Lindelof was bought to start with Bailly, to cover for injury prone Jones and and absent Rojo. He failed woefully so far. Even Tuanzebe is better than him. Lindelof is so far more of a flop than Bakayoko.

Look at the freed attacker that later recieved the pass from Dzeko, i think its perrotti, before he ran into that space, Look carefully and closely there is a chelsea Midfielder that was initially ahead of him(perrotti), then he allowed perrotti ran past him to exploit the space which Dzeko is about to create, he did not even close perrotti down AT ALL!!! The defenders did not mark dzeko well but then if that ball has gone in, that player there will have to share a huge amount of blame. Thats a lazy and lax attitude in a champions league night.

1990 Germany was an attacking side even the 74 Germany.

In 1990 Matthaus was an attacking midfielder, Brehme was an attacking full back, there was Klinsmann, Voller

1974 had Gerd Muller, Overath Hoeness Grabowski all attaching juggernauts even Paul Breitner was an attacking full back

You are correct for Brazil though, how about for Germany italia and the spanish triumphs.

Milan has never been know as an attacking team, infact they with Juventus served up the borest champions league final in history in 2003 at Old trafford. Not all madrids triumphs from 1998 to 2002 was all attacking, infact within that period of 18 years in which you mention. Man united twice, FC porto, Liverpool, Chelsea, intermilan and arguably milan has won the competition more by defensive solidity rather than gong ho attack.

You nailed it. I dont like defensive game at all!!!!. But imagine if we manage to get a 1-1 away draw at Barca in the semi-finals of the UCL. Mourinho can comfortably get a home 0-0 to advance. A mourihno team can never take a 5-3 lead to Monaco and crash out at the end.
