We all already know all the Presidential candidates I. tomorrow’s election. Most people will vote on the basis of political party affiliation, but with little or no knowledge of who their representatives are.

Do you know the following:

1. Your senator
2. Your member of the house of reps.
3. Your member of the state assembly
4. Your local government chairman
5. Your councillor

These people play major roles in what happens in your constituency as the call you their constituents. Aside from holding the President and Governors accountable, these people are part of the system, and they are to be held accountable too. Knowing them all is very important to you.

If you know your representatives and they are not performing well, now is the opportunity to discard them with your votes.

Atiku a paperweight politician?

Some of you just talk carelessly. How old were you when Atiku left the customs in 1989 and ventured into politics? Do you have an idea of his political trajectory or career? Having won the governorship election in 1999, on what account did PDP advise Obasanjo to pick his as the Vice President? How old were you in 1999?

Tell us why you called Atiku a paperweight politician.

That’s simply how it will end. I will tell you why.

- The PDP governorship candidate for Rivers state is shielded away from the EFCC by Wike. He used to be the Accountant General and he is needed to sort himself out over the allegations of embezzlement. Wike through the accountant general shows there are secrets with the finances.

- If Wike’s candidate loses, he will be arrested. He’s arrest will open the window to Wike’s arrest.

- If Atiku wins, Wike’s political career will be over. He’s ability to use judges will be checkmated. Atiku and Ayu will deal ruthlessly with him to teach him some lessons in politics. Wike now has more enemies in the PDP than friends. They too will show him that in politics, interest matters.

- Wike rise in wealth from the point that he became a local government chairman remains mysterious. He does not hide the fact that he has Rivers state to thank for all that he has achieved.

- Wike’s politics is called the politics of bitterness. He demands for equity from his party, whereas his party discarded equity to make him the governor after Amaechi, his kinsman.

- He wanted a PDP Muslim/Christian candidate, but has made a sudden turn around supporting an APC Muslim/Muslim ticket. He lost grounds in Rivers state instantly.

- Now that Buhari is leaving, he’s party members freely criticize him and make mockery of him. They know that he will be out of power in three months and can do nothing against them anymore. So also, Wike has forgotten that he has three months to go. His supporters are already seeking alliances with the next governor. Wike’s words no longer carry power and there’s no fear anymore.

- Wike can neither guarantee APC nor PDP a win in Rivers state. If he’s supporters continue with APC, his governorship candidate will lose out because of the confusion with identifying the party to vote for.

- The Igbos make up a very huge population in Rivers state. Wike denies his Igbo roots. It is payback time. Remember the Obigbo massacre? The Igbos will vote against his candidate as payback. The Igbo APC and SDP supporters will vote for their candidates, while Obi who has become a super power in Rivers state will expect a very huge chunk of their votes. The Ikwerres, Ijaws, Ogoni, etc, will vote the parties of their choices.

- Wike’s 100,000 SAs can only speak for themselves. The masses who are much more will carry the day.

- Wike’s resort to violence will be matched by others, who already are accustomed to his style of election rigging.

Whether the Pastor prophesied correctly or not, the facts are clear against Wike.
