Capitalism is flawed because it is a system built on unsustainable debt. In the fantasy world of international Banking and Finance, economic growth=debt and gambling in the stock market with "derivatives" and "sub-prime lending" and such other bull s.hit. It's also called a "Casino economics", perfected in the United States of America and other Anglo-Saxon countries. It's a system designed to keep a few people wealthy by shuffling debt around. Government officials have responded to the debt problem by adding more debt. Unfortunately, piling debt on debt cannot solve the problem. This is what a Ponzi scheme; Las Vegas-like secret casino looks like. To keep the pyramid-like structure from acute economic collapse, more and more money is doled out by those wishing to keep the speculation going. Meanwhile, inequality is growing at dangerous levels in the United States; http://www.austinweeklynews.com/main.asp?SectionID=3&SubSectionID=3&ArticleID=3330 And America is indebted to China to the tune of 1.16 TRILLION DOLLARS. In effect, the US is bankrupt http://money.cnn.com/2011/01/18/news/international/thebuzz/index.htm; The West is dying because of this unproductive "Casino economy" Only thing I see "growing" in the next few years is the rise of Fascism and the Far-Right. FACT: 1. Westerners are tolerating immigration, because they think they are fine off as long as they got money. This entire financial system will collapse. THEN WE WILL SEE A HUGE UPRISING. When whites lose their jobs, and their materialist bubble burst, they will have to see the truth for what it is. They can’t decorate their inauthentic lives with 50 inch flat screen TVs when they lose their job. 2. Then, a charismatic fascist demagogue will emerge, Adolf Hitler style, whose final solution will include caricaturing black and brown immigrants as the source of all economic troubles (this is already happening with Geert Wilders, Pauline Hanson, the BNP, Vlamms Bloek, Tea Party, The Norwegian Mass Murderer, etc, etc, ). 3. Then after that, it will be time for another Holocaust; that Western speciality. Diaspora people, you have been warned,
According to economic analysts - China is actually what is keeping america afloat because they (the chinese) continue to accept american treasury bills in exchange for their exports - one american economist actually stated that without the credit that america gets from china and other creditor nations it (america) would not be able to finance its military machine - if this is the case why does china continue to accept these T bills knowign that they are being used to finance america's war machine? the points you raised above are interesting - the thing that i dont understand is why did the US govt decide to kill its manufacturing industry by offshoring everything to south east asia, didnt they know that this would result in massive unemployment? now that they've offshored the bulk of their manufacgturing industry can they make a u turn and decide to bring it all back and reindustrialise their economy and stop this crazy casino economy (as you correctly described it) that is fast turning into a major catastrophe? I agree with your points about fascism - Adolf Hitler's rise to power began when the german economy collapsed, things were so bad in germany - people were eating out of dustbins and queueing for hours outside soup kitchens to get one meal a day. The jews were blamed for everything and hitler's storm troopers (thugs) went around beating up jews, smashing their shops and stealing their property, the german people who were envious of their prosperity sided with the storm troopers and felt the jews deserved to be taken down a peg. this carried on until Hitler legalised the compulsory deportation of all jews to concentration camps where they were worked to death, starved and murdered. People think history can never repeat itself, unfortunately it has a nasty habit of doing just that. |
Builder:I agree with most of your points apart from: Gadaffi being killed and BP moving in to take over Libya's oil industry. NATO will have to take tripoli first and i dont beleive they can do that without sustaining massive casualties - which is what they are trying to avoid because of the backlash they will suffer from their respective populations, america is bankrupt and simply can not afford this war any longer, britain doesnt do anything without america giving authorisation first, the other european countries are totally fed up of wasting money on this misadventure, Berlusconi is being threatened with impeachment by his political opponents in italy if he carries on wasting money they havent got on this fiasco, spain is in dire straits financially, norway stated categorically 2 weeks ago that they would be pulling out of libya once and for all by the end of this month so the whole thing is falling apart. Im impressed that you read Chomsky - i read his work too. |
Ode buruku!!! It's africans like you that seat in front of BBC all day eating the western propaganda, and then drink water to push it down. Which Gaddafi is killing Libyans? keep believing the white man's lie. Just like they lied to you in 2003 that Saddam has WMDs and can destroy half the world in 45 minutes and mugus like you chop am. Same story here, nothing different - It's NATO killing civillians now, dropping bomds everywhere. May the Almighty give Ghaddafi victory over these devils
![]() thanks for trying to educate that dummy. the west are now facing a very big dilemma - how to get out of libya without facing even more humiliation - at the moment they have gone from saying that Gadaffi must leave libya to - Gadaffi can now stay - as long as he is not involved in running the country!!!!! see U turn ![]() these fools underestimated the support that Gadaffi has from his people, the civillian population of libya are all armed with kalashnikovs and hand held Rocket propelled grenades, and they are ready to die in order to defend tripoli from a foreign invasion - if gadaffi were hated by his people - do you think he could risk arming 2 million men and women ? - this is what the west are terrified of - they are cowards, they know that they will face a blood bath if they try to invade tripoli using their own troops, it will become a repeat of vietnam and that will definitely lead to Obama's impeachment . the only thing NATO and the americans know how to do is stay 40,000 feet above ground dropping bombs on pregnant women and babies, now that they have found that they cant remove gadaffi in this way they have started talking about negotiating with him. |
9ce Hope:I really hate these pathetic religious fanatics - they are very low on common sense, they never take responsiblity for anything in life. LEARN TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND STOP USING THE BIBLE AS AN EMOTIONAL CRUTCH - JEEZ!!! |
NAJALYN:religious fanaticism and stup.idity all rolled into one - the above poster seems to suffering from both of those vices. Yes she should fast and pray while the supposed husband continues to abuse and degrade her - does that make sense to you? would it be better for her to sit tight and wait for him to infect her with various deadly STDs because according to you "divorce is not an option". |
nigerian women are really going through hell, why would any woman continue to put up with a man who refuses to provide for his own family and then as if thats not bad enough cheat openly with another woman!! things that men get away with in nigeria they could only dream of getting away with in the west as no woman in her right mind would tolerate such bad treatment from a supposed husband and still stick around. |
Nigeria is a capitalist country, it practices capitalism in a harsh undiluted form, so how come so many of you are trying to get the hell out of the place then? It has no safety nets for the poor, no unions or collective bargaining for its workers, only recently introduced a minimum wage, it has privatised almost all of its public utilities and has opened up the entire country to foreign investors, so why is almost everyone in the country poor? Why is it that the only people benefitting from this capitalist paradise are the politicians, retired army officers and their relatives, how come this free enterprise hasnt created innovation, efficiency and competition in nigeria? |
The West Has Begun Eating Its Own Vomit in Libya By Michael J.K. Bokor, Ph.D. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 After creating the impression that Libya's Muammar Gaddafi has lost his legitimacy to continue ruling the country and must “go,” the West is now backtracking in desperation. It is changing the tune. Britain's Foreign Secretary, William Hague, said yesterday that “Gaddafi must relinquish power but “may not have to leave Libya,” according to a BBC news report. This statement, which reinforces a similar one made last week by France's Defence Minister, Alain Juppe, conflicts sharply with what we have heard since the West inserted itself into the Libyan crisis on March 19. We wonder what other surprises there are yet to come. The “Gaddafi-must-go” refrain seems to be the favourite tune of US Foreign Secretary, Hillary Clinton, which she sings loud wherever she finds herself. But now that that tune has been changed by the French and British NATO partners, will she alone continue to sing the old tune; or will she also sooner than later turn to the new chorus? This shift in stance suggests that the West is gradually coming to terms with reality. Its political rhetoric and military campaign in Libya are fraught with inconsistencieshich can't help the rebels overthrow Gaddafi. Nor can the International Coalition itself do so without paying a huge price. They must have known by now that dislodging Gaddafi from Tripoli will be more costly than bending over to eat back their own vomit—which is what they are doing. This turn of events doesn't surprise me at all. The reversal by the French and British confirms the pervasive ambivalence that runs through the International Coalition's campaign in Libya—by loudly claiming that they were in Libya to solve purely humanitarian problems and not for regime change only to turn round to attempt doing that very thing. To say that Gaddafi can live in Libya is annoying. Who do the political figures in the West think they are to determine where a country's President should be? They are behaving as if they have any right to call the shots, which is nonsensical. Also unbecoming is William Hague's suggestion that whether Gaddafi should leave or remain in his own country is a “question for Libyans.” Who are these LIBYANS? It appears that Hague and those who think like him cannot comprehend the Libyan crisis in its entirety to know that those fighting Gaddafi are in the minority and can't hold the majority to ransom just because they are being backed by superior military armaments from the West. Conservatively, we can say that the anti-Gaddafi elements constitute just a third of the Libyan population of nearly 5 million. So, if Gaddafi's fate is to be determined by “Libyans,” should that onus be on the minority who are against him or the majority who support him? According to William Hague, “What happens to Gaddafi is ultimately a question for the Libyans” (BBC News). If that were the case, why should the West not listen to the majority Libyans who are against the NATO military campaign against their country? Or the hounding of their leader? Of course, the shift in stance seems to affect the rebel leadership too, now that they know removing Gaddafi from power won't come as easily as they had anticipated. And fully aware that taking Tripoli or Sirte (or any other territory with solid support for Gaddafi) can't be done without much cost, the rebel leadership is buckling to indicate that Gaddafi and his family can remain in Libya conditionally: to give up power and agree to certain conditions as part of a political deal to end the war. Again, we view Hague's suggestion as a clear demonstration of frustration at the West's own inability to remove Gaddafi from power. It is becoming increasingly clear that the International Coalition cannot achieve its objectives in Libya without further exposing its own fundamental weaknesses. At different levels of engagement, its approach has turned out to be ineffectual. We know that the International Coalition entered Libya with the express objective to solve the humanitarian problems created in mid-February when the uprising erupted in Benghazi against Gaddafi. But that urge quickly turned into a different objective when, instead of enforcing the “no-fly zone” mandate authorized by the UN Security Council Resolution 1973, the International Coalition took it upon itself to launch devastating airstrikes on anything perceived as pro-Gaddafi as part of efforts to actualize the sub-text of regime change. In pursuit of this objective, NATO has taken over the anti-Gaddafi battle to fight on behalf of the rebels. While it destroys pro-Gaddafi forces and Libya's infrastructure from airstrikes, it paves the way for the rebels to fight on the ground. So far, more than 710 of such installations have been destroyed by the British Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, and Army Air Corps since the military action began on March 19, according to the British Ministry of Defence (BBC News, July 5, 2011). Despite all that havoc, Gaddafi is still in power and his loyal followers in the major cities (Tripoli, Sirte, Zawiya, and Zlitan, among others) continue to reaffirm their support for him. Gaddafi has persistently refused to heed the demand that he should not only step down but must also leave his country. By refusing to obey such an imposition, Gaddafi may be complicating matters as far as the AU's peace overtures are concerned; or he may be repudiating the Libya Contact Group's so-called political solution in the form of proposals for a ceasefire that he is to obey. But his stance further questions the justification for NATO's military campaign itself or France's back-door arming of the rebels, contrary to the UN Security Council's Resolution 1970. Gaddafi has proved to be resilient and calculating enough to withstand the enormous pressure being exerted on him. Having already known the objectives of his opponents, Gaddafi has no other option but to fight on. Only then will the political powers behind NATO's mission come to realize that the Libyan conflict is a political one that must be solved politically. In a clear demonstration of duplicity, the Libya Contact Group has suggested that it wants to solve the problem through political means; but with NATO's persistent bombing raids on Tripoli and other pro-Gaddafi territories, there is no iota of doubt in my mind that the West has nothing new with which to solve the problem. It has only adroitly changed its game plan—hiding behind the so-called political solution to intensify the airstrikes in addition to enforcing sanctions to worsen the plight of Libyan citizens in pro-Gaddafi territories. The objective is to starve those territories of much-needed commodities like petrol—as we can tell from the long queues at petrol stations in Tripoli. The expectation is that when the people can't get what they need to live under Gaddafi's government, they will revolt and create conditions for NATO and the rebels to take advantage of. Gaddafi is in no mood to be dictated to; hence, the conflict will persist for as long as it will take him to prove to his opponents that they have bitten off more than they can chew. Now in its 6th month, the Libyan conflict has exposed the lapses in the International Coalition's militaristic agenda. Many instances confirm that the International Coalition entered Libya with no other plan but to remove Gaddafi from office and install in his stead the Benghazi-based rebel leaders grouped into the Transitional National Council. Amy's drug-addled ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil left out of her £10million will |
Amy Winehouse left a £10 million pound fortune which will now be shared equally amongst her surviving family members: her mother, father and brother. Im happy to hear that, the tabloid newspapers - the sun and the daily mail are jubilating about how she left nothing to her ex husband Blake Fielder Civil - i think they are being cruel and presumptuous, the guy never asked Amy for a penny when they divorced and is currently so overcome with grief that he is on suicide watch, not everyone out there is a gold digger. The guy had his faults - he was a bad influence on Amy but ultimately i think he loved her. |
AMY Winehouse's jailed ex-husband broke down in tears after learning of her death, and admitted yesterday: "I'm beyond inconsolable , my tears won't dry." |
shooze:well done for having the courage to share this - and im happy you were able to fight and overcome the addiction. |
Its so easy to stand in judgement on a person and become judge jury and executioner when you have never attempted to do anything remotely interesting with your own life (davidylan). Its so easy to pretend to have all the answers when all throughout your life all you've ever done is copy ad nauseam what has already done before (davidylan) mediocrity is celebrated as a desirable attribute whereas individuality, creativity, raw talent and genius is sneered at by people who have contributed nothing of note to humanity (davidylan) Amy was a victim of a troubled upbringing - she was emotionally fragile, she was dependant on drugs and alcohol not because she was a reckless fool but because she saw it as a form of escapism from her troubled life. |
ThiefOfHearts:cheers sis, no one knows the cause of death yet but its pointing towards an overdose as she bought cocaine, ketamine and heroin from a drug dealer the day before she died AND she had been drinking a lot , plus she was very depressed because of her split with her ex. |
davidylan:the problem with you is that you have no appreciation for artistic genius - in your cocooned, boring grey world, sucess is all about adapting to the status quo ie doing some mundane boring 9 to 5 job and earning enough to pay the bills, getting a mortgage an SUV and then sending your children to school so that they too can learn to be robotic morons just like daddy - the beauty of the world we live in is that its made up of people with dynamic exciting views, people who are not afraid to push back boundaries and who love to explore new avenues - these kind of people are creative geniuses - a phrase you might be unfamiliar with!!! Unlike you they prefer to explore the world on their own terms not on the terms of others, you will never understand them because you are not privilged to be a member of their exclusive club hence your extreme antipathy towards them, they belong to the class of alphas while you belong to the beta group. There is nothing irresponsible about thinking outside the box, there is nothing irresponsible about not wanting to be a brain dead follower, it takes great courage to step outside the box of conformity and venture down the much more precarious path of unconventionality - Fela did it, John Lennon did it, Kurt Cobain did it and Amy Winehouse did it, when you chose to be different you expose yourself to a whole new ball game - you are now fair game for media intrusion, gold diggers, black mailers, the list is endless, in the end it all becomes too much and it gets to you -it takes a highly disciplined mind to be able to turn away from drugs under such extreme mental pressure. you obviously have no understanding of this because you took the easy option - you chose obscurity, a 9 to 5 job and anonymity. Try walking in their shoes for just one day if you are man enough. Why arent you living life on the edge? Seating here to chat on the internet is quite "robotic and boring" you know . . . its the kind of life you'd expect for "conformists" like me not you.unlike you i am broadminded enough to live and let live, i dont stand in judgement on people who choose to live their lives differently from mine, there are many people who may take an instant dislike to how you live your life but an intelligent mind understands that in this life you can not expect everyone to have the same values and perspectives as you. 1. And SO freaking what? They were outstanding musical geniuses who added SQUAT WHAT to our lives? People with boring 9 to 5 jobs are the REASON you have an education, have an improved standard of living. They are the doctors who make sure we live in relative good health, they are the police-officers who maintain law and order, the scientists who put us on the moon, an aircraft in the sky and a car for us to drive (instead of riding horses).this goes back to my earlier point about your lack of artistic appreciation - to you life is all about going to work, making money and coming home - your level of understanding is not yet evolved to the point where you can appreciate that music is an art form. do you know the psychological effects of music on the human psyche? are you aware of the immense power of music and the lyrics that go along with songs? why do you think musicians in the western world are some of the most lauded and respected people in the world? Have some more respect for these folks pls.no , i respect talented geniuses who touch people's lives in a postive way - again something that is lost on an artistic phillistine like yourself. Sigh. See above for the incredulity of calling doctors and lawyers boring.this is why we live in a world made up of people with different talents and abilities, we cant all be doctors and lawyers, we cant all be firemen and nurses, everyone has been anointed with their own talent and everyone must answer to their respective calling in life - Amy Winehouse's calling in life was as a singer, songwriter and performer - there would have been no point in her going to work in an office - she would have just ended up frustrated - she answered her calling in life and gave the world her wonderful soulful voice. Yeah . . . just imagining what the parents of Jimi Hendrix or Amy Winehouse are going through makes me even more determined to be involved in my child's decisions. I'm sure those parents (who definitely knew how to raise children) are SO GLAD they allowed their children to "pursue their own dreams" which included dying as an irresponsible, unfulfilled 27 yr old.If you could only come down from your high horse you would discover that Amy had a troubled upbringing, she was a very emotionally fragile person and people like this are more susceptible to drug use. Her family tried to be there for her but it is very difficult to erase the damage of a troubled childhood. hmmm this is disgracefully ignorant. Fela's parents were extremely strict! When it comes to education, they remain pioneers in Abeokuta till today and they were certainly VERY demanding when it came to their kids educational and career choices. Fela and his father had a falling out over his choice . . .would he have been better off as a medical doctor or a lawyer? i think not he had the strength of character to stick to his guns and stick to what he was put on this earth to do, for that he shoudl be respected. Yes Fela was a musical genius, but he died in relative poverty an aids patient. His two brothers? One a famous SAN and the other a professor of medicine and former health minister who both died at a ripe old age. I know which i would choose.Fela acheived more in one lifetime than people like yourself will ever acheive in 100 lifetimes, despite coming from an affluent background he fought for the rights of the poor man on the street, he exposed himself to beatings, intimidation and abuse from a draconian and corrupt political system, he stared death in the face and was not afraid to put his own life on the line for what he beleived in , he was a a symbol of courage, strength and pan africanism - will anyone remember you for anything remotely positive when you die? Yeah rather be stuck in the 18th century than end up like 21st century Amy Winehouse.to be honest no one gives a damn about you or your views, you are just another anonymous wage slave, content to revel in a life of boring anonymity Go to youtube, such talents are a dime a dozen. A youtube group re-arranged the song "you are the world" for Haiti, it was MILES better than the one recorded by so-called musical geniuses.but not in the same league as Ms Winehouse - Some of the greatest names in the music industry like Elton JOhn and Mary J Blige have heaped praise on Ms Winehouse, people who are themselves great acheivers and yet you who knows nothing about music continues to criticise such a talent - perhaps you know something about music that Elton John and Mary J Blige dont!!!! lol!!! Bill Gates has never won a grammy in his life . . . so what? Does he care? Yeah a grammy is all there is to life.boring !! Bill Gates is a giant in his own field - what has his field of endeavour got to do with the entertainment industry? But at least it wont lead to drug-addled death at 27 right? Amy died as a 20-yr old "superstar" . . . sure her parents are feeling proud right now. Perhaps they can now eat her awards or raise them as grandkids? You will never understand - because your experience and understanding of life is severely limited - thank god the world isnt filled with narrow minded people like yourself!!!! |
davidylan:Not everyone is cut out to be a boring, robotic conformist - some of the greatest icons in the world were non conformists who preferred to live life on the edge rather than end up living boring, straight laced lives like you. What would the world have been like if the likes of Jimi Hendrix, JOhn Lennon, Kurt Cobain , Billie Holiday had ended up doing 9 to 5 jobs? - these people were all outstanding musical geniuses, sensitive, intelligent and in the case of John Lennon extremely charismatic but they answered their calling in life which was to become musicians, song writers and entertainers - they also INGESTED A LOT OF DRUGS - but that will never detract from what they acheived in their short lifetimes and what people continue to remember them for - drug taking is one of the hazards of the entertainment industry it takes extreme mental discipline to steer clear ffrom them if you are an entertainer. The idea that everyone has to end up as doctor or lawyer and live a boring conventional lifestyle is the reason why so many nigerian children end up living empty unfulfilled lives because instead of pursuing their dreams they merely pursue the dreams of their parents - that my friend is not how to raise children -children should be allowed to pursue their own dreams with the parents giving guidance when needed along the way. Fela Kuti was a musical genius with outstanding talent - he will always be remembered for that irrespective of his lifestyle - imagine what it would be like if he had had parents like you who would hve insisted that he study to become a doctor or a lawyer, imagine the talent which would have been wasted and imagine the frustration that he would have experienced in an unfulfilled life. You need to get out of your narrow mindset and free your mind, cos you sound like your stuck in the 18th century. Amy winehouse was a success whether you want to accept it or not, it is no mean feat to sell millions of records around the world by the age of 20, you dismiss her acheivements without even understanding anything about her talent, she wrote her own lyrics and played musical instruments - can you do that? can you write songs that appeal to people from different, races, classes and cultures and make money from doing it as well ? you call a grammy award meaniningless - really - what have you done in your personal life that tops that? by the way being a married doctor at 27 with 2 kids is so mediocre - there are thousands if not millions of people who have achieved that and much more - how many people do you know that have become critically acclaimed international superstars by the age of 20? |
Sagamite:lets compare the short but exceptionally talented life of Amy Winehouse with the lonely, envious, miserable and empty life of self appointed internet warrior sagamite: sagamite - functional illiterate - check inability to communicate or grasp basic concepts - check callous motor park tout mentality - check below average iq - check Amy winehouse award winning superstar by the age of 20, talented singer songwriter. In a million lifetimes Sagamite you will never and can never acheive anything remotely close to Amy's success, so why dont you go away and do what you normally do every sunday in order to ease your frustration - go and have a long self-service - okay ![]() |
ElRazur:wow! you must really have warped tastes - sagamite? entertaining - jeez Isnt entertainment supposed to uplift you and make you feel good not make you lose the will to live? Amy was exceptionally talented and touched many with her wonderful tear stained and soulful voice , sagamite - on the other hand despite many years of contributing absolutely nothing to anyone anywhere on the face of the planet will never be noticed the day he does everyone a favour and drops dead. |
Aqva:co-sign bro, you totally hit the nail on the head |
Amy was said to be devastated and ‘inconsolable’ after being dumped by her on-off boyfriend Reg Traviss, 34, just before she checked herself into The Priory rehabilitation clinic last month. |
Tragic Amy Winehouse 'heartbroken' over split from Reg Traviss as she dies aged 27Amy was a fragile young woman who was let down by a lot of people in her life, it sounds like she couldnt cope with the split from her boyfriend and decided to end it all. |
claremont:thank you, nonentities who will never be rememberd when they die and who in a million life times will never acheive one zillionth of what this young woman achieved during her brief sojourn on earth continue to stand in judgement over her, fools. |
I cant imagine what her parents must be going through, they fought to try and wean her off her addiction to coke and heroin, they fought to get her away from the clutches of the drug addict she was married to, i remember her dad even saying that if she did not end her relationship with her drug addicted ex husband (blake fielder- civil) both of them would be dead within months - this must be a complete and total nightmare for amy's parents. |
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This is tragic - this girl was so talented |
justwise:Justwise i didnt say i blame britain and america for ALL the problems in Nigeria but i blame them for MOST of the problems in nigeria - they created the enabling environment for what we have in nigeria to exist, they laid the foundation, they financed, planned and in some cases executed the military coup detats (Murtala Muhammed and Buhari) which put in power compliant puppets to do their bidding - do you not think that they have a case to answer? You sound like you get most of your information from the Daily Mail - keep up the good work mate!!! |
The OP makes a lot of very valid points but many posters simply can not get beyond their materialistic and consumer orientated perspective on life to see the truth in his words. I dont think the poster is comparing the US to Nigeria in terms of economic development - america is an industrialised nation which built its wealth on the enslavement of african people and the appropriation of land of other weaker peoples- its an empire - that is enough for it to be a world leader, no if im not mistaken the op is referring to the adverse effect that life in america has on the average nigerian. debt - i agree with the poster - debt has a terrible effect on the every day lifestyle of the average person in america, and unless you are a multi millionaire, have paid off your mortgage, are not shelling out huge tuition fees to pay for an education you cant escape it in america - debt is the reason you have to put up with doing a job you hate or working with people you despise - effectively you have to go out and work in order to get rid of it in order to prevent losing your home and your lifestyle - in other words you become a wage slave, this debt hangs over your head sometimes until after you die. stress - for the average nigerian who wasnt brought up in the west life can be stressful because of how much harder you have to work in order to afford your standard of living - unlike nigeria when you can chill out with friends and family after a hard days work you may find yourself coming home to either an empty home with just the tv for company. If you are lucky enough to have friends and family around you they may be too busy to visit because they too are caught up in the treadmill lifestyle as well, a survey was carried out in the uk and it was discovered that blacks who live and work in the uk are more prone to suffer from depression and stress related illnesses than their counterparts who live much harder lives back home in nigeria!!! professional devalue - unless you are a medical doctor, scientist, surgeon or trained in any other highly specialised field where there are a shortage of skilled personnel you will not be placed on the same level as american or uk trained professional and will be expected to start your training from scratch - which means going in to debt (see above) so i agree with this point as well. prices - food prices are rising steadily all over the western world and are set to go through the roof the minuite the US dollar crashes and is no longer the world reserve currency, american economists are predicting that the dollar's value will drop so steeply that the end result will be hyperinflation -so all this so called cheap food that many of you continue to crow about will become a thing of the past . cultural diffusion - american culture which is based on empty consumerism, sex, pornography, promiscuity and general vacuousness is all consuming and all present - it contaminates and destroys every thing it touches but above all it does not tolerate difference - anything that departs from the above is ridiculed or and ignored, also america is a society built on legalised racial segregation as a result america is divided along racial lines and people of african descent are relegated to a position of inferiority (although this is no longer practised openly) as a result of this a lot of nigerians born and raised in america will do everything possible to dissociate themselves from anything that reminds them of their culture - that is if they want to fit in with their fellow americans. Therefore loss of language, sense of identity and culture is inevitable for most nigerians born and raised in america. |
thameamead:But isnt he still running the sun and the times? don't both papers still enjoy the highest number of sales out of all the current british newspapers? also isnt he still going to try again for the BskyB bid? |
justwise:I have every right to voice my opinion about a country that has destroyed the economy of my own country, if not for the SAP programmes and other economic reforms which were designed to destroy the nigerian economy and reduce the people of nigeria to mass poverty i would not have had to leave nigeria to live in this racist country. Nigeria is a rich country and if left to run her own affairs without western interference would have been a great nation. These western parasites know this, they do not want any black nation competing with them and this is why they have remained behind the scenes fomenting coup detats all over africa, recommending disastrous economic policies and ruining the image of africa and africans all over the world. Since the british have succeeded in destroying my country and making it unbearable for me to live in they are going to have to get used to more of us moving over here, i am one person and i alone can not change a system which is submerged in pure evil and corruption all sanctioned by the west , if more people were willing to stand up and fight these western stooges then i would consider moving back to nigeria but as it stands the average nigerian seems quite happy to keep living under a system of tyranny therefore my isolated opinion will have virtually no effect on the general opinion of average nigerians. the british and american govt DO hate you, you know why? - they recommended to Buhari that he devalue the naira in 1984 - he refused, they recommended that he BORROW MORE LOANS from the IMF in 1984 which would have kept nigeria in a permanent debt trap - he refused, they recommended that he introduce SAP - which would have meant cutting spending on education, health care and other social services - he refused, when they realised buhari didnt want to sell out his own people and plunge them into a state of perpetual poverty THEY HAD HIM REMOVED AND THEY REPLACED HIM WITH A MORE COMPLIANT PUPPET IE BABANGIDA - is that the behaviour of someone who loves you? If they beleive africans should be more self sufficient and less reliant on external debt why FORCE BUHARI TO INCREASE EXTERNAL BORROWING ?? WHY ?? DOES IT MAKE SENSE TO YOU? Unless of course the motive is to destroy you economically? You think because you are earning pennies in their country that somehow means they are doing you a favour? You are only here as a source of cheap labour and the minute labour becomes surplus blacks are the first to be fired or deported as is the case now. is there really freedom of speech in this country? Louis Farrakhan is banned from entering this country because of his political views -did you know that? various black organisations have suffered police harrassment until they had to close down - did you know that? many black men in this country who are arrested by the police die in police custody with no subsequent investigations into the matter - did you know that? a black man driving is 10 times more likely to be stopped and searched by the police in this country - i wont bother talking about employment - as im sure you know the deal. britain uses the highest number of surveillance cameras to spy on its citizens than any other western nation - did you know that? with regard to the social safety net - i dont know if you've been following the news but since the recession began in 2008 the govt are now using this as a great oportunity to gut the social welfare system - cuts are currently ongoing and by the time the tories have finished with it you wont recognise it. The two tier educational system in this country is designed to prevent certain groups from moving up the social ladder - thats why they have state funded schools that a lot of kids graduate from without knowing how to read and write grammatically - these "schools" are designed to limit the educational aspirations of people from the so called lower classes and keep them poor , semi literate, obedient and ignorant while the upper classes (mainly whites) are educated separately in fee paying "independent" schools (which strangely enough are subsidised by the govt) - in those schoools they are taught that they are better than the people from the "lower classes" and they are groomed for higher positions in society - incidentally this is how Cameron, the milliband brothers, clegg, and virtually the entire conlib cabinet were educated. the UK educational system is a two tier system of education which ensures that the ruling elite remain in control with everyone else accepting their lower status and remaining in it - thats why the UK is described as running a class based society. In fact this is the reason why the british govt introduced the welfare system (NHS, unemployment benefits etc) - they wanted to keep the lower classes obedient and prevent them from rising up to overthrow them - they did this by providing cheap housing, state funded education and healthcare, food and factory jobs for life - a hungry man is an angry man who is capable of doing anything - give the masses what they want and they will let you get away with murder It is going to become even more difficult for people from poorer backgrounds to have access to university education with the increase in university tuition fees. As someone said earlier britain has benefitted tremendously from immigration as they suffered huge labour shortages after the second world war, they opened the doors to immigrants from the carribean, africa in the 50s, 60s and right up to the 70s, the clamp down started in the early 80s in order to limit the flow of immigrants (but only the black and brown immigrants) but now that they do not need black and brown immigrants any longer they have begun their crackdown. with the exception of nigeria all the above countries you mentioned are all either under US/UK military attack or occupation because of the west's desire to access natural resources or because of their strategic location (Somalia lies adjacent to a major shipping route which the US want control over, they also have large untapped oil reserves). why is this so difficult for you to see? |
Justwise my man i just made my point, but it went over your head my friend ![]() why defend people who hate you and your progeny? remember how they came to "own"australia, america, canada, south africa and new zealand, they should be grateful that we are in their country after everything they have done to us dont you think? |
justwise:Come oh, Just dumb or whatever you call yourself, what is your problem? Do you see UK border patrol people looking for white south africans, white zimbabweans, australians and new zealanders who do not have UK residency? I will move back to nigeria when Shell, Exxon Mobil and Chevron clean up the environmental devastation they created in the niger delta area and when IMF and the world bank release their stranglehold on the nigerian economy - keep carrying whitey's sh.it - punk. |
yeah, but with a hefty £3 million settlement. murdoch will just assign her to another segment of his vast empire. Murdoch has the british govt in his pocket so nothing spoil, those bitches are so scared of him they had to modify the kind of questions they asked him during that their so called inquiry, murdoch own these bitches - don't for one second think that he's finished. bitches like Cameron and Brown are on his payroll- they genuflect before him, dont you find it strange how the whistleblower has suddenly "committed suicide" ![]() |

Just like they lied to you in 2003 that Saddam has WMDs and can destroy half the world in 45 minutes
