He's tired of you and doesn't find you attractive or interesting anymore, have some dignity and self respect and move on with your life.

What is the point of staying married to someone who doesn't love you - life is too short - move on.

Sex is fantastic with the right person, but shouldn't be the be all and end all, sex does not equate to love.

Focus on developing your potential as a human being rather than on being a sex object for men to use and abuse at will.

Also Nigeria is not the right country for women to be blasting away about how good they are at sex as they will merely be labelled as "runs girls".

In the west women can make a lot of money from being sex objects especially if their "clients" are rich men, in Nigeria you get labelled as a "runs girl" and at worse end up HIV positive - a word is enough for the wise. undecided

ROSSIKE:
It is tragic isn't it? These slaves equate beauty with light skin. If their heads were not brainwashed, they'd easily see this girl as just a plain girl. Which is what she really is. But her light skin suddenly makes her 'gorgeous' and 'stunningly beautiful' to our resident conditioned cotton picking plantation slaves taught to hate themselves and love their white slavemaster.

Beyond tragic.

What makes this trend so pathetic is that these are Africans living on their own continent away from the damaging influence of white supremacy. It just goes to show you just how powerful the white controlled media is if it can convince Africans living on their own continent that light skin looks better than brown skin. Do white people think that mixed race people look better than pure white blonde haired blue eyed women?

Our self hate has reached epidemic levels and if it is not dealt with soon a time will come when a dark skinned home grown African woman will find it difficult to find a home grown African man who finds her attractive.
In the US many dark skinned black American women have this problem. In Europe its even worse for black women as the black men there totally reject black women and favour light skinned and white women over and above black women (with the exception of home grown African men).

If monalisa chinda were to live in Europe or North America majority of white people would never find her attractive, unless of course she has European facial features like Halle Berry, Beyonce, Vanessa Williams and a host of other mixed race women who masquerade as black women.

The white man is very cunning he uses mixed race people to represent the black race - this in turn causes the masses of black people to develop low self esteem and inferiority complex, and that is why bleaching, plastic surgery and the use of hair extensions is a multi billion dollar industry in Europe and the US.

Notice how black women who look like Lauren Hill, India Arie and Kelly Rowland are gradually air brushed out of the entertainment industry - it is no coincidence, the whites who control the entertainment industry will never project beautiful images of brown skin because they know it will promote and encourage self love , they want you to hate yourself and yearn to look like them hence the success of people like Beyoncé, Niki Minaj, Halle Berry, the list goes on.

The only people who find women like Monalisa Chinda attractive are - brainwashed self hating Africans who equate light skin with beauty, - Monalisa Chinda is not beautiful in any realm, put her up alongside the likes of Oluchi Onweagba, Chimamanda Adichie and Agbari Darego and theres no comparison. I look at facial features when analysing facial beauty not skin tone.

From time to time our enemy taunts us and then pretends as if it was a harmless mistake, do not be deceived this is what is known as psychlogical abuse , it is designed to make you remember your place in a world run and controlled by white supremacists. The more someone taunts you the more the chance he might break your will. Many black people actually believe that whites are superior to us and some on this forum are defending the racists who programmed an app to associate a wild animal with black people. My question to the guy who claims to know about artificial intelligence, who created the data that associates black people's faces with gorillas?

[b]

In 1995, Peter Davies was on holiday in Nigeria after graduating from Louisiana State University .

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully. He got down on one knee, inspected the elephants foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot.

The elephant turned to face the man and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the University of Ibadan Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1995, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn't the same _fucking elephant.

I don't respect anyone on that list as they all made their money directly or indirectly through corrupt means and not through hard work. Its a shame that Nigeria has so many super rich people and yet the majority of the populace live in abject poverty. When you look at the people on that list it sends out a clear message which is without connections to the crooks in power you can never be wealthy in Nigeria.

[b]Racism in India against Black people

Indian Society is obsessed with white skin and it could be because of colonisation from British Empire that Indians want to look like their former master. If we look in Indian society the darker colour of skin the person is then more likely the person to be treated as a lower class in Indian society that it's colonial mentally that Britain left for Indians to discriminate among themselves.

However, today India is considered one of future economic power in world and it has high advance education institutions included IT institutions that it's attracting lot of African students to study computer Science in India and also it's attracting African immigrants to buy cheap goods to send back to Africa. It means Africans are contributing for development of Indian economy too.

Then why some Indians are treating blacks or Africans inferior in contrast to them just because of their colour of skin? Let follow some stories about Black people in India.

African married an Indian.

Nigerian Sambo Davis is married to an Indian woman and lives in Mumbai. All his documents are valid, but he was arrested by the police recently on suspicion of being a drug dealer. He and 30 other black Africans were detained for hours before they were let off with an apology. But the following day, Mr Davis said that he was shocked to read in local newspapers that they were "arrested for drug peddling".

"The police treat us Africans like dogs," Davis says.

Mr Davis claims he often faces discrimination when he goes to restaurants or when he tries to rent an apartment in gated middle class communities. But he is nevertheless one of the lucky ones. He found a decent flat to rent, thanks to his Indian wife.

But his fellow countrymen, he says, still face discrimination: "When they go to rent flats in a normal building they are told - 'you are a black man, you are Nigerian, and you are not wanted'. This is racism."
Against such a background of obvious prejudice, Sheeba Rani married Sambo Davis four years ago and the couple have two children.

Mrs Davis says her parents are tolerant Christians and they blessed them because they thought the marriage was God's wish. But, she says, she has been excluded by many friends, relatives and society since her marriage.

Mrs Davis is "embarrassed and ashamed" by the behaviour of the Indian people towards black Africans. "When I used to go to a mall or if I walked with him, I always wanted him to hold my hand. But when people saw me with him, they thought I was from a bad family or even a prostitute." Earlier, she did not understand why black people were being looked down upon, but now she says she does. "Because our society is obsessed with white skin. If I had married a white man, I would have gained more friends and society's approval too."

Mr Davis believes that the discrimination is solely "because I am a black man". "It's because I am from Africa, I am a Nigerian. I think Indians see us as inferior."

We look after Indians in our countries. They have become rich there. All we want here is for Indians to understand we are not drug dealers. We are not violent. We are just like them."

African students in Indian

Twenty-three-year-old Richie Ronsard left his home in the Congo two years ago to fulfil his childhood dream of obtaining a degree from an established institute in the India. The reality check was not long in coming.

"I arrived in this city with a lot of expectations. India has a very positive reputation in my country. I was sure that this was going to change my life, but instead I soon learnt that the image of the country outside far surpassed the reality I faced once I was here," Ronsard adding he has been treated like a third class citizen from day one. "Wherever I go out in public I feel out of place. People stare at me all the time. They call me names like 'kalu' and laugh at me. One day in the metro a small child came running to me and started shouting that word at me and pulling my shirt. His mother stood there looking at him without stopping him.
Richie Ronsard
Richard Ronsard congolese
student in New Dehli

I couldn't say or do anything because it was just a child, but inside I felt embarrassed and even angry. Is this how your children are being educated," asked Ronsard, who has political ambitions and is working toward a masters in PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economy).

The stereotyping of Africans, especially Nigerians, in India as drug dealers has in some part affected how most Africans are treated in the national capital and elsewhere. This puts them under the scanner of the police and often intrudes upon their rights and privacy.

"At least twice a week during the first year I was being visited by the local cops in what they referred to as a general check. I wonder if that is also what happens to non-Africans here," Ronsard stated.

However, despite the growing interest by foreigners in Indian educational institutes, especially universities, little has been done to ensure their wellbeing by either the state or the educational representatives. It is not just Ronsard, but many other African students in the capital share his story. Fredrick Kaitale is a 20-year-old from Uganda studying for his Bachelors in Business Management in. For him, who has met and dealt with the large Indian community in his country, being seen as different in India came as a big shock.

"I am proud to be black, so I don't mind being called "Kalu", but it does feel weird when I am stared at continuously. Every day I meet other Africans who have been victims of racism ill-treated not just by the people on the street but also by the authorities, who turn a blind eye to what is happening in front of them," Kaitale said.

Additionally, getting decent living accommodation is a major task for African students who come to India. Many of them are turned away at the doorstep by potential landlords as soon as they see that the students are black. Valid reasons are not given, but it is evident from the manner that they are turned away.

Omongin Emmanuel spent a number of months trying to find a flat to rent in a decent neighbourhood, but kept getting turned away.
"The brokers kept getting back to me saying that the landlords did not want to rent out to Africans. Apparently, most of them believe that we indulge in illegal activities. They would come up with excuses like government regulations, said the 25-year-old Ugandan who is studying for a Masters in Public Relations and Event Management.
"My father is a diplomat and even with his help, it took me very long to get a place to stay. Despite my connections, it took me so long, so what happens to the normal, unconnected African who is looking for a roof over his head," Emmanuel wondered.

For many, the problems do not end even after getting a place to stay. "My neighbour has done everything from calling the police to complain about made up noises he was hearing to cutting my water supply. It is a constant battle to be normal here." says Ronsard.

"The government really needs to work actively towards improving relations between India and Africa.
This can be done by putting laws against racism in place. People should be scared of the legal repercussions of racist remarks and bullying. Also, the media needs to have more programs that focus on black Africa so that we don't seem so alien when we get here," Emmanuel Onaputa, a second year BBA student from the Congo, suggested.

Black American in India

Dr. Diepiriye Kuku-Siemons did his PhD in Dehli School of Economic. he wrote an article to Colombo telegraph about his experience of racism in India that it was titled 'India Is Racist, And Happy About It'

Once I stood gazing at the giraffes at the Lucknow Zoo only to turn and see 50-odd families gawking at me rather than the exhibit. Parents abruptly withdrew infants that inquisitively wandered towards me. I felt like an exotic African creature-cum-spectacle, stirring fear and awe. Even my attempts to beguile the public through simple greetings or smiles are often not reciprocated. Instead, the look of wonder swells as if this were all part of the act and we were all playing our parts.
Dr. Diepiriye Kuku-Siemons
Dr. Diepiriye Kuku-Siemons

Discrimination in Delhi surpasses the denial of courtesy. I have been denied visas, apartments, entrance to discos, attentiveness, kindness and the benefit of doubt. Further, the lack of neighbourliness exceeds what locals describe as normal for a capital already known for its coldness. My partner is white and I am black, facts of which the Indian public reminds us daily. Bank associates have denied me a chair, while falling over to please my white friend. Mall shop attendants have denied me attentiveness, while mobbing my partner. Who knows what else is more quietly denied?

"An African has come," a guard announced over the intercom as I showed up. Whites are afforded the luxury of their own names, but this careful attention to my presence was not new. ATM guards stand and salute my white friend, while one guard actually asked me why I had come to the bank machine as if I might have said that I was taking over his shift.

This is a question! How so many people can be hateful towards Black people without so much care about the conscience? Is it takes a lot of effort to be hateful towards people than it is much easier to show love toward others human being without looking in their colour of Skin.

When it comes to fair treatment, let's just be honest, Blacks or Africans are the most discriminated against demographic in the world, for that matter. For whatever reason, nobody has a problem discriminating against Black people.

Nigerian artistes learn self respect, Shabba Ranks has self respect that is why he said this when asked why he didn't agree to perform on stage for about 5 seconds with 5 other Jamaican artistes:

Interviewer: Recently there was this BET tribute, I heard that you were called?

Shabba Ranks: Yes, BET called me, they wanted me to be on their award show but I had prior engagements, but I asked them what is the criteria for me to be there and they're telling me that me and 5 persons have to be onstage. And I said to myself Shabba Ranks who get 2 grammys for dance hall music in America. It no take me and 5 other Jamaicans to present dance hall music in one format.

If Mariah Carey can get her own stage I should also get my own stage.

They never gave me the opportunity to walk their red carpet for years they just wanted to push me in a little corner and take me out when they feel like.

I am not for that. I am here to stand up so that dancehall is rated and respected as everyone's music is respected. It doesn't take 5 or 6 of us to show dancehall in one forum. Shabba Ranks alone could do it, Chaka Demus alone could do it. So when they wanted to get me in a crab in a barrel system I said: listen to me if you wont let me come alone or on the red carpet, then me nice. If you wont let me come out alone on stage, then me nice.

I want them to understand that I represent dance hall music which gave me life from the scum of Jamaica to make me the man that I am. I am ready to represent it with full force so long as they must recognise and respect that my music collect grammy, my music buy good clothes, my music is coming from a place that as much as them try fe hold we down we are good people. Cos they are not intellectuals like Marcus Garvey and none of them are fast like Usain Bolt and I know none of them are great like Shabba Ranks and none of them are bad boys like Bob Marley was. So we as Jamaicans haf fe stand up for our things in a strong way.

This business of BET giving African artistes awards backstage did not start today and it is a clear indication of how little they regard Africans and our music.

I remember a while ago they tried to get Shabba Ranks (an international dance hall Jamaican artiste and grammy award recipient) to perform onstage along with about 5 other Jamaican acts for a total of about 5 minutes- he refused point black - he explains why here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs1MI-JCbzI

People will only treat you the way you allow them to treat you. African artistes are supposed to have boycotted BET a long time ago because the people who run it do not respect African people or our music.

I respect Shabba ranks for refusing to be treated like a coon by BET, Nigerian artistes on the other hand have zero self respect, is it just now that Whiz kid has realised that they don't present awards to African artisites in front of a live BET audience, the very first time they gave him the award in an empty theatre he should have handed it straight back to them and told them where to shove it.

BET is run by African Americans but owned by whites, most of the executive decisions are made by whites but African americans still have a say in certain decisions therefore they can step in and put a stop to this if they felt it was necessary, but they wont. The bitter truth is that the average African American has no respect or admiration for Africans, some of them recognise Africa as the motherland but in most cases its just lip service, deep down inside they don't want to be affiliated with anything to do with Africa.

I respect African Americans for their immense talent, creativity and ingenuity when it comes to entertainment but I think that many of them have nothing but contempt for Africans.

These sort of things should serve as a wake up call for Nigerians - STOP COPYING AFRICAN AMERICANS AND DO YOUR OWN THING!!!!!!!!!
LET PEOPLE COPY YOU AND TRY TO SPEAK WITH YOUR ACCENT NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!!!!!!!!
The so called whiz kid is nothing but a second rate version of an African American rapper - same way of speaking, same "swag", same tattoos, he even copies the average African American rapper's lifestyle by having a baby mama smdh!!!

Why would the average African American artiste buy a watered down version of their own artistes when they have the real deal?
The other day I was listening to Ice Prince being interviewed on an American radio show called the breakfast club and one of the first questions charlamagne asked him was "why do you think American music is embraced in Nigeria so much but Nigerian music isn't embraced here by black americans!!!!!

Listening to the interview you start to wonder why this so called Naija guy is speaking with an American accent when he was born and bred in Nigeria. Do Jamaican artistes born and bred in Jamaica speak with American or british accents?

Tomorrow Amber Rose, Rick Ross, Rhianna and co will come to Nigeria and you will roll out the red carpet for them but when you go to their country they wont even recognise you or your music - shame!

We need to get our act together, learn self respect, learn to love ourselves - then and only then will people respect us.

You see why I keep saying that most Nigerian marriages are a scam? First of all, I thought pathetic Nigerians say that being married means that the person is responsible? Can you call this OP (mysweetnina) a responsible man? Why do many Nigerians even waste their time taking marital vows when most of you are going to break those vows down the line anyway? Many of you married folks are just a bunch of losers nursing that sexually transmitted disease your cheating spouses passed on to you.

Listen here, some of you ought to stay single if you know you cannot stay in a monogamous relationship faithfully. Many married Nigerians make marriage look like a joke because many of you don't take the marriage institution seriously. Later on, many of you will have the nerve, the audacity, to ask single people why they are single when you the married one continue to mess up.

OP,

You better free your wife if your heart and soul is no longer in your marriage and take good care of your offspring. Make sure you don't marry again because marriage is not for people like you who disrespect the sanctity of marriage.

The reason for this is because there are no penalties for a Nigerian man when he cheats on his wife:

will your wife leave you taking half of your wealth and your kids - no
will you be denied access to your kids if you cheat - no
will you be forced to work two jobs to keep up with child support payments - no

so why wouldn't cheating be part of life to the average Nigerian man.

Many marry not for love but to find someone who will cook, clean and have children for them with no consequences.

You can beat her up or walk out on her and she will still come back on her knees begging to be forgiven - A
paradise for misogynists! undecided

my advice to that sad woman who tweeted that crap - go for counselling asap, love is not about abuse or pain, if your man loves you, he will fight tooth and nail to protect you.

Also women who don't have good father figures in their lives end up as battered wives, prosti.tutes, door mats and abuse victims - a word is enough for the wise, fathers step up to the game and start playing a positive role in your daughters lives in order to save them from the wolves masquerading as boyfriends, husbands and friends. undecided

What has our society turn into

We are basically mimicking all the negative traits of western society without the infrastructure and support systems which go hand in hand with those systems. Being a baby mama in the west is no big deal because the baby father has to pay child support for any child he fathers until that child reaches age 18 years. That's why you hear cases of men killing their pregnant baby mamas, the rapper DMX is owing over $400k in unpaid child support which he owes to several different baby mamas, failure to pay could mean prison time for him. Will any Nigerian man go to to prison for failing to provide for the upkeep of his progeny? I think not.

We love copying but we don't understand that the people we copy also have a system in place which ensures that you pay for bad choices you make in life.

Its either you are a trophy wife or a trophy husband - the two can not co-exist in one marriage.

A trophy wife is usually a very young beautiful woman married to an older rich man eg Oshiomole's wife.

Toke Makinwa is NOT a trophy wife as she is not beautiful and her husband is not an old rich man.

The opposite applies with a trophy husband - he has to be young and handsome and married to an older rich woman. The older rich wife uses him as a plaything and parades him in front of her (envious) rich female friends (who all want to sleep with him) he is basically a stud .

I wouldn't by any stretch of the imagination describe Toke's husband as handsome and I don't think he's rich either, rich men tend to go for women who stand out in a crowd as they regard their wives as show pieces to be paraded in front of their friends/business associates. Powerful men like to have what they perceive as the best of everything, particularly with regard to women.
Toke and Anita do not stand out in a crowd.

A trophy wife marries for financial security and status eg Oshiomole's wife.

characteristics of a trophy wife: beautiful face and body, plastic smile, empty brain.

A trophy husband does exactly the same thing
characteristics of a trophy husband: same as trophy wife.

Toke strikes me as the typical fake wanna be naija chick - she uses bleach, wears wigs/weave and speaks with a fake british/American accent. Anita is just a simple girl next door.

Eating dinner with your spouse is not just about filling up your stomach, its an opportunity for the couple to sit down together to enjoy each other's company and let off steam.

when we throw away quota system, tribalism and nepotism

I agree.

That was the reason that the Nigerian govt created federal govt colleges in the 1970s- to do away with tribalism and quota system. As a united nation we are invincible and strong but if we continue to bicker amongst each other we remain weak easy targets for our enemies. We need a visionary leader who can unite all Nigerians across all ethnic groups.

Nigerians are gifted academically that is a fact, but when is this academic achievement going to be used to uplift the plight of all Nigerians so that the rest of the world will bow to us and respect us?

We need to convert this academic knowledge into practical achievements that will force Europe, the US and Asia to treat us with the respect that we deserve.
