Anyway knowing Jose Mourinho and someone who has countlessly said he leaves clubs (or maybe forced out) when there is nothing interesting him anymore he won't be building any 20 years dynasty here, not in this era... I am not trying to link it, But Mourinho brings competiveness, and dodgedness to any league he goes to. When he entered EPL in 2004 it coincided with when the beginning of English dominance in When he left England was back to shit. he went to Laliga in 2010 Spain took over, he came back in England last year, English team has started putting in shifts with the recent results. I not reading any meaning to the coincidence though. But hate him or love him, he is a serial winner.

The SAF that I know will do anything not to lose against Liverpool. Fergie was even shown applauding the team after a strong performance from a defensive point of view.

If we can be able to avoid defeat away to the top teams and pick up the points against the lesser teams, the way I see it, we are still on course to win the league.

Every manager has his own tactics, Jose's own is defend when necessary , and batter the smaller teams, he is the most successful manager still in the game. His records speaks for him.

The team has made its best start in years to a Premier League season, but all we get is complaints.

Defensively we are more sound and appear more sure footed than last season. Yet no one sees tthis as any sign of progress.

We are second on the log. City will encounter periods when things will go wrong for them. Hopefully we will be able to capitalize.

Thank you very much, and this "park the bus" people are slating will help us in no distant time. Our solid defence will be handy one day in the later stages of the champions league, if not this year, in the coming years. At least we can be confident of closing up games we won in the first leg some day.

JM parked the bus against Liverpool 2 years in a row, that is what i know. I also know that nearly all the matches you have listed that Fergie parked the bus in have been disproved. Fergie rarely parked the bus and FYI in the premier league era we have won more matches at Anfield than Liverpool when we have met.

Me and you know that playing Darmain at CB is risky business, scratch that playing him at all is risky. (Mou is crazy for playing him yesterday) but when you consider that Young will be coming up against Salah, you might want to reconsider that. Mou used the 4231 to contain and hit them on the counter but Our midfield just collapse like the wall of jericho and you can't blame them really 3 midfield against 2 with Cutinho dropping deep to support and collect the ball. The question then is what did our own players did with the ball when they get it, you can't tell me that Mou instruct them to waste the ball anytime they get it. We played with 1 man down till Miki went off and Klopp maintained his superior midfield by continuing with the 3 men in the middle of the park.

Yep. In those 2 matches we had more possession, more corners, more shots at goal and more shots on target. It si not every match that we lost or played badly under Fergie that we parked the bus in.

I know I wasn't even referencing the games we lost, we won Everton in 2012 Season but once Chicharito scored earlier they dominated us, same with Southampton around that time once Rooney has given us the lead. Vs Norwich etc. My issue with those condemning mourinho is saying he packs the bus without any plan. Honestly it's unfair to him.
