Look at the L.A Riots, over 2000 people were looting a Big Store in Crenshaw/Compton L.A AND 5 Police arrived in Sqaud cars,no riot gear and told the people to leave and they all started to run away!

POLICE NEVER STOP AND WATCH PEOPLE LOOT, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN UNLESS THEY ARE

What was so funny about these so called Riots is that you could see
30 Riot Police and hardly Any "Paddy-wagons", just squad cars ie

In Hackney their was about 20-30 Riot Police and a couple of Police Vans
and squad cars and Amoured Vehicles AND A OVER 10 MEDIA CAMERA MEN
FILMING about 30 people THROW THINGS AT POLICE (they should not be hard to arrest and identify abi?) (SUSPECT!!)!!![/b] but they did not even charge at the rioters, they just cornered them of and allow them to throw objects at the police vans etc. Later they charged at the rioters and they all ran lol!!

And when they kept on refering to the croydon riots they kept on showing that Burning Furniture building when a young man was killed due to the rioting in croydon at the same time USELESS PEOPLE!!!

In Woolwich, their was about 7 Riot Police and about 15 police officers
in "Hi-vi's" standing at the back about 30 yards back up against 150-200 looters, No Squad Cars or Police Vans.
And a white Guy that constantly was shouting at the Police and urging the
people to charge at them lol!!!

But here's where i get a Bit Suspicous of the events with the following places:

LEWISHAM -

Their is a Huge Police Station in front of the Lewisham Shopping Mall
and when troubled started their on Monday 8th Aug 2011 around 4pm, it had
a perculiar pattern.

People mainly youths started smashing things and getting rowdy for about 30 minutes (According to eye-witnessess that i know) and Bam!!! the police with no riot gear cam out of thier station with Vans & Paddy-Waggons with the intent of Arresting people and All the youth Ran away!!!

CLAPHAM -

Youth were smashing things and looting for over 2-3 hours then the Police (15 of them) Came with Vans and "Paddy Waggons" and about 5 riots gears cops and started to subdue a one or two rioters and throw them into the "Paddy-waggon" and the Rioters who were acting tough like "Bad Men, RUde boys" and girls all ran away and as the Police was throwing youth into the paddy waggon, crowds were gathering and Cheering the police on to arrest more people (Evidence on youtube)

Ealing Broadway -

People were looting and running crazy, and then the police stood again
at the end of the road of the town centre doing nothing
But when the Paddy Waggon came out and they started to charge the rioters
and arrest them, they run away (Evidence on Youtube)

Tottenham -
People who were at the Protest before the riots and before the
torching of the the police car have started to load their videos
on Youtube and the truth of how this thing started is FRIKING AMAZING!!!
The police came out of the Back of the Station in 3 VANS and were in Full Riot
Gear!!! WHAT A BUNCH OF DEVIOUS SET OF MET POLICE! This was not the first time
Demostrations in front of Police stations have happend in London (I have been to one before). But if the Police come out in normal uniform and form a line
and ask people to move back and talk, people will just shout and make some noise, listem to what they have to say and dispersed.

BUT IT WAS NOT THE CASE - They came out in Riot Gear and this is Provocative
to say the least, and made a "stand off" and they pushed down a 15 year old girl that got too close all by herself to their line of defense!!! People started to shout and throw things and THE REST IS NOW HISTORY.

ANOTHER THING I NOTICED FROM WATCHING THE SOURCE OF THE RIOT VIDEOS IN TOTTENHAM -

1 - The orignal crowd was made up of Black and white (ie African-Caribbeans, Whites, Turkish, alot of Othordox Jews, Alot of JEWS!!! hmmm (Check Youtube)

2 - The unoccupied Police car that was Parked near the demostrators in Tottenham was "Suspect", why was it left there? The same thing was done in
Woolwich, Ealing, Clapham and Enfied (I smell a rat - check youtube!!!)

3 - The Police stood and watched people getting angry and did not say anything or use a loud speaker to communicate to them @ Tottehnahm, but stood with an intent to cause bodily harm (Riot ready with Gear)! Total Bullsh**t[/b}

[b]4 - In Eltham where the mostly white crowd gathered to cause trouble (break things & Loot), the Police came out with two Vans and told the people
to quietly disperse on a Loud Speaker! (spoke to them like human beings)

CONCLUSION - IF THE POLICE COME OUT WITH VANS, PADDY WAGGONS AND RIOTS GEAR
AND START GRABBING PEOPLE AND THROWING PEOPLE INTO THE VANS PEOPLE WILL RUN AWAY - PERIOD!!!

(Reuters) - Riots spread to new areas of London on Monday while looting also erupted in the city of Birmingham as Britain's worst unrest in decades escalated in a third night of violence.

Prime Minister David Cameron cut short his holiday to fly home to tackle the violence, which politicians and police have blamed on criminal thugs and which come amid deep economic gloom in Britain.

In Hackney, a multi-ethnic area in east London close to the site of next year's Olympic Games, hooded youths set fire to rubbish bins and pushed them down a street towards police, while hurling bottles and bricks.

Many laughed as they ran back when police charged them. Others shouted into their cellphones telling their friends to join in.

The disturbances started late on Saturday in London's northern Tottenham district when a peaceful protest over the police's shooting of a suspect turned violent.

On Monday, the violence had spread to the south of the city, including the areas of Peckham, Croydon and Lewisham.

Attackers also smashed shops and looted property in the central England city of Birmingham, police said, in the first sign of the riots spreading beyond the capital.

In Hackney, with the street thick with smoke, looters smashed their way into a local shop, stealing whisky and beer. One had even grabbed a packet of cornflakes. Another man ran away laughing while carrying four bottles of whisky.

"I am from South Africa and it reminds me of the riots there, except the police here are not so rough," said one middle-aged local resident, who declined to give his name.

"But the kids don't have any respect for the police or for property. It's sad for the people who live round here."

In Peckam, flames leapt into the air from a torched building, while rubble was strewn across the street. People walked in and out of shops looting.

Cameron's office said he would cut short his holiday in Italy to chair an emergency crisis meeting, amid growing calls from the public for officials to take control of the crisis.

Police had arrested 215 people, according to Home Secretary Theresa May.

"The violence we've seen, the looting we've seen, the thuggery we've seen, this is sheer criminality ,  these people will be brought to justice, they will be made to face the consequences of their actions," she said.

"SENSELESS"

But despite a heavy police presence, they appeared unable to contain the violence as looters coordinated through mobile phones and Twitter to try to keep one step ahead of them.

In Hackney, youths in brown hoods posed for pictures in front of a burning car on a street corner. Others swarmed around a skip full of bricks and gathered them up.

"I don't know why they are doing this," said a middle-aged woman who lived nearby. "It's senseless ,  they are just cacking on their own doorstep."

The BBC said the Hackney clashes broke out after police stopped and searched a man.

Government officials branded rioters as opportunistic criminals and said the violence would not affect preparations for next summer's Olympic Games.

Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Steve Kavanagh said the force was putting more officers on the streets in Hackney and other areas on Monday night.

"Let me make it clear that people who are using current events as an excuse or cover to break the law, steal, attack police officers and cause fear to Londoners will not be tolerated by the vast majority of Londoners and us," he said.

BARRICADES

A small group of people said they had barricaded themselves inside the 110-year-old Hackney Empire theatre to escape the violence.

"We are stuck inside," said one person, who did not give her name, in a telephone conversation with Reuters.

"We don't want to be near the windows. They seem to be targeting shops at the moment. It's very scary."

"We are in the back of the building, staying away from the front. We have barricaded the doors and put chains on the doors."

Youths appeared to have used a free message service on Blackberry mobile phones to coordinate attacks on shops and police.

Research In Motion, the Canadian manufacturer of Blackberry smartphones, said it would work with British authorities, but gave no details on what information, if any, it would give the police.

"We feel for those impacted by this weekend's riots in London. We have engaged with the authorities to assist in any way we can," RIM spokesman Patrick Spence said in a statement.

Some have branded the disturbances as a cry for help from impoverished areas reeling from the government's harsh austerity cuts to tackle a big budget deficit, with youth services and other facilities cut back sharply.

"Tottenham is a deprived area. Unemployment is very, very high ,  they are frustrated," said Uzodinma Wigwe, 49, who was made redundant from his job as a cleaner recently.

Officials said there was no excuse.

"It was needless, opportunistic theft and violence, nothing more, nothing less. It is completely unacceptable," said Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

After we lost the U17 world cup final to Switzerland , the Ghanaian commentator , who should actually remain neutral in comment, said that he was happy Switzerland won because " we all know the unspoken truth about the age of the Nigerians"   You tell me the level of hatred that can prompt such abject lack of professionalism before the entire World !!! Even Samini, one of their top musicians who happens to be very exposed, has had to defend Nigerians publicly. He was on a show and all the other Ghanaians , not wanting to give Nigerians credit as usual , where saying Nigerian music is crap and only popular in Ghana because the DJ's are partial to Nigerians. Samini had to tell them that they should "appreciate rather than hate" . He showed them that DJ's play what folks want to hear and that the popularity of Nigerian music is common across Africa . He gave example of how , whether it is Lome , Nairobi or Johannesburg, 4 out of every 6 dance floor hits will be from Nigerian artists !!! He even told them that some of them should go to Nigeria and "see for themselves" , rather than talk out of ignorance,  how far Nigerians have gone as per music production.

It is actual experience that make some Nigerians talk passionately rather than your assertion that "we take ourselves seriously" . Of course you have nothing to lose because you don't know Ghana and have no interest there so you can come into a debate and, as usual, automatically berate Nigeria. Throughout history, peoples have been overcome by trends and forces that they were unable to recognize. Could the United States be losing its economy to forces economists mistake for benevolent free trade?

Traditionally, free trade has required a country's workforce to compete indirectly against the workforces of other countries in the markets for traded goods and services. Fears in the post-WW II era that U.S. wages and living standards would be undermined by imports made with cheap foreign labor proved to be wrong. U.S. labor was better educated and worked with more and better capital and technology, which made American labor much more productive. Higher productivity protected U.S. wages and employment from cheap foreign labor.

The collapse of world socialism and the rise of globalism have made U.S. capital, technology and business know-how highly mobile. Today, it is as easy – and far less expensive – for a U.S. firm to produce abroad for U.S. markets. Instead of locating its capital and technology in Ohio, California or South Carolina, the company locates its facility in China, for example.

By locating in China, the firm substitutes a workforce that is paid less than a dollar an hour for U.S. labor that costs $26 an hour. By locating in China, the firm also avoids expensive regulations, torts, employment taxes and discrimination lawsuits.

The mobility of capital and technology means that American labor now faces direct competition in global labor markets. This is a new development.

A Chinese person working with U.S. capital and technology is just as productive as an American. The Chinese worker can be hired for much less, because living standards and the cost of living are far lower in China.

The huge labor surplus in countries such as China and India means that wages are not likely to rise very rapidly in those countries. U.S. firms that substitute Chinese and Indian labor for U.S. employees are building in lower labor costs for years to come.

Eventually, as China and India become fully employed first world economies, wages will be bid up and labor will be paid according to its productivity. By then the U.S. might be a third world country.

Existing mortgages, cost of living and accustomed living standards prevent U.S. wages from falling to levels that would be competitive with China's. Americans have to seek work in their next best alternative when they lose their well-paying manufacturing and high-tech knowledge and service jobs to foreigners. By definition, these are less productive jobs paying less.

When jobs move out, skills move with them. At the rate at which the United States is losing software and computer engineering jobs, for example, how much longer will U.S. engineering schools be offering this major?

When manufacturing jobs are lost, so are jobs in trucking, warehousing, banking and insurance. There is a chain effect that reduces the overall productivity of the United States as a location of economic activity.

The loss of high productivity jobs takes away the ladders of upward mobility and wipes out human capital. A displaced U.S. software engineer cannot move to China or India to seek employment in his profession.

Retraining is not an answer, because almost the entire range of knowledge jobs can be outsourced. The Internet permits U.S. employers to hire people in India, China and the Philippines as stock analysts, accountants, researchers, designers, engineers, radiologists – any occupation that doesn't require a hands-on, face-to-face, local presence.

Economists assume that the substitution of foreign labor for U.S. labor is the benevolent workings of free trade. But what is being traded when U.S. employers move jobs out of the country? Many of our imports are products made for American markets by U.S. firms.
The collapse of world socialism changed circumstances overnight. U.S. labor now faces direct competition in global labor markets. The excess supply of labor in these markets will drive down wages, salaries and employment in the United States. As the dollar is likely to lose value under pressure from our growing trade deficit, the decline in wages will not be compensated by a decline in prices, and U.S. living standards will fall.

It is irresponsible for economists to dismiss these concerns by citing empirical evidence from historical correlations. New developments are not reflected in historical data.

U.S. labor no longer has the advantage of education, training, technology and capital over its foreign competition. Existing wage levels, however, assume that Americans still have these advantages. The extraordinary wage differences between the United States and Asia mean that jobs will flow out of America into Asia. These are discouraging times, but once in a blue moon a bit of hope appears. I am pleased to report on the bit of hope delivered in March of 2011 by Michael Spence, a Nobel prize-winning economist, assisted by Sandile Hlatshwayo, a researcher at New York University. The two economists have taken a careful empirical look at jobs offshoring and concluded that it has ruined the income and employment prospects for most Americans.

For a decade I have warned that U.S. corporations, pressed by Wall Street and large retailers such as Wal-Mart, to move offshore their production for U.S. consumer markets, were simultaneously moving offshore U.S. GDP, U.S. tax base, U.S. consumer income, and irreplaceable career opportunities for American citizens.

Among the serious consequences of offshoring are the dismantling of the ladders of upward mobility that made the United States an "opportunity society," an extraordinary worsening of the income distribution, and large trade and federal budget deficits that cannot be closed by normal means. These deficits now threaten the U.S. dollar's role as world reserve currency.

I was not alone in making these warnings. Dr. Herman Daly, a former World Bank economist and professor at the University of Maryland, Dr. Charles McMillion, a Washington, D.C., economic consultant, and Dr. Ralph Gomory, a distinguished mathematician and the world's best trade theorist, understand that it is strictly impossible for an economy to be moved offshore and for the country with the offshored economy to remain prosperous.

Actually its good news for USA manufacturing industry, they will export more now that dollar will be less valued which means cheap good. Importing from China will be less if Yen is valued more than dollar. China shouldn't punch the air yet cos they have to upgrade the value of their currency now
