MandingoII:hell? oh you mean like the places mentioned below ? oh now i understand: AMERICAN HELLHOLES The U.S. economy is dying and we are heading for the next Great Depression. The talking heads in the mainstream media love to spin the economic numbers around and around and they love to make it sound like the economy is improving, but the truth is that it doesn't take a genius to see what is happening to the U.S. economic system. All over the nation many of our greatest cities are being slowly but surely transformed into post-apocalyptic wastelands. All over the mid-Atlantic, all along the Gulf coast, all throughout the "rust belt" and all over the entire state of California cities that once had incredibly vibrant economies are being turned into rotting, post-industrial hellholes. In many U.S. cities, the "real" rate of unemployment is over 30 percent. There are some communities that will start depressing you almost the moment that you drive into them. It is almost as if all of the hope has been sucked right out of those communities. If you live in one of those American hellholes you know what I am talking about. Sadly, it is not just a few cities that are becoming hellholes. This is happening in the east, in the west, in the north and in the south. America is literally being transformed right in front of our eyes. If you still live in an area of the United States that is prosperous, do not mock the cities that you are about to read about. The cold, hard reality of the matter is that economic decline and economic despair are spreading rapidly and they will come to your area soon enough. Right now we are still talking about "American hellholes", but if the long-term economic trends that are destroying this nation are not turned around eventually we will just be talking about one gigantic "American hellhole". In the end, no area of the country will completely escape the economic hell that is coming. Let's take a closer look at what is currently happening in some of the worst areas of the country, Detroit, Michigan In the city of Detroit today, there are over 33,000 abandoned houses, 70 schools are being permanently closed down, the mayor wants to bulldoze one-fourth of the city and you can literally buy a house for one dollar in the worst areas. During the boom days of the 1950s, Detroit was a teeming metropolis of approximately 2 million people, but today the current population is less than half that. The city of Detroit, once a shining example of middle class America, is now a rotting cesspool of economic declineand it actually saw its population decline by 25 percent during the decade that recently ended. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Detroit lost a resident every 22 minutes between the years of 2000 and 2010. So why are people leaving Detroit so rapidly? There simply are no jobs. At the height of the economic downturn, the mayor of Detroit admitted that while the "official" unemployment rate in Detroit was about 27 percent, the "real" unemployment rate in his city was actually somewhere around 50 percent. Since there are not enough jobs, that also means that not enough tax money is coming in. Detroit is essentially insolvent at this point. Detroit officials are trying to implement some austerity measures in a desperate attempt to get city finances under control. For example, the state of Michigan recently granted approval to a plan that would shut down nearly half of the public schools in Detroit. Under the plan, 70 schools will be closed and 72 will continue operating. It has been estimated that the remaining public schools will have class sizes of up to 60 students. Detroit Mayor Dave Bing also wants to cut off 20 percent of the entire city from police and trash services in order to save money. Essentially that would mean abandoning 20 percent of the city of Detroit to the gangs and to the homeless. The mayor of Detroit has also discussed a plan in which authorities would bulldoze one-fourth of the city in order to save money on services. So with all of this going on, is Detroit a pleasant place to live at this point? No way. Today, Detroit is considered to be the third most violent city in the United States. In fact, crime has gotten so bad and the citizens are so frustrated by the lack of police assistance that they have resorted to forming their own organizations to fight back. One group, known as "Detroit 300", was formed after a 90-year-old woman on Detroit's northwest side was brutally ra.ped in August last year. If you want to see what the future of America looks like, just take a few hours and go driving through Detroit some time. But please only do this during the day. Do not do this at night. Detroit is not a safe place anymore, and you cannot count on the police to help you in a timely manner. Detroit was once one of the greatest cities in the world. But today it is an absolute hellhole. pleep:what on earth are you talking about? what is idiotic about a factual event ? i posted a video depicting actual riots in various american cities and you are talking trash- what would you have preferred i post ? something based on fantasy perhaps? i find it really amusing when people like you get all hot under the collar when confronted with unflattering images of america but remain as dumb as doorknobs when bums like mandingo come onto an african forum and continuously insult africans - did the cat get your tongue when mandingo was vomitting his garbage? |
SUV:illiterate - how are you enjoying the frequent power cuts, armed robbers and kidnappers? may this coming fuel subsidy reduce you to an emaciated bag of bones and may you die of hunger in that rat infested hovel that you share with 20 of your illegitimate siblings. |

We are all rappers, drug-dealers, no-good baby fathers, Athletes, Comedians etc. Is that all? What more negative do you have to say about us? Is Obama white? Is Clarence Thomas green? How about Julia Carson, Shirley Anita, St. Hill Chisholm, John Conyers, Paul Cuffe, Benjamin O. Davis, David Dinkins, Joycelyn Elders, William H. Hastie, Richard Gordon HatcherA. Leon Higginbotham, Jr., Benjamin Hooks, Jesse Jackson, Maynard Jackson, Daniel "Chappie" James? Huh, tell me, what r they? Japanese? Pleases, take your condescending 3rd world azz and sit it somewhere warm. You dont care about us, you bastar*Rd! Ure just as bad as the white man you claim to loathe, maybe worse, cus ure an 'enemy within'. YOU HATE YOUR OWN KIND. If we hated you that same way we wouldnt be on this forum hobnobbing with you. We'd have had our noses up in the air just to show we're better. Oh, u dont think we're better? Ok, tell me punk; B4 YOU CAME TO THE WESTERN WORLD DID YOU THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO ENJOY 24HR ELECTRICITY, EVERYDAY, 100 YRS IN A ROW WITHOUT EVEN A 1 SECOND INTERRUPTION?! But u wanna come on-line and spew shiyyt!!! If we had to wait on YOU Africans "straight from the Motherland" (cus thats all u fuc*king got goin for you) we wouldnt be having this convo: THERE'D BE NO INTERNET!!! And, if (in the unlikely and miraculous event) yall even had the brains to come up with the internet, u'd still need to have the brains to make the electricity to power the computer. You always come on here telling us how much better you are than us. Ive always refrained from hitting you with the same negative generalization you hit us with bcus, since this is a predominantly Nigerian forum I did not want to offend anyone cus I know ure "One in a million"----- a mad king ruling over his own kingdom--- in his brain!!!! Thats why each time I fuxxcked your head up I went at u directly instead of all of Nigeria as I shoulda properly done. Remember how I proved that u were a financial and educational non-entity despite you numerous false claims?! Exactly!!! Dude, go sit your aszz down somewhere and worry about your shiyyt hole of a country and stop worrying about my Paradise on earth.
Wow - i need to give you a standing ovation for coming up with that essay all by yourself, what took you so long? were you in the prison library doing the research? Oh so i hurt your feelings by pointing out that you are a degenerate low life did i ?- SUCK IT UP PUNK, A DOG THAT WAS BORN IN A STABLE WILL NEVER BE A THOROUGH BRED HORSE IT WILL REMAIN A DOG FOR LIFE!!! 90% of the names on that your list do not even identify with lowlife punks like you, they look down on people of your background and would never ever lift a finger to do anything remotely beneficial for people like you - in other words they are SELL OUTS - shall i say it again - they are SELL OUTS - they sold you out in order to gain access to money, status and influence - so what good are they to you - aside from sharing the same skin colour - they are black IN NAME ONLY - To show you just how much of a joke you are - you even went as far as mentioning Obama - ah beg i no fit laugh Obama of all people - NAME ME ONE POSITIVE THING THIS MAN HAS DONE FOR BLACKS IN AMERICA SINCE HE ASSUMED OFFICE - JUST ONE THING?? While your brain is going into overdrive let me let you in on a little secret - OBAMA COULDNT GIVE A FLYING Bleep ABOUT YOU OR ANYONE OF YOUR RACE OR SOCIAL BACKGROUND - Are you aware that he has promised the republicans that he is going to cut medicare, medicaid and social security benefits - benefits i might add that the majority of blacks depend on in order to survive in racist AMERIKKKA, not only has this man not created any jobs for your people he's getting ready to cut the ones you have. At every turn all this man has done is show total and utter indifference to every single black person that has been loyal to him, remember the reverend that he distanced himself from when the video came out of him telling the world the truth about america? remember the harvard professor (uncle tom) louis gates - who a white police officer tried to arrest in his own home - did obama speak up to defend him? and this is the man you are bragging about ? If Obama could distance himself from prominent black men who are supposed to be his friends, think what he would do to a complete nobody like you? You see your problem is similar to that other illiterate bum mandingo- you are used to being around africans who you can insult and talk down to and get away with it, you are not used to africans like me who put you in your rightful place - which is the gutter - and THAT is why you are hurt, upset and indignant, in your warped mind you actually think you are justified in coming on to a nigerian forum to try and talk down to africans - but you have now realised that not all africans will tolerate such bull shi.t - DO YOUR WORST PUNK, as long as i am on this forum i will continue to put you in your rightful place - in the dustbin where you belong. Now turning to nigeria being a third world country - is it not a nigerian man from a third world country who brought you up? where is your biological father? where is your mexican/african american father? Why did your mother have to wait for a nigerian man from a third world country to bring up her own children? Had this man not provided a roof over you and your mothers head, fed you and clothed you where would you be today - you talk about money, oh so because you now know how it feels to eat three square meals a day courtesy of your nigerian step dad you want to shine eyes for me and start babling about money you have never had - do i blame you? Instead of remaining eternally grateful to nigeria and its people for being saved from destitution you come here to talk trash - carry on, keep making a fool of yourself. The truth is bitter and i will keep ramming it down your throat - fool |
Cap28, I think MandingoII is a white dude pretending to be black. I just can't fathom how a black person can that mentally ill with those nonsensical rants. If I'm wrong, may God help him.
ADM i hear what you are saying but i honestly dont think a white racist guy would spend so much time on a black forum let alone a nigerian forum - most of those neo nazi types live in their own world and show very limited interest in black people and our culture- this individual is a damaged, mentally ill black man who has had a lot of bad experiences at the hands of nigerians as well as white people, thats why he refers to america as amerikkka, he is really damaged and hurting inside and comes here to off load his hatred for nigerians. He secretly admires and idolises whites, i beleive he tries to socialise with whites but usually ends up feeling out of place - this is why he is so bitter - he has no where to go - he reminds me of an unwanted pet. |
^^^^^^ Tell me something, why do my words hurt you so much? why do you find it so difficult to let go? is it because my words have forced you to confront some bitter truths about the catastrophic failure that is your life? is it because you cant handle what life is going to be like in the next couple of months when you find yourself living in a cardboard box under a bridge? Has a light finally gone on inside your head? have you sudden realised that the american dream which was sold to you was nothing but a giant hoax? You've spent your whole life begging whitey to accept you - you sound like you were probably bullied at school for being too black and now you are filled with so much self hatred, rage and self pity but you dont know what to do with yourself so you come on to an african forum and vent your toxic bile - perhaps you should consider seeing a psychiatrist? Have you thought about doing that, i think it should be number one on your to do list, because sooner or later you are going to have a nervous breakdown, you simply cant carry on like this its just not healthy - get help and get it fast before its too late. |

i dont know why some i.diots on this thread are linking these bomb blasts to buhari and the sultan of sokoto - why do we keep on with this tribalistic bull.shi.t? follow the money trail and you will surely find out that these bomb blasts have nothign to do with the north, but of course that is expecting too much for some bigots on here. |
It all depends on the reason that she gave for taking time off. If she lied and said she needed to take time off to mourn her loss but didnt mention anything about leaving the country then perhaps this is why the boss reacted in this way - he probably thought that she used her child's loss as an excuse to take a 4 week relaxing break in the bahamas. if on the other hand she told her boss that she needed to take time out abroad with her husband to get over her loss and the boss STILL sacked her then he is wrong and she can sue for unfair dismisal -(dont know anything about employment law in the US) but your ability to sue for unfair dismisal here in the UK depends on whether or not you are in permanent employment and lenght of service. |
If i were you i would hold on to my job in nigeria, no matter how bad it is. A degree from southbank won't get you a job in petroleum engineering in this country - in order to get into certain professions in this country you have to have attended a top ranked university - britain is a class based society and its a lot worse now that we are in a depression. As you may have heard jobs are disappearing on a daily basis and the group which has been hardest hit in terms of unemployment are young graduates. My advice to you is use that money that you would have used to pay for your course to start up a small business, it will be of greater benefit to you, you can run it alongside your job, if you are successful you can always leave the job and concentrate on the business - my 2 pence. |
stagger:thanks bro, do you know that Iceland currently owes britain and holland $3billion dollars in debt? The british and dutch govt gave the Icelandic people the option of paying the debt back over a 12 year period and the Icelandic prime minister told the british and dutch govt that he would have to open this up for a debate among his people - this question was put to the people by way of a referendum and an overwhelming 70% of the population said: SORRY, WE ARE NOT PAYING THE $3 BILLION because it will mean a massive drop in our standard of living through higher taxes, cuts in valuable public services, mass layoffs and mass poverty, SORRY BUT YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WRITE THIS OFF AS A BAD DEBT!!! - now compare that to how this hopeless woman took a whole $12billion dollars and handed it over to a group of shylocks who had already made over $58 BILLION DOLLARS from us from the original loan we took from them!!!!! this woman under instructions from her bosses along with that s.tupid US puppet they call Obasanjo took such a staggeringly huge sum of money and handed it over to these theives. It didnt even end there - these i.diots then went ahead to agree to carry out "economic reforms" which would ensure that more of nigeria's assets like our airline and our telecommunication system would be sold off at a pittance to these same theifs. The effect of all these measures? more unemployment, more poverty, more miserty and more desperation amongst nigerians - So tell me why people continue to praise this woman? Look at what is happening in greece - the IMF want to sell off all of that country's state owned assets in order to pay off the debt which was incurred by crooked policitians who colluded with american and european banks to borrow money they could never pay back, look at how the people of that country responded when they found out that their govt was going to make them pay for a debt that they never personally incurred. can you see the difference between foolish and intelligent people? Unlike the dumb nigerians who bow down before this world bank puppet the people of greece are standing up and challenging the IMF and are calling for all their corrupt politicians along with the american and european bankers that were involved in this fraud to be thrown in jail. In nigeria on the other hand dim wits who claim to have gone to school and yet are still devoid of the smallest iota of intelligence are heaping praises on a woman who has reduced them to poverty and who is back to carry on from where she stopped - make all of una carry go!!! |

^^^ okay so you'd rather live in Amerikkka than nigeria - gotcha. but as i have been saying in my earlier posts the little crumbs that you are currently enjoying will soon be taken away from you - that is what the republican party are planning to do along with the powerful oligarchs that run your country - the intention is to completly wipe out the middle class so that all that will be left will be the very rich and the very poor - just like in third world countries - the organisation that will be responsible for enforcing this will be the IMF, they did it to greece, they're gonna do it to portugal, ireland is currently being destroyed economically and so are we here in the UK via massive job cuts, pay freezes and very soon tax increases. these things are all coming to the US so its time for your to wake up from your little dream and smell the coffee. and let me correct your delusional rantings about the civil rights movement being the reason that the US govt decided to grant visas to africans and asians - no that was more to do with america's need for cheap labour to bolster their economy, the same thing happened here in the UK, where the british govt due to massive labour shortages caused by the loss of lives during the second world war, decided to allow a lot immigration from africa and the carribean. The hope that your people are filled with will wither away by the time you find out that there are no more jobs out there and your houses are about to be foreclosed on. This is how its going to go down when you guys realise what your govt is doing to you: [flash=300,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8no3SMt1Ek[/flash] |
Mandingo - whitey is intent on taking back the few crumbs he threw to your people after the civil rights era. He recently promised you guys that you could all become homeowners and sold you fraudulent sub prime mortgages, but many of your people didnt read the small print which said that the interest rates would go through the roof after a couple of months and become too expensive to manage. Now guess whose homes are being foreclosed on in huge numbers? cunning whitey, is determined to take you for every penny he's allowed you to make and leave you destitute - are these some of the US govt policies our govt in nigeria should be emulating? [flash=300,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0pxZA-hDIs[/flash] |
naijababe:have you got the link of the rotimi amaechi interview? You're right Sanusi did tell the IMF to get lost but im now beginning to wonder how long he will be allowed to remain in his post, especially now that Okonjo Iweala is about to take up her appointment. |
Hey Mandingo, i really envy the kind of police protection you guys enjoy in your country - here is one of your homies being "protected" by the LAPD: [flash=300,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXRZMGHqA7E&feature/related[/flash] I really envy your judicial system, can you beleive that a jury made up of 10 whites, 1 hispanic and 1 asian ACQUITTED the police officers who did this - Did you hear one of the white women on the jury saying she was quite happy to acquit the police officers who beat king to a bloody pulp despite the damning video evidence -NOW THATS WHAT I CALL JUSTICE - WOW, we nigerians have a lot to learn from you good honest americans ![]() |
executinal:just listen to the crap thats coming out of your mouth, who told you the writer of that article is a white man, the guy who wrote that article is a nigerian. I can tell you that there are hundreds of intelligent economists in nigeria who are much more capable than this sellout who has done nothing for nigeria. Instead of keeping an open mind to the truth you come on here talking crap about a woman whose economic policies you dont even understand. explain just one good thing that this woman did for the nigerian economy - just one thing. People liek you are only good at following sheepishly, just wait, i think the first blow will be the removal of fuel subsidies followed by currency devaluation - that is when the scales will finally fall from your eyes - bunch of id.iots. |
^^^^ HAHAHAHAHAHAH ILLITERATE, HOW COME YOU CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH? - I thought you were an american citizen? ![]() You are the very definition of a loser because: you hate yourself, your race and your ancestry have no education are full of rage, negativity and frustration because you feel powerless in a white racist country that does not accord you equal treatment with whites. try to make yourself feel better by emptying your bile on an african forum in order to get rid of the regular bashing and racist treatment you get from white americans secretely wish you were white and spend your entire time bowing before white massa desperately wish you could change your race in order to enjoy the benefits of being white in a racist country sleep with trailer trash white women in order to make yourself feel as if you've got one over your white massa - my words of truth bashed your confidence so badly you had to drown your sorrows on a bottle of vodka and get a two bit white trailer trash who.re to give you a bl.ow jo.b !!!! in a toilet!!!!!how sad and pathetic is that !!!!!!! are jealous of educated, successful africans because they remind you of how much of a failure you are Loser lets get one thing straight - america is indeed a wealthy country, but unfortunately for you, you have never been a beneficiary of its success, the so called american dream was not meant for people who look like you and that is why you were denied access to quality education, good jobs, quality housing and social services, you are a member of america's underclass - the working poor - your job is to remain docile, ignorant and subservient and that is exactly what you have been doing for the whole of your miserable life. I have already spelt out in detail what the US govt thinks of you and your type - i have given several examples to back up my claims and i have even asked you to refute those claims if you can, but like the loser that you are you have been unable to do so and have now fallen back on your usual pathetic stance of ranting like a castrated dog. Now, i can see that your limited education has prevented you from responding to any of the questions i asked you earlier on, so i will leave you to continue wallowing in an unending fog of ignorance, self hatred and negativity. |
^^^^ forever taking the coward's way out - GROW SOME BALLS FOR ONCE IN YOUR PATHETIC LIFE, JEEZ!!! |
aganga (goldman sachs puppet) was edged out and replaced by world bank puppet okonjo iweala - one western puppet edged out and replaced with another western puppet - how is that a plus for nigeria? both of them represent the interests of their masters in washington NOT the interests of nigeria or its citizens, so where is the gain for nigeria? what has this woman ever done for nigeria? is it the transfer of our foreign reserves into the hands of our enemies -the western banks - so why then is she back in office? could it be that the real powers who control our economy have stipulated that she come back to finish off our economic destruction? nigerians, since you have refused to use your brains and understand that the western powers are now in the second phase of economic re colonisation of your assets and natural resources you must suffer the consequences of ignorance and st.upidity. good luck to all of you and this awful woman |
The return of the economic hit woman blog | July 6, 2011 - 2:01am | By CIC Old Boy In “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” John Perkins states: “Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. They funnel money from the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign “aid” organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet’s natural resources. Their tools include fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization.” If media reports from Nigeria are to be believed, the return of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala from her position as Managing Director at the World Bank to head the finance ministry is all but a done deal. My less than scientific look at the opinions of the commentariat indicates they welcome her return to the position she held under the Olusegun Obasanjo Administration. This viewpoint is evidence in support of what Yusufu Bala Usman, the late professor of history at Ahmadu Bello University said: “Ignorance is not the same as illiteracy. Knowledge is not the same as literacy, or, even the same as the acquisition of educational certificates, or, academic ranks. Some of the most highly literate Nigerians, and the most highly educated, by virtue of their certificates and ranks, are some of the most ignorant over many crucial areas of natural and human existence and over our national life, like our geography, history, economy and politics.” This ignorance among many literate Nigerians explains why the thought of Okonjo-Iweala heading Nigeria’s finance ministry doesn’t fill that many people with dread. They are clearly unaware of the agenda of Okonjo-Iweala’s paymasters at the World Bank. Carlos Andres Perez, a former president of Venezuela, described World Bank economists as “genocide workers in the pay of economic totalitarianism”. John Pilger wrote in the book “Hidden Agendas”: “The privileges of ‘discovery’ granted to Christopher Columbus in 1942, in a world the Pope ‘considered his property to be disposed according to his will’, have been replaced by other acts of piracy transformed into divine will. The World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other ‘international’ institutions are invested with the privileges of conquest on behalf of the papacy of Washington. The objective is what Clinton calls the ‘integration of countries into the global free market community’, the terms of which, says the New York Times, ‘require the United States to be involved in the plumbing and wiring of nations’ internal affairs more deeply than ever before’. In other words a de facto world government.” Pilger quotes Frederic F Clairmont in the “The Rise and Fall of Economic Liberalism”: “What the US imperial master demanded, and still does was not allies but unctuous client states”. He described how this agenda was implemented through World Bank and IMF loans provided in return for ‘structural adjustment’ of the client states’ economies. “This meant that the economic direction of each country would be planned, monitored and controlled in Washington. Industry would be deregulated and sold off; public services such as health care and education, would be diminished. Subsistence agriculture, which has kept human beings alive for thousands of years, would be converted to the production of foreign exchange-earning cash crops. ‘Tax holidays’ and other ‘incentives’, such as sweated labour, would be offered to foreign ‘investors’. It was the surrender of sovereignty, and without a gunboat in sight.” During her first stint as finance minister, Okonjo-Iweala and her “fans” in the Nigerian media claimed she negotiated for our foreign debts to have been written off. The agreement with the “Paris Club” countries, including the US, the UK, Germany, France, etc involved Nigeria paying $12.4bn in upfront payments in order for the debt arrears of $30bn to be cancelled. Rob Weissman of Multinational Monitor disapproved of the deal: “You can celebrate this deal, as the Paris Club does, if you ignore the fact that creditors generally write down bad debts as a matter of course (not charity), the billions over principal that Nigeria has already sent out of the country, the fact that the deal imposes IMF conditionality on Nigeria (even though the IMF isn’t providing credit to the country), and the reality of the severe poverty in Nigeria.” Patrick Bond in his book “Looting Africa” said Nigeria was “scammed” on the debt deal. “The next step in the scam was for President Obasanjo to agree to a reimposition of neoliberal policies by the IMF, under the rubric of the new Policy Support Instrument (PSI).” He further claimed that: “Indeed, the core message of the PSI document released by the IMF is its desire to retain effective control of African countries’ macroeconomic policies on behalf of ‘donor’ countries (its shareholders)”. Okonjo-Iweala and Obasanjo willingly signed over Nigeria’s sovereignty to “donor countries” along with a sweetener cheque for $12bn and claimed it was all for our own good! Ever since the mid 80s, most African countries have been following the genocidal economic policies of “structural adjustment” that the likes of Okonjo-Iweala and her bosses at the World Bank prescribe. It is usually a four-step programme: 1. Privatisation. Prof Joseph Stiglitz a former chief economist at the World Bank called it “briberisation”. I tend to call it “piratisation”. In Russia state assets were stripped for a pittance by US-backed oligarchs who made out like bandits, national output fell by half and mass starvation returned to the country after a 40-year absence. This experience has been repeated across the world. 2. “Capital market liberalisation” – the theory says this will allow investment from foreign banks and multinationals. They insist laws restricting the movement of capital out of the country or taxes foreign capital are relaxed. Most countries that took the bait saw their reserves vanish in no time. Africa is estimated to lose about $150bn a year in tax avoidance by the multinationals operating in the continent. 3. “Market-based pricing” – this is the raising of prices of domestic fuel, water, electricity, etc which in turn puts food beyond the reach of most. This is the catalyst for driving more folks below the poverty line. 4. The stage is now set for “Poverty Reduction Strategies”. The claim is that “free trade” will eliminate poverty. “Open markets” is the mantra. In reality, Europe and America kick down trade barriers in the Third World, while they build up barriers in their own markets to Third World produce. This World Bank-inspired agenda was packaged by the Obasanjo regime as “reforms”. In reality they deformed the country. Wherever they were implemented in the developing world the results were predictable, with mass poverty spreading. A few weeks ago I saw Okonjo-Iweala parroting the same orthodoxy at a conference on African development. Benjamin Franklin said: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” More of Okonjo-Iweala’s neo-liberal economic orthodoxy cooked up in Washington will further entrench poverty in Nigeria. But there is little hope that Nigerians will learn the bitter truth about the World Bank’s bitter medicine. Sadly, many of us are shackled by what Walter Rodney described as “colonial education”, which is an “education for underdevelopment” in which the “received wisdom” from Europe and America is upheld as gospel in stubborn defiance to reality. This means that the Hit Woman sent by those who contributed towards guaranteeing our underdevelopment, on a mission to destroy any chances we may have of developing, is held up by many as a solution. It’s no wonder that Steve Biko said: “The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed.” dummies, welcome to your new live of enslavement brought to you by Okonjo Iweala and her bosses live and direct at the world bank - enjoy your coming enslavement and poverty , fools!! http://dailytimes.com.ng/blog/return-economic-hit-woman |
DUMB ID.IOTS WHO HAVE REFUSED TO OPEN THEIR EYES AND UNDERSTAND THE MISSION OF THIS TERRIBLE WOMAN WILL SOON WAKE UP WHEN THE AUSTERITY MEASURES THAT SHE IS ABOUT TO BRING WILL START BITING THEM - IGNORANCE AND STUPI.IDITY IS WHAT IS PLAGUING MANY NIGERIANS, did you see the people of Greece rejoicing when IMF took over their economy? but this traitor has agreed to sell the birth right of future generations to come to her bosses over at the world bank and IMF and some fools are rejoicing like the imbeciles that they are - may god punish all of you id.iots and may the coming austerity measures continue to reduce you to slaves in your own fatherland. |
I can't understand why our people are so dumb - what has this woman ever done for nigeria? is asking to be paid a gargantuan salary in dollars doing a service to nigeria? is handing over nigeria's foreign reserves to a group of foreign predators a good service? is failing to defend the economic interests of your own people providing a good service? This is why Buhari rejected this woman as a running mate because he knows she is a traitor, sell out and WORLD BANK PUPPET AND STOOGE - when are our people going to stop allowing western nations dictate our economic policies using sellouts like this woman and learn to stand on our own two feet for god's sake? Nobody respects a fool, nobody respects someone with inferiority complex - and these are the two traits that majority of nigerian leaders and sycophant followers suffer from - STOP ALLOWING THE WORLD BANK AND THE IMF TO COME INTO NIGERIA AND MAKE OFF WITH OUR VALUABLE PUBLIC ASSETS AND NATURAL RESOURCES USING THE COVER OF FDI (foreign direct investment) AND ECONOMIC REFORMS - JEEZ!!!! |
MandingoII:Still trying to punch above your weight are you? Did it occcur to you that at the time this document was drafted (4 july 1776) - SLAVERY WAS STILL LEGAL IN AMERICA? Did it occur to you that one of its main contributors - Thomas Jefferson, was a SLAVE OWNER who r.aped and molested his female african slaves? Here is what an English abolitionist - Thomas Day had to say about this declaration of independence in 1776: "If there be an object truly ridiculous in nature", it is an American patriot, signing resolutions of independency with the one hand, and with the other brandishing a whip over his affrighted slaves." Did it occur to you that the so called "pursuit of happiness" did not apply to anyone of african descent because they were regarded as chattel ie property and were described in your constitution 11 years later as being 3/5 of a human being? Were you aware that at the time that this document was drafted voting was only extended to property owning white males ? were you aware that during this period native indians, people of african descent, women, indentured servants and white males who did not own property were BANNED from voting? did you know that the criteria for owning property at that time was so steep it excluded most of the white male population? At the time that this document was drafted only rich, powerful white men ENJOYED ANY SEMBLANCE OF HAPPINESS because they controlled all the wealth and power of the US and guess what? THEY STILL DO. so your pathetic attempt to try and cast america as a defender of equality, justice and human rights is a tragic failure - Even Abraham Lincoln who many black americans think abolished slavery had this to say about black americans 80 years later: There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races , A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas , . and he went on to say this in a speech on October 16 1854: "If all earthly power were given me," I should not know what to do, as to the existing institution [of slavery]. My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land." After acknowledging that this plan's "sudden execution is impossible," he asked whether freed blacks should be made "politically and socially our equals?" "My own feelings will not admit of this," he said, "and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not , We can not, then, make them equals."5 "Racial separation, must be effected by colonization" of the country's blacks to a foreign land. "The enterprise is a difficult one," he acknowledged, but "where there is a will there is a way," and what colonization needs most is a hearty will. Will springs from the two elements of moral sense and self-interest. Let us be brought to believe it is morally right, and, at the same time, favorable to, or, at least, not against, our interest, to transfer the African to his native clime, and we shall find a way to do it, however great the task may be. then he went on to say in 1857: I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so. He continued: I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is physical difference between the two which, in my judgment, will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position. so you see Mandingo - this pursuit of happiness was never meant for everyone and it most certainly wasnt intended for its black population - it is one thing to draft a document with lofty ideals and beautifully crafted words but putting those words into action are another thing - that is why it took your people another 100 years (1865 to 1968) to gain anything remotely resembling a glimmer of happiness in america. http://www.ihr.org/jhr/v13/v13n5p-4_Morgan.html |
MandingoII:Loser do you see why its soo important to stay in school? Education opens up your mind and enables you to think rationally - two traits that you lack in large doses. So in your warped mind the reason that i criticise the US govts foreign policy is because i was denied a visa (that i dont need) in to your country? Do you see how infantile you are in your ability to reason? The late Martin Luther King famously stated that the US govt is one of the greatest purveyors of violence in the world but i don't expect you to know that because you are a functional illiterate. Now im still waiting for you to tell me why your beloved govt left your people to die in an overcrowded stadium in New Orleans without water, electricity and food following a natural disaster caused by their own negligence. While your at it can you also tell me why your beloved govt decided to WITHDRAW the national guard and police who were supposed to be protecting your people. Also why did your beloved govt only DEPLOY THE ARMY TO the convention centre when they heard that your people had started looting shops in order to get food and water. Finally why did your beloved govt send in ARMED WHITE MILITIAS to shoot on sight any black person found venturing into white neighbourhoods? I look forward to hearing from you. |
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! ^^^^ thanks Jenifa, this imb.ecile is in the early stages of a nervous breakdown, simply because i told him THE TRUTH ABOUT HIMSELF AND HIS COUNTRY - he is still trying to recover from the way i destroyed him here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-704399.99999.html |
the US and the EU says dont negotiate with terrorist, how about if those terrorists are helping you to overthrow a govt you dont like - like the one in libya, last time i checked the US and the EU were using al qaeda to try and overthrow gadaffi, so if they are happy to work with terrorists in one african country why choose to work against them in another one? anyway this is all bullsh.t boko haram is a CIA creation, the truth will unfold one day, this is just another tactic on the part of the US and the EU to destabilise nigeria so that they can eventually intervene on "humanitarian grounds" to "protect" the oil reserves in the south and kick the chinese out of nigeria once and for all. |
MandingoII:hahaha - this weak bit.ch has to post pictures of white people in order to make a point - what a sad MF ![]() why dont you be a man for once in your life and answer my questions - why did your govt leave your people to die in an overcrowded stadium with stinking overflowing toilets, no running water, no electricity and no food. why did they think your people were so insignificant and irrelevant that they could leave you to die and rot in the streets after a natural disaster which was down to their own negligence - why dont you want to answer that question coward? |
lets bring it up to date mandingo - see how your diversity loving govt treated your people during hurricane katrina in 2005: [flash=300,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zXZ-R0mcN0&feature=related[/flash] did you hear how the guy said your govt abandoned your people and left them without sanitation, water and food, did you hear him talking about how dead bodies were left to rot in the convention centre with blankets draped over them? what makes you think that this will not happen again? history has a nasty habit of repeating itself, the US govt doesnt give a damn about your people - dont you get it? therefore the chances of your people being protected during an economic meltdown are equal to zero - am i getting through to you now? Your loving govt is quite happy to spend 100 million dollars a day on a so called "humanitarian" mission in libya but when it comes to saving your people from starvation, destitution and certain death following a natural disaster caused by their own incompetence they prefer to abandon your people to die - so much for diversity and your so called laws. by the way your people are sooo good looking. |
