No ...I am not, at least my post on Facebook as far back as 2016 in support of Salah says I am not. Even though you are not going agree with me that Fabregas to an extent gave us KDB's numbers, we could have signed Ericksen back then and totally forget about the loss of KDB. Next season will be an important season for Havertz in defining the role and type of player he ultimately becomes. Will be interesting to see if Tuchel continues to mould and further develop him as a striker.

For me at this point in time, I still see him as a hybrid between 9 and 10 positions. Probably siding on being more of a 10, but can play as striker if the need is there due to the gift of height and finesse. He's not quite the full striker package yet. He has certain elements already, both natural and skill set wise. But is still lacking in other areas and can further improve.

If he were to continue to become a bonafide striker position then I'd like to see him work on some strength, shooting, aerial heading. Also some instinctual elements like shaking off the timidness at times and play with more swagger.

Deschamps just proved what his critics have always said about him that he's not a good tactician that his world cup win was more of a fluke than tactical brilliance. Towards the end of the game I had expected him to sub in Tolisso if fit or any midfielder who can control the midfield for either of Benzema or Mbappe and Griezmann for Giroud, but he opted for Sissoko as his go to man. France lost not for lack of technical brilliance but for lack of tactical discipline,
each Swiss attack through the flank upsets the their backline.
As for Mbappe he should slow things down and work on his decision making because this has become a problem for him in recent times.
Kudos to the Swiss coach and the players for taking the game to France without fear and trepidation, he proved that with a good tactician you can make something out of average and below average players.
