of people, you invest your money with a group of them and the next couple of months or years it will end in tears, it's either you are scammed or somthing. To find a honest Nigerian will only take the grace of God. 9 out of 10 are evil. |

My husband is a medical doctor. I have a 22years old sister of mine staying with me cos I don't have a maid. Few days ago. There was no light. I woke up at the middle of the night and my husband was not on bed with me. I was seeing a reflection of light at the parlor and I went to check and noticed the light was coming from my sister's room. do you know what I saw. My husband was seated looking at my sisters vulya. My sister was deeply asleep or will I say forming sleeping, Cos what I don't understand Why somebody will shine a torch in your vagina and the reflection won't wake u up. She was wearing a nightgown without underwear. My husband claimed he was only examining the vulya cos my sister complained of having issues there. He claimed they are not having any sexual intercourse. He even got angry with me for thinking he will do such thing with my sis. Believing them makes me see my self like a fool. My husband said he's only helping my sister. So that tomorrow he will write medication for her. That he knows my sister won't be comfortable allowing him to examine her and doctors can't arrive at a diagnosis without examining the patient. Please Kindly share your thoughts on this cos I want to escalate this matter It's already too late. You lost your husband to your sister already. Thats all I can say as a man. |
Politics › Re: Natives Deplore Domination Of Lagos By Non-indigenes by candygist: 4:10pm On Jan 18, 2024 |
lilytender: They are MAD. The only natives if Lagos are the Eguns, any other group claiming natives should be prosecuted for attempted usurpation.
I am an Egba man, my family came from the current Ogun State into Lagos. The Aworis are from far away current Osun. The Ijebus including the Ikorodus and Epes are never Lagos indegenes. The Kwarans who have dominated Lagos for years came from fat away because there was and there is still nothing in their state, likewise the Edos.
The Brazilian and Ivory Coast slaves that were dumped in Lagos by the slave merchants will never ever become Lagos indegenes, that is why one cursed Shinedu Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour was abusing his forefathers in Brazil the other time. Brazilians will always be Brazilians.
Only the Eguns can legitimately claim to be indegenes of Lagos. Unfortunately for the Eguns, we Egbas, the Aworis and the usurping Kwarans have relegated the Eguns because the Eguns did not embrace Western Education in time The aworis are getting federal govt jobs at the international airport in Lagos State as a means of compensation for thier lands taking away from them by the federal govt of Nigeria. I really envy many of them. Imagine getting good jobs for free all becouse your forefathers came to Lagos and started farming on a hugh hectare of land. |

Jamesclooney: Thanks for your response. Is it only Nigerian aviation that conducts checks per landing? What of Ghana, Rwanda and Ethiopia? Don’t their local flights also go through the rigors of these checks. Whatever it is, it doesn’t make sense. I also know the airports are inefficient in processing passengers amongst other things like VIP shutting down runways to fly private jets. I just wanted confirmation from an insider source, because it’s very embarrassing in 2024 the kind of massive delays Nigerian domestic flights experience. In the aspect of VIP shutting down runways, thata canr be possible. To fly or land dosnt take more than 10 mins. So what do you mean by shutting down runways ? The only time flights are not allowed to land or take off for about 30 mins is when a president or a vice president is about to land or take off. |
Travel › Re: Flight Disruptions: NCAA Threatens To Sanction Egyptair, NG Eagle by candygist: 8:57pm On Jan 08, 2024 |
Jamesclooney: Since you’re insider, can you give reasons why local flights are delayed daily? Same airline. Same route. Multiple hours delay. Every day. Why? Flight delays are not intentional. That's what's many passengers don't know. Just like your cars, aircraft develope issues without any signs or warning. Now for the safety of passengers, when a flight takes off and lands in its place of destination, before the aircraft takes off again, technical checks will be carried out by the engineers and if the engineers find any little issues, no matter how little the case may be, the passengers life can not be risked. So the engineers insure that everything is properly fixed before the flight takes off and if it can't be fixed the flight will be cancelled. In the aviation world, safety comes first. |

tunjijones: The way those airlines treat Nigerians with contempt. And most times nothing will happens.
Delay flights, flights of 8am and by 4pm you are still at the airport. Most times they do this with impunity. Flight scheduled for 11am will leave by 10am making several passengers miss the flight.. most times nothing happens.
Nigeria is filled with corruption and wickedness in every sector. Bro I wokr in the aviation industry. NCAA is just making noise and telling stories. The airlines management will pay NCAA management off and the matter will continue. NCAA just dey do like say them dey work but then no dey work. Once the airlines bribe them. Case will close and passengers will keep suffering. Nigeria problem is not just the govt. We the citizens are too greedy and we don't love each other. We just want to make money by all means to go and drink beer, eat chicken, build houses, by cars, look rich, carry olosho, travel etc. Everyone Nigerian living and working in Nigerian no get love. I agree with you that Nigeria dos not start getting bad under Tinubu but it is an undeniable fact that Tinubu has made it worse in all indices of governance. MikeofKd: This period is the worst period be a Nigerian youth ,the government has completely crippled and humiliated us. The economy is very bad and even worse, things are getting out of hand every blessed day.
My problem with Nigerians are our spirit of adaptation , I can promise you dat if fuel sells for 5k per litre people would still buy after complaining heavily , cause thats all we do ,complain bitterly but everyone would at d end of the day find ways to adapt.
For how long are we going to continue this way for christ sake? Almost all the youth are into one fraudulent activity or the other these days and the most decent looking ladies have a very troublesome amount of body count these days as well.
How I wish we can all in our frustrations pay Tinubu a visit at Aso rock , atleast make we protest heavily reach him side cus im fed up honestly.
I'm a bachelor but im still managing like a student , bills upon bills and worst you dont even get to enjoy for these services you pay for at all.

MavisEleanor: Fun Fact
The worship centre is a potential tourist attraction that will generate revenue for the state and further improve the state's visibility internationally.
Think of the project like the Basilica di Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Hagia Sophia or Masjid al-Haram. Clown Do you see that worship centre? It is beautiful and that is where it ends! There is talk about it bringing tourists to the state. Perish the thought! Who will pay thousands of dollars to come mope at cement and glass works? Where is the marble, where is the gold? Where are the sculptures, the great paintings? The Duomo in the Renaissance city of Firenze or Florence in Italy started as a worship centre, today there isn't a bench for a single worshipper, but millions throng there to study and enjoy the iconic architecture, the classic sculptures, the magnificent painting, etc, at a fee. The same can be said about the worship centres in the Red Square in Moscow, the Church of Sweden in Stockholm, the one in Milano, or the one in Venice and several other places. These worship centres including the ones in Jerusalem, Jordan, and Egypt are visited by millions of tourists bringing huge revenues to their countries because they have SOMETHING beyond a mere fine building. |

The beautiful edifice just inaugurated in Uyo should have within it a Museum of Religion, History, and Culture fir it to have value. Curators should populate the centre with relevant artefacts that significantly reflect the religious, historical, and cultural aspects of Akwa Ibom State where scholars, students, citizens, and tourists can view, apprehend, and enjoy fir a fee. This doesn't stop the centre from being a worship centre. But I foresee a deluge of attacks from religious people so eager to label others as pagans, but who are indeed far from righteousness. In any case, the objective of the mordern government is not religion. The objective of contemporary governance is economic, political, and social. Religion will not place AKS or Nigeria among the comity of nations. It is science, tech, and innovation! It is ea reason we have remained backward since we decided to prioritise religion over science. |

My point is, if men are able to toil and make a name for themselves through various achievements, inheriting parents properties will only be seen as an added advantage, not something to fight and scream over. I guess we should abandon our parents property once we've archived our own. |

He knows everything about me that my parents don't even know till dates..We could go to a gathering together and I will be the one ordering and paying for everything we bought even recently because I always acted like the big bro and he accepted I guess .. Just last week I saw it on his status about is house opening invite. I later got a dm from him that same evening telling me about it that I should come through.
It came as a surprise I admit, even though I know he was doing quite well for himself. I know some will call it entitlement mentality but since I considered we were close like a brother we even ate from same plate last 2weeks, I thought I should have known atleast.
Note: I noticed so many people will come in here to call me names, even some accusing me to be someone with bad motives and sort I smile. Not everyone has a evil mindset like you or some persons you know, It's just that when you expect so much from people you hold very close to your heart you might get disappointed and it hurts badly.
Especially when you know you can't do that same thing to that person. I only brought it out here because I wanted to know maybe I'm overreacting because I feel a deep level of betrayal but hey I am happy for him and I will attend the house opening tomorrow.
