My brother Im glad you can see where i am coming from, if you listen to the US congressman's speech you will hear him say things like: nobody cares about sub saharan africa - "sub saharan" is a european code word for "black" - what this congressman really meant to say was: nobody gives a damn about black africans, the western nations are only interested in the natural resources in the ground. France's track record towards africans and people of african descent is really terrible, every country they are involved in they destroy - this is the same way that they destroyed Haiti.

They made sure they punished Haiti for freeing itself from french enslavement by forcing the newly emancipated nation to pay France compensation which ran into millions of francs for "lost property" (freed slaves) - this effectively led to Haiti's bankruptcy and economic collapse.

Good write up, well if we are going by Obama's record in Africa it dose not look to good for Cameroon at present. doesnt the US and britain recruit mercenaries to fight wars for it when it doesnt have enough troops, some of the worlds biggest private mercenary contractors are british and american - these are multimillion dollar company's that recruit private contractors to fight for their respective govts - blackwater is a private american mercenary company that is currently fighting in libya - the mercenaries in this compa\ny have been responsible for comitting terrible atrocities everywhere they are sent to fight, so please tell me why gadaffi should not also recruit mercenaries from his own continent to fight if he hasnt got enough soldiers to help him repel a foreign invasion?

by the way the nigerian army is recruited regularly by the US and britain for so called peacekeeping in countries around africa where europeans do not want to send their own white troops - does that not also equate to the use of mercenaries after all the nigerian soldiers are being paid to fight foreigners in another country over issues that have nothign to do with them or their own country under the guise of "peacekeeping" .

The scandal has cast fresh light on France's historically murky ties to African dictators, who for decades allegedly doled out dirty petrodollars to French politicians in exchange for diplomatic and military support in a set-up known as "Françafrique".

Robert Bourgi claimed on Sunday he personally handed millions of francs from five African leaders to Mr Chirac when he was mayor of Paris and later president, along with Mr Villepin, his right hand man.

Mr Bourgi, 66, says the money, which he variously transported in a sports bag, a poster and even a ceremonial African drum, came from Burkina Faso, the Congo, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

Yesterday, he estimated having lugged a total of $20 million (almost £13 million) to Mr Chirac and Mr Villepin between 1997 and 2005. Around half of this went into funding Mr Chirac's successful 2002 electoral campaign, he claimed.

Bernard Houdin, an adviser to former Ivory Coast President Laurent Gbagbo, said that such payments were "a historical practice" and that "the sums mentioned are no doubt below reality".

Here is my answer, as to what he has done to somewhat deserve the 'unwarranted insults':

He falsely claimed to have all what it would take to steer to safety our fast drifting ship that is carrying over 150 millions of us; he even wasted so much of our resources to go round on board the ship persuading and, almost literally begging people, to trust him and believe in his capabilities and competence to check the drift and chart an entirely new, safer course for us.

But ever since he has taken control, he simply allows the ship to continue to drift further and sink deeper, thereby making us even more concerned about our collective fate and individual lives, and thus disappointing everybody, including those who had confidence in him.

He now tells us to pray to God the Almighty to steer the ship to safety for us!

Worse still, he adds that we should not compare him to any great personalities of the past or the present.
In fact he is telling us that we should not even compare him to anything that is traditionally associated with bravery and courage, such as a lion or an army general!.

But if he knew that he is such a fncking chicken-hearted corward, why did he insist on being allowed to take control of a sinking ship with over 150 million of us on board?

So this is what your man has done to deserve our calling out and shouting at him; we are really terrified that the way he is steering our ship we are heading only to one direction - sinking deep down the sea.

If he had not taken control of our collective destiny, if he were merely staying in his creeks, or anywhere else for that matter, enjoying his life as a private citizen with his good family members, how many people do you think would give a hoot about him?  

It is just so, so sad how ethnic, sectarian and regional sentiments and divisions have killed this our otherwise great nation!
