raumdeuter: Provide a list of all those who are listed as having won the treble and see if any Carling cup or Yorupa dey there
Celtic FC: 1966/67 No one, not even the great Real Madrid CF team that won the first five European Cups, could complete a treble in the competition's opening decade – Madrid having not completed their maiden domestic double until 1961/62. But in 1967 Celtic travelled to Lisbon with the Scottish League and Cup in their trophy cabinet, and defeated Inter 2-1. In the same season Celtic also lifted the Scottish League Cup and Glasgow Cup, all with a team born within 40km of Glasgow.
00:11 00:53 AFC Ajax: 1971/72 Inter were again the final victims as Ajax successfully defended the European Cup with a 2-0 win in Rotterdam courtesy of two Johan Cruyff goals. Cruyff had also managed 25 of Ajax's 104 Eredivisie goals and two weeks before the European Cup concluded, was on target as they defeated FC Den Haag in the Dutch Cup final, which like the continental decider was at Feijenoord Stadion.
PSV Eindhoven: 1987/88 The third treble, like the second, was completed by a Dutch club. Guus Hiddink's PSV had an even more spectacular domestic season than Ajax in 1971/72, scoring 117 goals in topping a third consecutive Eredivisie, and the Dutch Cup final scoreline was also 3-2, this time against Roda JC. However, after 120 minutes their European Cup final against SL Benfica in Stuttgart was goalless but PSV converted all six of their penalties to win the shoot-out 6-5 when António Veloso was denied by Hans van Breukelen.
00:02 02:01 Manchester United FC: 1998/99** The first team to do the treble in the UEFA Champions League era were also the first to win the competition having entered as neither holders nor domestic title winners. Despite their Premier League dominance under Sir Alex Ferguson, United had tended to underperform in the UEFA Champions League. However, as they picked up both domestic trophies they made their first European Cup final since 1968, squeezing through the group stage as a best runner-up and making a stunning comeback in the second leg of their semi at Juventus.
Without Roy Keane and Paul Scholes through suspension, United trailed the Barcelona final against FC Bayern München from the sixth minute until added time, when substitutes Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjær turned the game in unforgettable fashion.
FC Barcelona: 2008/09** A decade on from United completing the treble in Barcelona, the Blaugrana matched their feat against the Red Devils. Sir Alex had been in charge of United for 13 years in 1999 but this time lost out to a coach in his first season, Josep Guardiola. He had already led Barcelona to the double when they travelled to Rome to play holders United, and goals from Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi ensured Barcelona's clean sweep.
FC Internazionale Milano: 2009/10* There was not long to wait for the next treble, and Eto'o was also part of it having switched from Barcelona to Inter in the summer of 2009. The Nerazzurri won the Coppa Italia 1-0 against AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico with a Diego Milito goal and less than two weeks later he was on target again in a 1-0 victory at AC Siena that pipped the Giallorossi to the Serie A title on the final day. All that remained for José Mourinho's team was the UEFA Champions League final six days later in Madrid, against a Bayern side also able to complete a treble. Milito was again the hero with both goals in a 2-0 victory.
FC Bayern München: 2012/13** Just like Inter, Bayern had now been the victim in two treble-clinching finals. They got one of their own in incredible style, setting a points record of 91 and a record margin of 25 in winning the Bundesliga, which they did with six games to spare. They were top after every matchday, with a record number of victories, fewest defeats and highest goal difference.

raumdeuter: No team who wins a UEFA or Yorupa cup will count as a treble. the only cups who count as major treble. CL league and FA. Mourinho did not win any of these cups.
Winning all the inferior cups all over like Yorupa cup, Carling cup etc doesnt count

raumdeuter: Yes when UEFA is counting a treble they only count major trophies like UCL, League and the major cup in the country
None of the trophies Mourinho won counts toward a continental treble that means they are vastly inferior trophies

raumdeuter: The major trophies are CL, League and to a lesser extent FA cup Both havent won any. Its looking like Guardiola will win the league ahead of Mourinho Organised football bodies like FIFA, UEFA and English FA has published a number of MAJOR trophies to be competed for, and the chief of "amalanomics " in a one African country is telling them his own version of MAJOR trophies. Fine logic!!!

Mourinho took Man utd from 5th to 6th, Guardiola took the club from 4th to 3rd
Currently he has the longest winning record in the entire history of ENglish football of over 100yrs, this is a coach who just joined the league 2yrs ago Conte has the highest number of wins in a premier league season in his first while winning the league. Mourinho got the record total number of points which still stand till today. in his first season while winning the league. Ancelloti won the EPL with record number of goals in his first season while winning the league. Ranieri took a relegation threatened club and won the league. Pellegrini won the league in his first season. Mancini won the league in his first full season. What has Guardiola done? |

Hazard>> Best Young Player in France for season 2008-09
Best Young Player in France for season 2009-10
Best Player in France for season 2010-11
Best Foreign Player in France for 2011
Best Player Award in France for season 2011-12
PFA Young Player of the Year : 2013-14
PFA Players' Player of the Year : 2014-15
Football Writer's Award 2015
How's Pogba's inclusion in a selected team an individual award? Or the UEFA Young player's award you're creating yourself? Lol go and Google FiFpro XI award, it's the only team award won by individual players. It's an individual honour on its own, why didnt I include all these league team of the year? Those are not individual awards, FiFpro XI is. And for that Foriengn player award you wrote their Zlatan played gangan with that award in France It's not a major award. Even if u add it, it doesn't Still justify your earlier assertion |

I want this ukaku non-goal celebration should be the new goal celebration. Hargreaves is a city fan, don't you know? When he left us he started criticizing the team. Planning towards next season in terms of offloading deadwood and upgrading certain positions should start now, even from January. Like i said earlier we mustn't win the league this season, it's not a shame to finish 2nd to a team that refuse to drop points. We will try to stay as close as possible in case of any miraculous loss of form. And who said we can't have a go at the champions league? We are very very capable of winning it. And then build for next season, offloading deadwoods and those players stealing living and never want to spill blood for the team. |

PietroRico: I will appreciate a good criticism of Mourinho when I see one. I see a few here and there, but a vast majority of what I see here are just knee jerk reactions to city's performances and we really should be better than that. What if it were during fergie's reign when we just won the league in 2003, and from then on to 2006 before the world cup, United were in tatters. First the Arsenals invincibles and then the Jose s well oiled Chelsea machine. Didnt it get better, didn't we win league 3 in a row? And appeared in UCL 3 times in 4 years? Abeg my people make una chill abeg |
