DOES THIS SAY THEY WILL CEASE TO EXIST ? Come on guy they will suffer for all eternity , u can't be serious with ur interpretation.

Revelation 21:4

Let's read the context shall we :

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 BUT the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur, THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.” Revelation 21: 4-8

Obviously the above passage proves ur interpretation is completely incorrect.

NLT- "David was looking into the future and speaking of the Messiah’s resurrection. He was saying that God would not leave him among the dead or allow his body to rot in the grave"

NIV "Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay"

Hades is the greek translation from the hebrew word Sheol which refers to the place where the dead goes.

Guy I was only referring to that passage in revelations , also evens IF my interpretation is completely wrong it still doesn't support ur view that death means non-existence.

Since the bible says many times evil people will suffer in hell.

As I said the book of Revelation is full of imagery.

Are u telling me everywhere the bible said people will suffer in hell is just symbolic even tho there are clear statements from jesus that hell is a real place.

Either way u look at it my interpretation is clearly far more reasonable than any of urs, since the book of Revelation is not the only time the bible says evildoers will suffer in the flames.

If this meant that the wicked will no longer exist after death u have a problem since the same psalm say the righteous will dwell in the land 4eva , BUT WE NO DEATH COMES TO ALL.

The same psalm says :

"Turn from evil and do good;
    then you will dwell in the land forever"

Does this mean the wicked will exist forever if they repent? For that to be true that wud mean no1 dies since u said death means to cease to exist but since the wicked can repent they can exist 4eva

U have a spirit in ur body currently right?

So wen is the moment u die? It occurs wen the spirit is no longer in the body and wat does that mean, it means it must separate from ur body.

I'm sure cuz it's obvious that the bible teaches the wicked will suffer in hell for all eternity.

And I'm pretty sure Hades and hell represents evildoers since the book of Revelation is full of symbolism and imagery.

I said the 2nd death. U claim death means to cease to exist but the 2nd death proves u wrong due to the fact people will suffer after it.

The point is "death" does not mean what u claim means .

Cuz If it meant what u claim then people wud not suffer after the 2nd death.

Here in (acts 7:30-38) Christian martyr Stephen says the Angel spoke to Moses. Again agreeing with me.
