pokur: I tara akwu,k'otu eze gi di?.This shows u are really a kid posting on here.Nkwo to nkwo was done by Obi,even here in Uruagu where there's much grouse against Obi no one can dispute nor twist that fact.As to ur Onitsha-Owerri rd assertion,I laugh in Spanglish.may be you dont know when nkwo to nkwo raod construction started, you just saw the end. Whether you like it or not Ngige kick started nkwo to nkwo rd construction. Morever i am not a die-hard ngige supporter and i dont much care who wins, but the bottomline here is that Ngige is more loved here than obi. |

Look warrior dont you ever insult me again, i dont argue with ppl of uncouth behaviour like you. Didnt you see the way 'asha' related her points? Where are you from in anambra? Dont stay behind your computer to browse rubbish coming here to argue with me on the road right in front of my house. Mr warrior where in anambra are you from? |
See let me tell all these stupid beings here, Ngige awarded and kicked off the construction of Nkwo to nkwo in 2005 it was only completed during peter obi's administration. So you will tell me when the road right in front of my compound was constructed. Look warrior or what ever you call yourself. Dont be a brute who is a kid? I tell you again peter obi never did anything for my ppl, he only collaborated with emma bishop Okonkwo to construct some roads in Ichi. If you dont know sometin keep quite and stop being insultive. @asha if you say that Ngige did nothing towards the dualisation of onitsha owerri road then you are misinformed, with my two eyes i saw ngige came to my village near ogwugwu-oba inspecting the construction of the onitsha-owerri road. Stop listening to rubbish being posted by politicians on internet to decieve our relative not staying at home. Peter obi did nothing for us period. Ngige kickstarted the construction of nkwo to nkwo. |
pokur: The Nkwo-to-Nkwo road was built by Peter Obi.It passes thru my village from where am typing this.from which nkwo to which nkwo, be specific, peter obi never constructed any road in my local govt. |
slimghost: U see how politically empty you are? If you were to be from anambra, then you would understand how revered Uwazurike is amognst most igbos down east. He is from Imo state yet he was the one that brokered the peace deal between Obi and Uwazurike. You kids should not dabble into things beyong your knowledge. Uwazuruike is a very respected man in Anambra and has great grassroots structure.its not true, he will be popular in your village but not mine, why are you spreading falsehood, i doubt if you stay in anambra. The only thing uwazurike is contributing to us ,is to use massob boys to harrass ppl, i nearly fought with one of them at a viewing centre in onitsha unknown to me. Ppl around sternly warn me to beg the fellow if not am a gonna. Those guys are charlatans. Uwazurike has no influence in anambra, except your village where you refuse to mention |
asha 80: can you name the long forgotten roads....i have a reason for asking.i cant name a many of them, but i know some specific ones, there is this network roads along st. Micheals road in ozubulu linking nnewi in one side and bursting out to ihiala lga on the other side, theres one linking nkwo-ezulogu in Oraifite to uruagu in nnewi, that road is in a sorry state for long before ngige came in, there is another troublesome bridge before nkwo-edo callled ekulo, work has started there before when he was governor until he was removed, infact currently even with foot you cant pass there becos it was since abandoned. The federal road coming from onitsha heading to owerri,(according to ,my father, the name of the lga was derived from that road 'ekwusigo') the road has been killing people, even some of my kinsmen. It was that period he was ruling dt d road was biult. The general perception is that ''Ngige rulu olu oge ochiri'' |
asha 80: if i may ask what did ngige do for ekwusigo during his time as governor?he constructed a lot of long forgotten roads accross the local govt, and payed all the civil servants being owed accumulated salaries esp. teachers, that alone made him very popular. Apart from him PDP is very popular here as shown during the PDP ward elections two weeks ago, but Apga seems to be dead here |
ik4life: I laugh when I see some political calculations and permutations here on nairaland in as much I don't want to join issues with anybody here I want you people to know that as things stand now in anambra state an unexpected candidate and party will emerge victorious on nov 16 ask me why? the reason is that so many factors that worked in favour or against so candidates in 2010 has been removed and new faces have emerged in the political landscape let us look at obiano for example he is from anambra east a neighbouring community from anambra west my lga he will loose anambra east because the people of umuoba anam, umueri and igbariam will never vote for anybody from aguleri to be anything talk more of governor nsugbe is for nwoye then nando and ntephe will be left for scramble then we come to anambra west were I come from we voted for apga during peter obi's election but will never vote for anybody from aguleri that is the decision now when you come to oyi it is a core pdp area because of the presence of the great wowo now ayamelum was lost by apga during peter obi's time so I don't think they can win it now with obiano comming to anambra it will be a straight fight between ngige and peter obi with peter obi winning anaocha and awka south while ngige wins the 2 idemili and awka north with labour party wining dunukofia because of the presence of ononwu ukwulu and emeka eze the rest of the local govt will be left to be scrambled comming to anambra south it will be a straight fight between ifeanyi uba and andy uba if he ls later cleared to contest as for ogbaru onitsha north and south I won't say for now cos the political arena there is not yet clear but 1 thing you people should not forget is 1 obiano will loose anambra east 2 anambra is about to have an unexpected person as governormy brother you are just spot on, i never considered that scenerio in anambra north.but i think apga will sweep ogbaru lga. And will likely win onitsha north/south. I am from anambra south, Ekwusigo Lga. APGA is not popular here at all! PDP is well known here, and Ngige is loved over here and ppl are singing his praise here. Our nearest neighbours Nnewi, ifeanyi ubah's LP has some ground in nnewi. I saw a lot of meetings going on in nnewi now. Apga may have a good showing there but will be given a run for their money. Ihiala another of our neighbouring lga look good for LP and PDP. But in all of these lgas, I am so sure dat Ngige will get a handful of votes. I dont know of orumba north/south. From my little stay in achina in aguata lga. Ngige will surprisingly win in aguata. Even if soludo contests(am sure of this one). Again note that ojukwu's influence has wane a little accros anambra. I laff at the person bringing in Uwazurike into the equation, all i will say is that you are not from anambra if not you will not be saying that. |
slimghost: on the contrary, you guys are the ones forcing your choice down on Nairalanders with fake information! Am from Njikoka LGA and I have been involved in Anambra politics for 10 years now so I understand it perfectly well and I don't mix it with sentiments!no wonder! Njikoka is one of apga strongholds, ngige will never win in this ur area. but i will advice you go to other constituencies and see what is happening there, ehem pls non-sentimentally did you know the situation in orumba north/south? where in njikoka are u from? Abba, Abagana, Enugu-Ukwu, Enugu-agidi, Nawfia or Nimo? |
slimghost: Noise making from Non-Anambrarians on Nairaland won't win the election for Ngige. November 16 is alomst here. During the 2010 election, we heard this same BS on Nairaland but Ngige was still embarrassed! Expect more embarrassment come Nov 16. Anambra is an APGA state and no power on earth will make them lose this election not when Obi and Uwazuruike are still alive.where in anambra you from? And pls stop being insultive, just argue constructively you cant force your choice down our throats. |
Ok. So who are you gona cast your vote for?
Ngige, |
Sure. I will be home by november surely but i doubt if i will vote. I'm a zikite and will be resuming school come october. Kai ka kwoya hausa a wani gari ne?
i stayed in Nassarawa state for 8years but returned home in 2001 after my juniour secondary |
One thing i have learnt is to take chino's opinion on any matter regarding anambra with a pinch of salt. The guy sounds as if everybody resident in anambra thinks like him. Anytime i scroll through any of his arguments with his 'like' abagworo, i laugh like mad. By the way, mutumina, waye za ka dankwala wa zabe a wata biyu mai zuwa?
a she kai baka a gari nmu ba, zaka dawo gida domin zaben ne? |
Lwtmb! Chino you sure dont dissapoint anytime anyday. Your exagerations are mind blowing. Some months back you were chanting OSELOKA OBAZE; some weeks back, SOLUDO. Now its WILLY, shey? Though i'm fast loosing interest in the outcome of the elections, but from the look of things bro, IT WILL REQUIRE A GREAT DEAL OF CAMPAIGNING FOR APGA TO WIN NGIGE COME NOVEMBER. To me, Its easier to predict the winner of a match between man-u and chelsea than the winner of the forthcoming elections. Na only GOD sabi
honestly you are so on point, the guy's exaggeration is so surprising he forgot he is not the only person residing in anambra. The election is too close to call not straightforward as he has rediculously put it. I refrained from countering his point to avoid any backlash, as it is written all over his post that he is a chest beater. |
asha 80: how can i forget the money miss road ifeanyi lol...he definitely going to have a whole no of votes in nnewi especially nnewi north.that guy is funny ifeanyi ubah is a joker. The fight is between Ngige and Apga. With ngige banking on his pedigree and his numerous fans, apga will depend on incubency and igbo appeal. One thing i fear is that Ngige has tremendous grassroot support cutting accros all LGAs. But apga control more lgas. Willy obiano's non popularity and the vote splitting between him an tony nwoye in anambra north, might work against him. Igbo sentiments may also work against Ngige. All in all it will be a close call |
asha 80: your predictions seem to be largely correct though i am suprised you gave apga the edge in onitsha north and south...i thought you give it apc...not sure about your prediction for orumba north and awka north though(type 'amansea community ngige angry borehole' on google).yah you are correct in that of orumba, i said its unpredictable, but you will agree with me that Ngige will get more votes than apga in orumba south am not sure of north. That of onitsha i gave it apga because onitsha is not a rural area, but even if apga wins onitsha north/south the margin will be too negligible.i think Ngige will win in awka north/south. I see apga edging nnewi north/south but i fear the effect of ifeanyi uba in that region. |
asha 80: when people talk of rural dwellers then ngige would win with those rural dwellers in idemmilli north and south, nnewi but rural dwellers in most of anambra north, parts of ihiala, orumba north and south might have other ideas.let me give you my predicted voting pattern in the forthcoming election Anambra north, both Tony Nwoye and Willy Obiano are from Aguleri in anambra east Lga, so there may be vote splitting between the two off them in the following Lgas: Anambra east and west,Anyamelum and Oyi. Ngige to gather the crumbs here. Ogbaru Lga is done and dusted for Apga. Then Apga will win Onitsha north/south closely followed by APC, ngige still enjoys goodwill among traders. Onitsha north/south has up to 1/4 of the population of this zone ANAMBRA CENTRAL Apga will sweep anaocha Lga. Because of peter obi, dora and victor umeh, then ApC will sweep Idenmili north/south. Then apga will slightly edge apc in Njikoka and dunukofia. While Apc/ngige will slightly edge apga in Awka north/south. With pdp coming distant 3rd. Note that idenmili north/south has up 1/4 of the total votes of this zone. ANAMBRA SOUTH in Nnewi north/south Apga and Pdp will edge Apc with a little margin due to Ojukwu.the margin will be little because some part will vote for Ifeanyi uba's LP. Apc will edge Ekwusigo becos ngige enjoys ppl's good will there. In ihiala apga, pdp and apc will slug it out. orumba north/south are unpredictable but two my friends one in Oko and one in Ogboji told me that Ngige enjoy his ppl good will over there due to the good things he did to the when he was governor. Then in aguata lga. surprisingly Ngige will win there forget ubah and co. Although i stand to be corected no insults pls its jst my prediction |
slimghost: In your warped mind! APGA all the way! Come to Anambra and feel it in the air.which part of anambra are u now, because the location i am now, Ngige will defeat Apga hands down, so dont deceive ppl,,,am not a staunch suppoter of Ngige but tthat man has grassroot support |
duality: As a neutral observer of Anambra politics ; I say this is absolute nonsense.you are not neutral dont be a hypocrite |
alexchiny: You are talking rubbish! Open the thread yourself and watch true Anambrarians tell the facts. Most people on Nairaland bashing Obi are not even from Anambra. I have listed the man's achievements to you but you still choose to blindly hate him. Go to Ayamelum LG,Njikoka LG,Ekwulobia LG, in fact most rural areas and witness huge developments going on there. Right about now, the man is even trying to concentrate on Onitsha with many inner road construction and tidying up of the bridge head. Take a tour around Anambra before coming here to embarrass yourself. Tell me which other SE state has attracted investors like Anambra State during Obi's tenure? Have we ever enjoyed stable polity like this under Mbadinuju and Ngige's reign? Right about now, Anambra State is almost debt free. Only idio.ts and sycophants would really rate this man low.EKWULOBIA LGA? mr alexychiny, you must be a blockhead. Such LGA do not exist in my state |
alexchiny: You are obviously deluded bro! Really.i am beginning to think you are payed to discredit anybody that is against your candidate, you are not the only person in anambra, I am too and i must tell you that these things you are saying here is rubbish you are just being mischevious |
Among all the candidates ,i want to ask, who has performed better? If Ngige is good let him govern us, if its obiano let him govern, at least i know that the 2 ubas are thieves. |
guhn50: For those dat havnt got their invites pls relax. I jst communicated with the HR and He said its in batches and most of our names are not in the current list which was prepared for dis TS. another batch will be probably september 16th or there about. Please peeps when is the invitation balling in, i did my medical in abuja since june, although i did my interview 10 may in owerri, this thing is taking time unusually oo |
kingbang: One thing is now clear, APC should forget Igbo votes come 2015! Goodluck for Jonathan.my friend speak on the issue and stop being stupid, you are just a pdp pathetic fanboy, trying to blackmail APC in the eye of vunerable Nigerians, i can even bet you are not an igbo not to talk of coming from Anambra. If this is why Anambra ppl wont vote ngige so be it, afterall igbos like putting themselves in tight corner due to their myopic way of thinking, why cant bigots like you read carefully what ngige said before joining the bandwagons of uninformed ppl to spew gabbage. I weep for this country we are not ready fron liberation yet. |
Hello peeps am new here, and i just found this forum, please i worte test in owerri around April, and did my interviews also at owerri, i did my medicals here in Abj jun 6.but since then i havnt heard anytin frm diamond bank, what is happening?
