Sagamite:
I loved that Orji guy.

Very charming and funny. Trying his best to provide for his family and appears to treat his wife with basic respect, obviously loves his kids.

His English is far better than I would have expected. He also has skill in working the camera, he engages it with his witty remarks: "When the $ is down, the price goes down. When the $ is up, the price goes up. The only difference between me and people that work in the stockmarket is the suit and the tie, and the fyyyyne shoes". LWKMD Crazy guy.
Sagamite i never thought id agree with you on anything but you took the words out of my mouth, my heart went out to Orji and his family, i totally respect the guy working so hard in such adverse circumstances, when i compare him to some of the feckless low life in this country who have children and refuse to take responsibility for their own children's welfare i realise that this world is completely upside down, when i look at families like this it saddens me this is why these bastards that  have appropriated the wealth of our country will never know peace in this life - im reading this book written by a former financial times journalist about his experiences in nigeria and theres a chapter that talks about the amount of money that abacha and his family stole - in one account alone abacha salted away £1b - imagine what that sort of money could do for the poor in nigeria, imagine the opportunities that could be created, we need a revolution, these people have to be brought to book.

i had tears in my eyes when orji recounted his upbringing, i just respect the man, the ability to stand strong in the face of so much adversity is admirable.

watching this programme made me feel grateful for what i have.

i agree- i listened to this speech a couple of months back and i was extremely impressed by him, i definitely think that people of his calibre should be running nigeria, he also comes across as a man with vision, i honestly think he would be a huge improvement on these embarrassments that we have at the moment.

Eziachi:
Was it just pure ignorance or that some of you just don’t understand the English language? Where did she say that she regretted marrying her husband in that interview or am I missing something? Why not respond on what you read from the interview, instead of your bias self opinionated readymade rubbish.
She said that she will react exactly how her parents reacted when they knew the age of her suitor as that is normal and conventional reaction of any father in Igbo land in such a scenario. The same way a white couple will react when their daughter brings a black home as future husband, that is normal and the daughter now saying that she will react exactly like her father if in the same situation, but that doesn’t mean that she now hate the fact that she married a black man.
when a woman who has been married for over 10 years starts talking about how she now understands why her father opposed the marriage then you know that all is not well in paradise, of course she cant come out openly and say "i wish i had listened to daddy and not married this b******d", but thats really what she is saying indirectly, if she were happy with him, she would not for one second be thinking about her dad's opposition, but its because her eyes are now open to who she truly married and she is full of regrets.  Notice how she talks about her children but not about him in a positive way.

When you look at the fact that Ojukwu was supposed to be the self appointed leader of the igbos during the civil war, came from a wealthy family, was educated at an elite institution, most fathers would be more than happy to give their daughter to such a man, but in this case Onoh had severe reservations and they were for very good reasons, Ojuwkwu had been married before to a woman he treated terrribly and abandoned,  he was also known as someone who chased after married women, the man's character was and im sure still is the pits, coupled with his delusions of grandeur he didnt strike Onoh as the kind of man that would make his daughter happy.

as for that example you gave about how most fathers would be wary of an older man marrying their daughter, no i dont think so,  most fathers would be wary of a young chancer with nothing to offer,  marrying their daughter, an older established man would be looked on as a better prospect in terms of security and maturity.

i dont know how you can equate the way whites dont like giving their daughters to blacks in marriage with the same way most fathers dont like giving their daughters to older men, the reasons whites behave like that is based on blind prejudice and racism and in no  way equates to a father's genuine concern over who his daughter marries.  Besides white families tend to turn a blind eye to the colour of the person's skin whenever the black person is wealthy,  - notice how Cheryl Cole's racist family didnt mind her marrying £80k a week mixed race Ashley!!

And they shall know the truth, and the truth would set them free

One day she would be brave enough to acknowledge the truth: Ojukwu was a fraud, and she made a mistake.
yup - she's found out the whole thing was a mistake and now with the benefit of hindsight she wishes she'd listened to good old daddy, daddys do tend to know best seeing as theyre older and wiser and have loads more experience tucked under their belt.

ive always known Ojukwu was a fraud - look at his track record, the fact he led  3million people to their death needlessly and had the balls to return to revamp his failed political career shuld give you an insight into the kind of deranged megalomaniac he is, god knows what Bianca has been putting up with all these years.

goodluck jonathan -nothing but a US pawn - he has no real power or authority just does as he's told like a good old house boy, amanpour knows it thats why she was asking him whether he'd done what his masters had instructed him to do and sack Iwu like a good little boy, but of course Jonathan had to act as if he actually makes his own decisions, the truth is he doesnt, the US got rid of Yaradua in order to make way for Jonathan a more pliable puppet, his visit to the US was to formalise everything that was agreed, this is why Jonathan is showing zero interest in the whereabouts of Yaradua, folks tighten your seat belts and get ready for a steep drop in whats left of your standard of living, nigeria is now officially a US colony - if you dont know what that means ask the Haitians - they say the average nigerian lives on less than $2 a day, who says nigerians dont know how to take their punishment with a cheerful smile, the most docile and passive set of individuals ever to walk the face of this planet.

@kobojunkie reading some of your posts makes me wonder whether you are living in the real world or in some virtual world where everything is fine and dandy and all human beings play by the rules and look out for each other, the idea that a govt mouthpiece like the BBC would set out to report news in an unbiased and honest manner with no ulterior motive is ludicrous,  the corporate media are INSTRUMENTS OF GOVERNMENT, they are not here to report the truth they are here to DIVERT YOU AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, they are INSTRUMENTS OF LIES, HALF TRUTHS AND DISTORTIONS, however there is a reason behind it - they want to keep you ignorant, uninformed and revved up about insignifcant crap, the BBCs's role in this Malema brouhaha has been to demonise and caricature him, this is such a tired well worn method that im suprised most people havent seen through it yet, they did it to Mugabe, Saddam Hussein, Chavez, Gadaffi infact anyone who choses not to toe their line is given the demonisation treatment as i call it, all in a bid to divert you away from what you really should be thinking about - the real issue that we should be addressing our minds to is why is it after 16 years in govt have the ANC been unable to honour their promise to black south africans of providing a decent standard of living, why has the status quo remained  to a large extent in place?  Whenever there is an attempt to address this question, the blame is placed squarely on the shoulders of the ANC as if aparthied and the legacy it left behind never happened.  Why is no-one talking about land redistribution, these are all the things the white power structure are determined not to talk about instead they have conveniently (in collaboration with their backers the BBC) decided instead to spend time bombarding us with trivia about a war song which even Mandela still sings.

Sagamite:
Iraq had a dictator that was a threat and loved to antagonise the US.

Iraq had a dictator that would be willing to execute or support a terrorist act if he can.

Iraq had a dictator that had killed volumes of his own people.

Iraq had a dictator that had already started a war in a sensitive region.

Iraq had a dictator that was seeking knowledge of chemical/nuclear war arsenal.

US had a dimwit as President.

All those factors do not apply to Nigeria in any way. If they want to lay a hand on Nigerian oil, there are VOLUMES of easier and less costly alternatives to use.

A war would cost them how many billion dollars? Only one billion dollars in bribery money would secure them all the flow of oil they want in Nigeria, without having any of their soldiers die or facing their home pressures of going to war.
[/s]

saddam was a former CIA stooge who fell out of favour with the US when he decided to invade Kuwait.

America realised that he was in a very powerful position as he now would be in control of one of the largest oil reserves in the world and could manipulate oil supply and more importantly the price of oil as a result of this they decided to drive him out of Kuwait.

After the Kuwait invasion they decided to leave him in power  despite the fact that he was a brutal dictator because he was able to control the various warring groups within the country and america was not in favour of balkanisation of the country.

The one thing that cost Sadam his life was when he decided to start selling oil in euros instead of in dollars.

The US due to their powerful position in the world have stipulated that the dollar is the world international trading currency for the purchase of oil, all countries who wish to buy oil on the international market must do so using dollars, if a country does not have enough dollars it can borrow from the IMF or the world bank (both US owned financial institutions)  but it must pay back with interest - this gives the US huge control over the world oil market and immense power over world oil prices.

this is a lucrative source of income for the US, Sadam's plan to sell oil in dollars would have broken america's hold over world oil prices because a number of other countries were planning on buying oil from him in euros.  By 2000 about 10 countries were willing to buy oil from Saddam using the euro instead of the dolalr this would have triggered an economic meltdown of the US economy, this is the real reason why the US invaded Iraq and had Saddam removed.

Why the bleep are you guys fighting each other? I think that we can all agree that Malema is a crude, boorish, and uneducated buffoon. Who wields powers disproportionate to his ability. I think that we can all agree that the AWB and right wing-nut whites blaming him for the death of terreblance are just politicking in a most unseemingly fashion as keeping with their own equally twisted and idiotic brand of thinking.
You can blow the whole grammar in this world but it still doesnt make you sound intelligent, I see that you are not as scathing in your criticism of the AWB looser despite his outright display of contempt for black people, but like a typical self hating black man you come down heavier on Malema than the white man who treats your kind like garbage.

The funny thing is this little meaningless brouhaha has probably help solidified Malema's hold on power, however puppet-like it might have been before now. Calling Malema out as an idiot doesn't mean that one sympathises with the white scumbags of South Africa, and just because whites are scumbags in South Africa doesn't make all white people scumbags in general.
If not all whites are racists in general why is it that wherever blacks go in the western world they face institutionalised racism AT EVERY LEVEL be it employment, housing, education, health, why is it that blacks EVERYWHERE in theWEST have to fight for EVERYTHING whereas whites seem to sail effortlessly through life?

are you aware that Britain, the US, Israel, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and most of the other EU countries HELPED KEEP   APARTHEID SOUTH AFRICA IN POWER , the british sold arms to the south african aparthied govt in order to crush all those uprisings by black south africans, Israel too sold arms to south africa, IBM a major US computer manufacturer was  instrumental in keeping apartheid going as the apartheid govt relied heavily on computerised data in order to keep track of blacks.

We should be weary of the blusters of idiots like Malema that are talking up a big game without actually accomplishing anything. The ANC has failed the blacks of South Africa in a stunning manner and their little rouse to distract blacks from the ANC's massive failures will only work for so long before it can no longer contained whatever righteous anger that blacks feel.
You say the ANC has failed blacks - yes perhaps you are right because the ANC negotiated with the aparthied govt and agreed to a number of concessions before power was handed over to them by the white aparthied govt, they agreed that in exchange for giving blacks voting rights the ANC would promise not to touch any wealth belonging to the whites ie no land redistribution, no punitive taxation, nothing, whites would hold onto their economic power, blacks would be given nominal voting rights which in the scheme of things would mean nothing.

fast forward 16 years later, whites remain rich and comfortable, apart from a small black elite (like the ones in nigeria) the majority of blacks remain poor despite now being enfranchised.

what i dont understand is why you are now laying the blame solely at the doorstep of the ANC when the whites stated categorically that the handover of power would only be granted subject to them being allowed to hold on to their ill gotten wealth?

The whites won't give up the most fertile lands in SA? fine let them have it. Turn them into virtual slaves and prisoners of those lands by taxing them till the scream uncle. Let them become the helots and turn your black population into the most educated people in South Africa.
you dont understand how the world works do you?  when Mugabe decided to seize land from those white farmers after the british govt failed to honour their obligations under the Lancaster agreement, what happened?  didnt the EU and the US pass the ZDERA in 2001  which caused the collapse of the Zimbabwean economy? You think Zuma can wake up one morning and just start imposing draconian taxes on white landowners without facing massive threats and intimidation from the EU and america?

Follow Rwanda's blueprint and have a cogent and focused plan to educate and propel SA to the forefront in the new global economy. Farming isn't going to generate as much wealth as a massively divested economy with the strong hand of a competent government manipulating the market to the benefit of the people ala china. Idiots like Malema are incapable of grander strategic thinking than those beyond rousing their ignorant base into attacking fellow Africans.
Imagine using Rwanda as an example of a country to emulate, are you aware that  Paul Kagame - the current american backed puppet president triggered the genocide that resulted in the loss of 1million lives in less than 100 days?  Do you also know that he is currently engaged in a war against congo which he is fighting on behalf of his american backers in order to gain control of the mines in eastern congo so that american multinationals can continue their plunder and pillage of the coltan and uranium deposits in that rich country?

are you aware that because of that war more than 6million congolese people have lost their lives? - is this the "blue print" you want south africa to emulate?

the global economy that you refer to is predicated on an economic system which benefits plutocrats and impoverishes working people  - every country where capitalism operates as the economic model CREATES inequality and poverty so this rosy picture that you paint of a "new global economy" is designed to PERPETUATE poverty amongst workers, as a matter of fact south africa IS implementing capitalism CORRECTLY - its multinationals are currently making record profits now that south africa is no longer a pariah state,  capitalism's primary objective is to make profit NOT to elevate the poor, for a capitalist economy to work it NEEDS to have an underclass who will serve as a cheap and easily accessible means of labour.

Kobojunkie:
@Cap28, regardless of one's cause, there is absolutely no justifying the actions of Malema in the very video where he harangue's a journalist for interjecting him. Go anywhere in the world, even at the Whitehouse, you will see that journalists there do the same thing. To suddenly play the BLACK_ON_WHITE card in this case is not only ludicrous but moronic and insecure.
perhaps if your mother had spent all of her life working as a domestic servant for whites in south africa  or your father had spent the whole of his life being worked to death in a gold mine and then succumbed to emphysema or any other lung disease without a penny in compensation from a minining company which makes billions in profit every year, or perhaps if you had ended up  cooking and cleaning for whites yourself for a pittance ,you would be singing the same tune as Malema.

Under the Bantu Education Act passed in 1953,  Bantus (blacks) were given a seperate and inferior education geared towards equipping them only for manual labour and subservience, so tell,  me after going through all of that would your heart be filled with love and forgiveness for whites?

You make me laugh using the white house press conferences as examples, I'll let you in on a little secret all those journalists that attend white house press conferences have to submit their questions to the white house press office for approval first or they will not be let into the press conference, any journalist who tries to deviate from pre approved questioninng is interrupted halfway through and shown the door never to be let back in again.

The idea that journalists in america report uncensored news is laughable, what you watch and read on tv and in newspapers are heavily censored or sanitised versions of the truth.

People like you are a joke,  which one is black on white card? you,  who supposedly lives in the US should know what it means as a black person being on the receiving end of racism, do you think you have access to the same opportunities as white americans, or have you been living on a reservation with no interraction whatsoever with the rest of america?

He is excited by senseless rants coming from an utter, illiterate, unreformed, power-drunk, half-wit slowpoke.

The same slowpoke that demonstrated all these traits when he said he will kill anyone that condemns Zuma.
its funny how all of the above adjectives could be used to describe you apart from power drunk as the only power you exert is the one you have over your computer's on and off switch.  I would advise you to try using the off mode a lot more in order to avoid being humiliated by people like myself.

I think i would place the word "functional" in front of the word illiterate when describing you as i beleive you are merely managing to survive on your limited ability to read and write.

Read cap28 posts, his mind obviously works based on generalistions rather than reformed, structured thinking. Just the sight of any blackman shouting at a whiteman makes his day. It does not matter what the issue is, just the symbolism of that sight is what makes him think it is an achievement of the black race. That is the level and quality of black liberation he can identify with.
"reformed structured thinking" - what does that mean? or is it just a collection of words that you jumbled together after leafing through the pages of the dictionary that you keep in front of your computer?

Any well read and advance thinking human being, be it white, black, latino, oriental, indian etc would know that Malema is a piece of shite that should never have been given a platform to vomit.
utter crass thinking with nothing uplifting or enlightening to offer

ANC would have done far better if they had given him a chauffeur/driver job driving one of their leaders. The guy is a massive illiterate shame.
what is your understanding of the  word illiterate (its okay i'll wait while you consult your dictionary) yes its someone who cannot read and write, but clearly Malema CAN read and write and i would go so far as to say that he can read, write and comprehend english (which is not his mother tongue) better than you, so what is your problem?

Obviously the type of people that appreciate him in SA are mostly from shanty towns. Speaks volumes about how you should group his admirers.
Sagamite this is where i agree with other posters on here who describe you as retarded - are you aware that almost 90% of black south africans live in shanty towns and this is through no fault of their own, have you heard of the Bantu Education Act of 1953?  I didnt think so - well its a piece of legislation which was introduced in order to enforce the separation of races within the educational system - the objective was to create a Jim Crow style of education where blacks were given a separate but inferior standard of education which equipped them for nothing more than manual labour and subservience, guaranteeing them a life of poverty and misery.

this is what the Act entailed:

The policy of Bantu (African) education was aimed to direct black or non-white youth to the unskilled labor market.[3]

The South Africa's National Party viewed education to be a key element in their plan to create a completely segregated society. The Minister of Education at the time, Henrik Verwoerd, stated that:

There is no place for [the Bantu] in the European community above the level of certain forms of labour ,  What is the use of teaching the Bantu child mathematics when it cannot use it in practice? That is quite absurd. Education must train people in accordance with their opportunities in life, according to the sphere in which they live[1]

The government controlled the curriculum of the segregated schools and the books used regularly included sentences such as "This kaffer has stolen a knife, this kaffer is lazy".

The schools reserved for the country's white children were of Western standards and the education was both mandatory and free. 30 % of the black schools did not have electricity, 25 % running water and less than half had plumbing. The education for Blacks, Indians and Coloured was not free. In the 70's the per capita governmental spending on black education was one-tenth of the spending on white.

So Sagamite if you had been unfortunate enough to have been a black man  born between 1953 and 1994 in south africa you too would have ended up living in a south african shanty too and probably described by an ignorant nigerian as illiterate.

how did i end up wasting precious time reading your posts? now that i have seen how intelligent you are, i would advice you to go to South Africa and translate that courage, for one i might not have all the time in the world to type rubbish like you, but i know when a system is wrong and how to fight it, I now understand why "whites"see you as violent and depraved, look at other people who have posted on this topic and see the points they try to raise, Some of them even study in the white man's land and live there for so long, what do such actions say?
its time to take off those rose tinted glasses and learn to live in the real world not the fantasy one you've been trying to escape to, if you know when a system is wrong as you claim - how come you are not condemning the white man's capitalist system of exploitation, racism and genocide that he has built his entire empire on ?- you talk about intelligence, but your lack of critical observation does not demonstrate that you have much intelligence yourself.

how did britain and america become the supposed great nations that they are today? - was it not through the genocide, subjugation and exploitation of the so called lesser races - if the white man's very civilisation is built on violence, genocide and exploitation who are they  to condemn others who resort to similar methods in order to throw off the yoke of oppression?

again all i can say is that you are mentally enslaved, until you remove the chains in your mind you will continue to think like the slave that you are.

that not every one sees a white man as a dog and a threat, Africa is where it is because we have been oppressed by both white and black men, and i don't see a future with wild animals like you who can only shout on the internet but can't do jack in real life, As for our country Nigeria, i know very well that it is people like you who promise change that end up defeating such change,
you have been lulled into a sense of false security, my wish for you is to wake up at the very moment that the  shackles of recolonisation are being slapped around your wrists and ankles.

Anyways to save precious energy for more important posts, both black and white extremists must be curbed because the truth is a bullet could easily pierce through a white man as it would a black man, the onus is on the black majority government to develop ways to reduce economic suffering on the part of the blacks to ease tensions and reduce economic inequality which i doubt can be totally reduced. BTW, I learnt you like the sight of a black man shouting at a white man for whatever reason, I take Sagamite's word to be true cos I'm sure u're so intimidated by everyone both white and blacks you can't state your point without showing how foolish you are.
Only a brainwashed black man would describe black resistance to recolonisation and injustice as "black extremism".

You say the truth is a bullet which can easily pierce through a white man as it would a black man - okay if we are to accept this thoroughly flawed argument - can you answer these questions:

why did it take african americans almost 100 years to be allowed to exercise the right to vote in a country their forefathers built when this right had been guaranteed to them in 1869 under the US constitution?

why is it that a young black woman in america in the 1950's who tried to attend a school which had been ordered by law to enrol blacks was met by a  screaming white lynch mob like the one below:

http://www.abbeville.com/interiors.asp?ISBN=0789201232&CaptionNumber=03

why is it that former US president Eisenhower had to call out FEDERAL TROOPS to force the integration of nine black students into a white school after the governor of that state used the NATIONAL GUARD to prevent the black students from attending the school?

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=14654126

I agree with your suggestion that the black govt needs to do something about the massive inequality between whites and blacks in south africa, however you must remember that  this was a problem which they inherited from their racist predecessors which may take years to redress, blacks were given the right to vote on the condition that the economic power structure remained in the hands of the whites, therefore whites will not take too kindly to any efforts at wealth redistribution or land reform, look at how Zimbabwe was punished because Mugabe attempted land reform and  wealth redistribution.

In addition total poverty eradication is virtually impossible in  a capitalist system as its whole reason for being is based on making profit, historically cheap black labour is what has been used to keep this system going therefore there is no incentive on the part of the capitalist and in particular the white capitalist to dismantle a system which makes him rich.

Omolulu:
My friend this is part of the problem, must you insult and abuse before you make a point? i think you are rather been blinded by the fact that a white man is involved that is why you are ranting like one who has just been castrated, you should look at other apartheid fighters like Mandela and Mbeki and compare the way they dealt with issues with your fellow illiterate Malema, if you had watched the video carefully you would have seen there was nothing warranting any insult and if he was displeased with the question he had the right to refuse to respond that particular journalist, this is the problem of Malema and other short sighted people like you who claim to be oppressed and turn out worse than their oppressors.
I can tell that you are one of those arse licking uncle toms who just love to bend over backwards to please your white masters, in your deluded mindset you actually think whites look at you as if you are a human being, ive got news for you bro, they see you as violent, depraved, less intelligent and above all INFERIOR to them, in order for you to get past any of the above perceptions you have to have  ten times the positive attributes any member of their own race has, that is how far gone their racist perception of blacks are  -now back to what we were  discussing, Mandela and Mbeki are men of a different generation, they were radical and militant in their own time  and Mandela paid the price by spending 27 years in prison while Mbeki spent 28 years in exile, it was only after years of being in prison ,with the attendant mellowing which comes from serving so much time locked up, that an attempt was made by the white aparthied govt to agree to some sort of negotiation with the ANC, Mandela's  release was granted subject to certain conditions - paramount amongst these conditions was the stipulation that economic control would remain in white hands, are you following?  So your supposedly peace loving, fair minded white master whose alter you worship before,  in characteristic fashion knew exactly what he was doing when he agreed to the superficial dismantling of apartheid, the problem with people like you is that you are on mental auto pilot - shall i explain?  okay, years of brainwashing courtesy of religion  (used to keep you mellow, s.t.u.p.i.d and compliant) has led to you being unable to think for yourself, you automatically beleive that you are inferior to whites and therefore you acccept that their perception or view of things, even their view of you, has to be right, this is why you condemn Malema but speak about the other white guy who was physically aggressive towards a black woman in measured respectful tones, .  That scum bag threw his microphone on the floor in anger because the black woman was getting the better of him in a debate, something he beleives no black person has the right to do, and certainly not in full view of millions of people, he was so out of control with his rage that he actually came back to intimidate and even ASSAULT the black woman because in his mind no black person and certainly no black woman has the right to challenge a white man, these are all the things your brainwashed mind didnt process.

Your behaviour is what enables whites to continue to abuse and degrade blacks whilst simultaneously making you feel grateful for the abuse - ingenious on their part, but not all of us want to be dragged down to your pathetic level.

Well Id rather be sensibly courageous and respected for it than to be stupidly brave without achieving the desired result, so far the only thing achieved was that he shouted at a white man, he should probably be given a trophy for that abi? dunce.  You should look at the second video and see the way the woman presented her issues to the extent that the white man as force to throw in his microphone and go off air, that is what you should admire and emulate and not some black man who wants to be worse than his oppressor, besides he has only proven that he is more of a coward than other black men fighting for the same cause with his response
"Sensibly courageous and respected" - are nigerians respected by whites for being "sensibly courageous"? - you are a joke - as we speak our own country is being sold to the highest bidder right from under our feet and you talk about being sensibly courageous.  At least the south africans had the sense to overturn the main source of their oppression, where has being sensibly courageous got the average nigerian ?- let me guess - still living in bondage where the average nigerian lives in appalling poverty while US and British installed puppets syphon billions out of the country.

The truth is this your sensibly courageous philosophy has not gotten you anywhere so maybe now is the time to take a leaf out of your fellow african brother Malema's book and grow some balls for the first time in your life instead of mouthing this your coward's philosophy of being sensibly courageous.

You talk about Malema being illiterate but doesnt illiteracy mean you cant read or write? or is it because he speaks english with a strong south african accent? apart from being brainwashed and trained to kill their own people in foreign owned military establishments like Sandhurst i dont remember people like - Gowon, Abacha, Babangida and Obasanjo being paragons of knowledge and erudite thinking, with the exception of Yaradua, nigeria has never had a head of state educated beyond secondary level,  so pray tell, who are you to call anyone illiterate?

People like you are the problem with our race, people who are afraid to stand up and be counted, but are quick to shout down and demonise others who show the kind of courage that they would never show even if their wife and children were being assaulted right in front of them, people like you are an embarrassment to our race and the less we have of your type around the easier it will be for us to progress, i think that if any progressive black movement emerges in the future it will need to embark on a massive purging exercise just like what happened in china because there are too many deadweights like yourself holding us back from acheiving true greatness.
Politics › Re: Greatest Nigerian War General Of All Time by cap28: 1:52am On Apr 10, 2010
but nigeria has never had to defend itself from foreign invaders, neither has it tried to invade other countries in order to expand its territory, so how can it boast of having "great" war generals as it would only be in the above circumstances that you could measure greatness. the only engagements the nigerian army has been involved in are the genocide of the igbos and the subsequent repression of the niger delta indigenes (oh yes and its role as house boy sorry peacekeeper for the west in other parts of Africa) so no nigerian military man has been in a situation where he has had to truly test his military abilities.

Can nigerian soldiers square up to the americans, the british, the cubans, the vietnamese, the chinese?

ikenagawo you are not making sense, okay if this is indeed the case what has rivers state got to show for the billions that it generates - exactly  - jackshit, when you are bragging about what a state or country makes dont you think you should look at the level of development in the country before you start spouting off figures,  its actually embarrassing to think that rivers state generates that level of revenue and still looks like a shithole.
This Malema dude is pretty much an illiterate that enjoys being in the spotlight
I suggest the media stop covering the buffoon

As for South Africa, they know what they need to do,
Sideline the extremists both right and left wing

They should stop giving airtime to ppl like this or the right wing white supremacists.
The country will survive, unless they are silly enough to elect someone like Malema in the future
then all bets are off. . .
no , you are the illiterate because only an illiterate will see something immoral like aparthied and attack someone who speaks out against it , what has Malema done that is wrong other than condemn one of the most heinous systems known to man , with all the years of brainwashing and mindcontrol that you have been subjected to by your white slave master where has it got you? are you not still suffering and smiling (as fela put it so succintly) i bet you werent half as incensed by Versaghie's  attempted assault of a black woman but you are ready to lynch Malema because he is a black man like you therefore not worthy of respect.

are you so dumb that you dont understand that the western media are deliberately giving Malema extended media coverage in order to demonise him, they do it to all their enemies, as a black man you should know what it feels like to be demonised or are you deluding yourself into thinking that you have the same rights and privileges as a white man?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Julius Malema Called A Bbc Reporter A "Bastar..." by cap28: 1:12am On Apr 10, 2010
i cant beleive the kind of criticism fellow blacks are levelling against Julius Malema - a proud black man who has no fear of whites and stands up for what he beleives in, some of the comments on here are despicable, people are calling him an illiterate, since when did english become an african man's mother tongue, how many white men speak african languages as fluently as africans speak english, this is a man who is doing something the vast majority of nigerian men will never and can never do - standing up to these f***kg racists and there are blacks on here criticising him for that. these fools are the same people who would be treated worse than dogs by the likes of that nasty cracker assed Versaghie who was so incensed that a black woman would dare challenge him in a conversation he almost physically assaulted her.

We as nigerians should look at Malema and be proud that he is a black african man with courage, now i see why black south africans hate nigerians, its because we are a bunch of miserable cowards, if nigeria was hijacked by a racist aparthied system i bet by now it would still be in place because nobody would have the balls to fight and run these crackers out of town the way the black south africans did.

Haha what am i saying nigeria HAS been hijacked by racist govts - america and britain and they are still running the show while more than 80% of the nigerian population live below the poverty line!!!!!

for those arse holes calling Malema an illiterate i say this to you no white man looks at an african man and sees you as his equal no matter how "educated" you think you are, to a white man you will always be an inferior human being, therefore as a people we should be giving the likes of Malema support not knocking him, he was right to run that fake arsed cracker out of his press conference because the cracker was only there to do his usual crap of spreading lies, distortions and misinformation.
Politics › Re: Jonathan To Meet Obama On Sunday by cap28: 9:53pm On Apr 09, 2010
Are you guys delusional or what - let me explain a few things to you that you still havent been able to work out - JONATHAN IS A US PUPPET in the same way OBASANJO IS A US PUPPET - who do you think is behind Yaradua's disappearance ?  Come on guys its not that difficult to work out.

Okay let me explain - Yaradua was removed because of a number of reasons - no 1 being his trade agreements with China - the US saw China's trade with various African countries as a threat to their superpower position, China is the US's greatest rival for global power - the US are trying to limit China's growth and they are resorting to every trick in the book, including sabotaging all efforts on the part of China to obtain valuable natural resources like oil in order to continue their relentless economic growth, a covert battle is currently being fought on the African continent between these two giants over Africa's valuable natural resources and America is determined to win that battle hence the decision to locate AFRICOM all over Africa in order to repel the Chinese takeover.

Back to Jonathan - he is a US STOOGE - he has no power, no autonomy, nothing he has been installed, bought and paid off by the US, he is going to the US to "negotiate" AFRICOM's imminent arrival on nigerian soil  -(I say negotiate but in reality he is merely going to take instructions)

Other topics for disccusion with Obama, no doubt will include the ongoing mass privatisation of the entire public sector of nigeria's industry, Jonathan has nothing good to offer nigerians unless you want to call living in bondage something positive, because thats what jonathan and his american cronies are offering nigerians.  Dont take my word for it, wait and see what will happen when Jonathan gets back from his trip, as we speak the entire nigerian public sector is being sold off to american and european businesses - they are rubbing their hands in glee, thinking about the enormous profits they are going to make, what does this mean for the average nigerian? - A LIFE OF BONDAGE.  The american and european multinationals will turn nigeria into another Haiti where people "lucky" enough to get jobs after the entire economy has been restructured will end up working for 10 cents an hour - the  europeans and americans will be laughing all the way to the bank courtesy of their friend Jonathan.

And by the way , dont worry about Jonathan being toppled, Mossad has got nigeria on lock down, they will make sure they keep him in power until he outlives his usefulness just like Abacha.

So people, now is the time to wake up and open your eyes, your country is being sold to the europeans and americans right from under your feet so now is the time to stop fantasising about "Saint" Jonathan
