Either you are dumb or you don't get it. Lemme assume it's the latter. Some people were born Witnesses and spent all their lives there. Franz joined as a kid and was there till his 50's or 60's. Bethel work ensured he did not have kids. You are discouraged from "associating" with "worldlings" since you are "no part of the world as Jesus said". So you grow up having your entire family and and all your close friends within the system . I know one who said he actually had bad relationship with some of his non-JW relatives for having refused to attend their naming ceremonies and the like. (Some took it personal) Then one day, it's all gone - friends, kids, family, all. Because you confided in someone about a church teaching you thought was out of place and got hauled into the backroom and the backroom minders felt the church had to be saved from you.

And so what , He Born as a JW, indoctrinated as a kid .... Is dat a point? Thats not a point at all , go into the world and see how those who call themselves christians and muslims alike indoctrinate their child . ALL PARENTS CARRY THEIR CHILDS WITH THEM TO CHURCH AND MOSQUES . Mayb thats what u call indoctrination. Nope , the parents are only doing their own jobs to train u .

I am not disfellowshipped, but was shunned by my JW family when I was young. As I have said above: 'I have to deal with the ones in my family constantly challenging me, and affecting the happiness of my mother. They want me in their paradise so much that they feel to nit pick at my choices.'

It really wouldn't be an issue if I really disassociated myself from all of them. He loves me, and I don't have a cold heart. I couldn't be as cold as they are being towards my mother, it's unnatural. My mother's issues are separate from my own.

In ur bible , there was a story of a man who was disfellowshipped , he had excessive sadness , why ? He want them to accept him back . ( 2 cor 2: 1 -7) mayb ur mum is still interested . Let her make her intentions known.

In ur own case, before u bite this pple , ask urself : hw many muslims or protestants can allow their child mary a catholic ? They all found bowing to a statue offensive to the christian God .

A Yoruba man wrote a book and this word was found
there 'GBNG' whereas most of the place this word
appeared it indicated that it's referring to someone.
So what a Scholar of Yoruba will do are:
1. Understand that this is someone's name
2. Know that something has already missing in those
letter, since such word never convey any REAL NAME
in Yoruba.
3. Find how to resolve this dilemma by substituting
some letters to make it pronounceable and have
meaning.
4. So in Yoruba like other languages there's vowel and
consonant. So if will begin to insert letters many
WORDS will come out, we'll surely get name and some
incorrect word i.e [b]GB(e)NG(o), GB(a)NG(o), GB(o)N
(e)G, GB(e)N(o)G(a), GB(a)N(e)G(a), GB(e)NG(a) e.t.c
5. From here, I'll only take the two underlined words GB

This is baseless, Greek is different from Hebrew Just as Hausa is different from Yoruba but you can find equivalent word in two languages but having the same meaning. So if you're expecting the same PARALLEL and SPELLING word in the two Languages then you mean the two Languages should be the same.



English equivalent of Yir-meya'hu is Jeremiah likewise Yesha-ya'hu is Isaiah so if I'm speaking English I use English equivalent words if I'm speaking Hebrew I use Hebrew words.

I don't study people doctrines, I study the Bible. And the truth is that I don't know about the teaches of trinitarians, but I have seen in my Bible that Jesus is God and that God the Father and Jesus is one God. I don't understand how this is possible (i.e two persons being one God) but it is all over the Bible and I don't have a choice but to believe it.
But JW try to twist anything they don't understand forgetting that the human mind is small compared with the wisdom of God. And there are mysterious things about God that our mind can't grasp.
